"I'm sorry but I wouldn't wish for you to be hurt.. Khia has no problem with kneeling down if asked..." It was an amusing thought but it was also a serious one, to him. He didn't want anything to happen to Viddy in the least.. so it was a serious matter at the same time. Weird how such things worked in his head. Lifting a hand to lightly scratch his cheek, he leaned back carefully, mindful of his banadages cause he had no choice in that matter.
He watched her as she took everything he had taught her in. He knew it was a lot to handle, the entire language, so it was best to start with easy words. One can start using without much thought to it. Once she substituted the english for the japanese then she had gottent heir meaning and he could work on teaching her other things. A slight thought came to him and he smirked. Since when had he become the teaching type? He was definately not a sensei figure yet here he was trying to teach someone. Odd. But he listened calmly as she recited back to him, a soft grin tugging at his lips. "You got it! Good job, Viddy. I knew you would be able to handle it well!" He would admit that this teaching thing made him feel a sense of pride.. like he did when he finally mastered a move. It was a truly nice feeling.

"Naah...I probably wouldn't ask him to kneel down...It must get uncomfortable after a while." Vidya smiled softly in reassurance. She could never ask that of a friend seriously. She might joke about it, depending on how tall her friends turn out to be, but she'd never seriously ask them into possible discomfort just because she was doomed to be short.
Swaying her legs over the edge of the bench, beaming happily as he praised her over her successful repeat of what he had told her. "Thank you!" She chirped out, giving him an eyeless smile. "The language is so pretty...and it sounds like it flows to well together, like a song. I can't help but really, really like it!" When she liked things, she remembered them easier than anything else, naturally. Then, opening her eyes, she gave him a curious look. "Can you swim, Jiro-sensei?" The question was out of nowhere...and apparently she'd grown attached to calling him 'sensei', which was fine for her, she didn't mind. He was younger than her sure, but he seemed a heckuva lot more mature than she...that and he was teaching her another language. So, until otherwise told (and even then, it'd be difficult), She'd continue to call him that.

"I doubt it would be a problem.. especially since Khia's on all fours all the time anyway. Maybe he won't have to kneel down at all. Never know." Actually looking more in thought about it, he rubbed his cheek. Height was something he didn't think about overly much, nor did he care about it. He was just thankful he wasn't a chibi anymore. That was his source of happiness, if he was honest.
Though he was happy with how she seemed to grasp the language so readily. Perhaps she truly was eager to learn.. it made a strange sense of pride feel him. Something he would have to wonder about later when he had more time for such deep thoughts. "It is like a song in a lot of ways. A lot of languages are like that.. not all of them, but some." He was straightening his bandages a bit when she asked him if he could swim. it was something that was definately out of the blue indeed and at first he had no idea what she was going on about. That and being called sensei made her simply blink at her for a moment. "Swim? Yes... somewhat." He could swim if he wanted but since he rarely did it, he didn't think about it. "Why do you ask?"

Nobody knew why, but height seemed to be something Vidya liked to reflect on. Why was anybody's guess, and no one ever said the blue girl was anywhere near normal or organized in thought.
"I think...languages that are like songs are easier to learn, because you wanna hear how the words sound strung together when you're finished!" Vidya decided, clapping her hands together just once, as if she had just decided something important. When she received his answer about swimming, she stopped swinging her legs over the ledge of the bench, sitting still for once. "Just curious. I taught Armel how to swim once! Maybe one day we could all go swimming somewhere!" Or better yet, on a beach! All of her friends could go, though she'd have to bring a cattleprod to seperate her friends that weren't too fond of eachother. But it would be nice to all go to the beach someday!
"Oh...um...If you want, I can rebandage that for you..." She offered gently, nodding her head towards his chest. Apparently she'd noticed the way he was straightening them. "I bandage myself up all the time!" Well, that was only because she was learning how to fight, and...well, lets just say she's not a pro.

To him, it was just a bit amusing to see; Viddy's focus on height. To him, it wasn't like she was short, but he felt that he was still rather short in his own right.
"Languages that are like songs...? hmm.." He lifted a hand and rubbed his chin a bit in thought. "I've heard that some people master launguages better if they are placed in music.. likes songs with lyrics and whatnot... But I do see your view on it. It's a rather interesting thought, I say." Watching her as she got all excited over swimming and things like that, he just blinked at her. All.. go swimming? Viddy was friends with a lot of people and he definately wasn't one for crowds. "Um... sure. If it'll make you happy, I'll do my best to attend..." As long as it didn't mean he had to interact with anyone he didn't know or like, he would be fine. After all, Yuhin always said he should do a lot more swimming instead of fighting all the time.
His hands stilled as she brought up his bandages and he looked down at them before he looked at her. It wasn't like he didn't trust her after all so he lowered his hands and nodded. "Sure.." But since they wrapped around his upper body, he had to work off the top part of his kimono so she could get to it. As his upper body was revealed, she could easily see more bandages along his arms, but he didn't seem concerned with them. Those bandages were for covering up things, not because he was in pain.

"People learn faster when its made into an actual song...?" Vidya parrotted softly, looking thoroughly thoughtful over the concept. "Actually, that makes sense too. I learn things I'm interested in faster than things I'm not interested in...and a song would definately get me more interested in something!" She mused happily, tapping her chin for a moment. The Vidya now certainly was a lot different than the Vidya he'd first come across...it seemed the presence of a friend greatly increased her mood and softened her worries.
"Most of my friends don't like crowds." She stated knowingly, after watching Jiro and listening to his almost hesitant promise. Still, she tried to pass off her statement as more of a musing than a reassurance. "So it'd probably only be a few of my closer friends." Nodding with a grin, Vidya leaned back a bit on the bench, stretching out her legs before leaning forward again.
When Jiro first started to remove the top of his Kimono, Vidya looked fairly surprised; she didn't think he'd be the type to let everyone see his wounds since well...they were in public. A moment or two later found Vidya helping him, since she knew herself how hard it was to get in and out of a kimono...and since she had an idea of how injured he was. Once the kimono top was off she pursed her lips, noticing the other bandages along his arms. She thought to comment on them...but eventually thought better of it, figuring it wasn't her business.
"Okay...want me to just fix these, or completely rebandage them...? I have extra bandages in my bag." Though they were usually for just incases, but mostly for herself; she had a bad habit of accidentally hurting herself or opening up healing wounds. Whoops. But at least now they might be of use to someone who was close to her! While she waited for his answer, she started tracing along the bandages to find the end. Apparently she forgot, or perhaps she just didn't care that they were in public because she'd leaned in a bit closer, since her already questionable eyesight had been giving her trouble as of late.
