 "This is what fun is? It's...Fabulous!" Sixxie giggled again, and noticed she was way out of character. Was this the effect that the park had on her? Made her able to break away from the facade that the Mafia had installed in her mind? "What is next?" She asked happily, wondering what other thrills lied in the machinery of the park. It was a whole new world to her... And deeply inviting.

"Well dear that's up for you to decide. Though, I suggest you have some sugar. Cotton candy is my absolute favorite. You have a lot more fun when you're hyper." she said to her as she got out of the cart and began to look around. "Well I guess I could joing you for one more ride." she said as her senses focused on finding something even more fun. She spotted the slingshot ride and remembered the last time she had been on it. Not only did the slingshot shoot you high into the sky at a fast rate, the cage you were sitting in would spin you around the entire time. Perfect for thrill seekers! She looked back at Sixxie and motioned for her to follow as she ran off to the wonderful attraction.

Sixxie followed quietly, guessing what they were going to go on as they passed a multitude of them. Only when she considered the option of the sling shot ride did they appear before it. "Woaah...." She uttered, in sheer amazement. It looked... Magnificent. Beautiful. Whatever it was, it looked fun. And fun it shall be, no?

She patted the seat next to her and winked at her worker, making sure they made this as fun as possible. "I love this ride because it reminds me that what comes up, must come down!" she said with a giggle. "Oh and by the end of the day I assure you, not only will you know how to have fun, but you might even learn how to have fun while fighting. Well I know I do. It's a secret though but I just might tell you." she said as she nudged her.

Sixxie just giggled, and clambered into the cage, sitting in the seat next to Lulu. "Will this be what I expect?" She wondered out loud to herself, getting excited just waiting for it to start. The anticipation... Was it the afterthrill? The thrill before the fun? It was a new world... That Sixxie almost wished she didn't have to leave. But being the Mafia, she'd have to some day. She'd be assigned a charge... And this would all disappear to her again.

They were launched up high into the sky, almost above the clouds. As they gained speed, the cage began to turn around. They were spinning in circles as the slingshot headed back down just as fast as it took to get up. And it went back and forth like that before it went to only one strand. They were now being launched into sky in the same motion as a ferris wheel only much much faster. She shrieked and laughed hysterically as she felt the wind through her hair. Everything was a giant blur to her and she was uncapable of seeing anything.

 Adele ran through the forest and made her way to the park. She walked in and looked at Alcott. "Please, answer my question. Like I told you before, you will be given your immortality. I give you my word. But why must you do this? If you truly love Zaire, you wouldn't do this to her." she said to him calmly as she walked around the park to find Lulu.

Adele looked at him and smiled before laughing. "I know a lot of things Alcott. I may be young, but I have been in love. Though he was also taken to the wasteland. He was a vampire and he killed a human." she explained before she stopped at the slingshot ride. "She's here. You'll have to wait a moment. Which means you'll have plenty of time to answer my question." she said with a smile. "I'm not that bad a person and I can keep a secret. Like I told you, you can trust me." she said to him softly.

Alcott thought about a thousand insults to say, but decided to say the one truth. "Yeah, I loved Zaire. Part of me still does. I gave her everything she wanted and more, but after a few months of happiness, she breaks my heart into thousands of tiny pieces. She breaks those pieces up, too!"

Adele nodded and sighed. "Well I don't see the point in falling in love. People just forget or they die. I think love is pointless." she admitted to him before she felt shadows appear around them. "Lulu is coming." she said.

As soon as she saw Alcott she grinned and her cat-like eyes shined. "Alcott! Oh I'm so glad you came to visit me. It's been too long. Have you finally decided to join me? Or are you still in love with that weakling Zaire?" she asked him. She smelled his scent and her demon wings unraveled and stretched to their full length. She moved closer to him and leaned toward his ear. "Now I know what you desire. You wish for immortality. I can give you what you want. But first, you must give me what I want." she whispered in his ear as she caressed his cheek.

She motioned for them to follow her as she headed back to her "office". She let her hands move across the red and black velvet curtains that draped over the gothic style room. "Let's cut to the chase. You want immortality and I want you to right now say you love me and proove it." she said to Alcott with a giggle.

Adele ran her nimble fingers through her fiery red hair as she listened to Alcott and Lulu. She wasn't sure why she was still here since her job was done. She looked at Alcott and bowed. "I'm terribly sorry, but I must head back to the Elf kingdom. I have some unfinished business." she said with a giggle. She looked up at Alcott and smiled. "You've probably left quite a mess for me to clean. Though I do hope we meet again Alcott. I have to say, it's been quite interesting with you around. But next time we do meet, I pray it won't be because you're killing someone." she said as she turned on her heel and began to walk away. Her eyes shined with happiness and curiousity. She turned her head slightly to look back at Alcott. "If it means anything, I don't consider you an enemy." she said softly. Her child-like face brightened as she left the room and made her way back to the Elf kingdom. She wasn't sure if Hadasa would be mad at her for just running off like that without an explanation, but she knew she would forgive her.
