Was hit with the light-tube/kick, causing him to stumble backwards into the barricade. He put a hand on his head, hoping that he hadn't already drawn blood.

Joshua was out to end this early, rather than to let Matt use his size to his advantage. So Joshua went over to the apron and grabbed onto the middle rope. He used it to pull himself up onto the apron, before looking back at Shanahan and jumping off with a moonsault onto the standing Shanahan, looking to take them both over the barricade!

Shanahan brought his hand away from his face and looked up, only to see Danielson flying through the air! Thinking quickly, Matt attempted to dive to side, hoping that Joshua would miss him completely and hit the barricade!

Joshua didn't expect Shanahan to be able to move out of the way, so he landed stomach first on the barricade! He was coughing hard as all the air went out of his lungs!

Matt got up off the ground and turned around to see Joshua on the barricade. Before he could slide off, Shanahan ran at him and attempted to hit him with a hard boot to the side of the head!

Joshua's face was smashed with the hard boot, and a glob of saliva was sent flying! Or was it a tooth? Oh well. Joshua's head snapped to the side, and he slid forward off of the barricade like a rag doll, slumping down to the ground.

Shanahan looked down at Joshua, letting a cold smirk cross his face. This match had gone from a normal title defense into a hardcore match in just a matter of minutes, and Matt was liking that. He reached out a hand to grab Joshua, but stopped halfway. Turning around, he saw the light-tubes that were sitting on the apron, and a devilish idea crossed his mind. He walked over to grab them, hoping that Joshua wouldn't be able to recover by the time he got the light-tubes.

Joshua had started to come to, but not before Matt got to the light tubes. He shook out the cobwebs in his head before pushing up to his hands and knees, slowly trying to get to his feet.

Matt grabbed the bundle of light-tubes, and turned around to Joshua. Any plans that he had for those light-tubes were about to be thwarted, as Shanahan ran back at Danielson and attempted to bring them crashing down onto Joshua, aiming for his back!

The light tubes were shattered across Joshua's back! He fell to the floor holding his back and yelling as some shards of glass stuck into his back!

After the light-tubes had shattered all over Joshua's back, Shanahan stood over him, still not content with the damage done. He would attempt to place his foot on Joshua's lower back, and attempt to drive what was left of the light-tubes straight down onto his back!

Joshua thought the damage was over, but the glass shards were driven even farther into his back as Shanahan put force down on them! He yelled and clawed on the ground trying to get out from underneath Matt's foot.

Shanahan finally pulled his foot off of Joshua and threw the remainder light-tube pieces out into the seats. He looked down at Danielson, rage still coursing in his veins. He walked over to the apron and looked under it, trying to find something else to use to further Joshua's beating.

As Matt began to look underneath the ring, Joshua began to crawl away, before he finally reached up and took a hold of the barricade. He pulled himself up and over before falling to the other side and trying to crawl away some more.

Matt finally came up from under the ring, holding a long strand of barbwire. He turned around to look for Danielson... Only to see nothing!
"... Ugh... Where did that ******** go?"
He hadn't seen Joshua climb over the barricade or even start crawling away. Shanahan began to search frantically around the ring, thinking that maybe Joshua had hidden somewhere around it.
