"I'll explain the rest of the rules later as we start on our sleeping potion. This is one of the potions we are not going to take out of class. No I will set out all of your materials and start to make the potion." She said handing out some strange utencils, mixers, jars, and items. When she was finished she walked back up to the front board and looked at all her students as she pulled out a knife and setting it on her desk. "Now take out your frogs eyes. They are contained in your green jar."

The student looked up quickly when she came around, and then looked at the stuff she had put down in front of his desk. He cocked an eyebrow as he looked at the stuff, poking at it. He looked up when she spoke, and nodded slightly. " Green jar...Green ja--Ah!, green jar. ", he said to himself as he unscrewed the cap and looked inside. Eyeballs seemed to be floating around in a stenchy, dark liquid. " Add a little salt, a little oil, and this would make a great energy drink!", he chuckled lightly to himself. He waited until further instruction as he looked around the room.

"Take out four with your spoon and put them in your caldrin." She said crossing her arms and looking at the students. "Then take out your crows."

He nodded at her directions, and reached for his spoon. He then dipped it into the jar, and pulled out one of the eyeballs. He dropped it into the cauldron, and took out three more as well, dropping them into the cauldron. He sighed, and then looked for the...crows. He found them sealed in a ziploc bag, and opened it up, taking one out. It still felt warm in his huge hand, like it was still alive. But of course, it wasn't. He waited for Ms. Spears as he awkwardly held the crow in his right hand.

She luaghed a bit when she saw the students trying to handle the crow. "Now I want you to hold the crow as I come around so they won't feel anything."[/b]

He looked up surprised, caught off guard by her soft laugh. He looked down at the crow in his right hand, and thought he was holding it wrong. So he fiddled around with it a bit, which made it look like it was struggling. He kept a concentrated look on his face as he continued to mess around with the crow.

Rio Gold rushed down the hall with her long golden locks whipping behind her. "Sorry I'm late..." Rio half smiled as she pushed through the door. "I-I just arrived at the academy and well I got lost and er-" She stopped talking and took a step forward, tripping over her shoelace, dropping nearly all her materials. "Come on!" Rio exclaimed to herself as knelt down to pick them up as quickly as she could.

The student noticed the girl walk in, and turned his attention towards her. He then saw her trip and fall, and gasped slightly. He got up from his seat, towering over the girl, just like he did to everyone else. The giant bent down on one knee, and looked at her. " Do you need help, miss?", he asked, his deep voice making the whisper louder than it needed to be. He offered his massive hand to her as he placed the crow back on his desk.

Rio Gold heard someone stand up and then ask her for help. She slid her light blue eyes towards the figure and saw his extended hand. "Um... thank you." She smiled, her cheeks were starting to burn. Rio extended her hand so it rested inside his own.

He smiled lightly, and looked her in the eye, his hazel eyes locking with hers. He grasped her hand lightly, and helped her back to her feet. He then grabbed her stuff that had fallen, and set it on the desk next to his. He stood up to where he was beside her, towering over her, looking down at her with a warm smile. " I reckin' you sits beside me if you wanna, but I aint forcing ya, miss", he said, his deep voice having a soft tone to it.

Rio pulled away from his eyes and quickly sat beside him. "I'm Rio," she said weakly as she read the board. "Thanks for helping me..." Rio sighed. Her hands fumbled as she tried to find a green jar. Her eyes lit up as she noticed a piece of paper containing the rules. "Do you think witches look like that?" She poked her finger at the doodle and then continued on her search.

Micheal sighed as the crow flew around the room wildly. She glared at it then it fell, stone dead to the floor. She picked up the crow and showed it to the class. "I shall come around and do what I did to this one." She said looking at the class.

The student glanced back at her, and smiled softly. " That's a mighty fine name, miss. My name's Jericho. Yous welcome, just bein' one of these old " Gentle-Mens", he said with a simpleton accent. He watched her fumble around with her stuff, and he cocked an eyebrow. " Yous nervous about school, aint ya?", he asked again. He then noticed her pointing at his doodle, and he chuckled. " Yes ma'am, that right'der in a fine witch, I tell ya.", he said with content as he looked back up at the board. He noticed her glare at the crow, and he sighed. " Mama never did hurtin' things, Mama said hurtin' things is like hurtin' mister Jesus..", he said in a low voice that not even Rio could hear.
