"That comes from your dryad side, I trust. I have never found much interest in meddling in nature's domain myself." Bertram stated with an idle flick of his tail that was almost distasteful. "Do you do anything else?"
"Mm somethin like that." Daryl agreed with a nod and looked at Aikyn and Bertram. "They're gettin along okay. Bertram's bein civil."

Aikyn seemed to think about it, "I am raising a little dragon that I got from here, her name is Sugar and she is really sweet." He said, then giggled as he realized that he'd said Sugar was sweet, something that was quite amusing to someone his age, "Other then that... not a lot, I watch tv sometimes with my Daddy June, and I run around a lot outside, and I like to play in the sprinkler even though its supposed to be for the flower." Mostly childish things but then again they suited him given his age.
He wondered if there was anything that he did that the Unicorn did or it he were nothing like him other then sharing some of his features. That would be a little sad if that were so but at the same time at least he was got some of his looks from Bertram, something he was glad for since the unicorn was quite pretty.
"I am glad, Aikyn is a bit skittish so I would worry if he weren't being civil." It would be likely that the boy would end up running back over to him in tears for something. That he would rather not see, hoping that this meeting went well so that the boy was left in a good mood instead of a tearful one.

Bertram nodded a little. "You are still small. You shall learn to gallop properly in time, through waterfalls and valleys, rather than just a small sprinkler. Maybe I will show you how to run far when you are older." the unicorn stated in an offhand manner.
"Nawwwwww, Bertram's pretty civil with most of the lil ones. Unless they offend him really hard, he's fine. He prefers girls though. It's just his nature."
