"Yes," he said, simply, bowing to her obediently. He could have fainted with relief, and wasn't even entirely sure why he was so relieved -- after all, what difference did it make if this pitiful white male was accepted or not? Yet, Iosef found that he did care, cared very much more than he would have expected, and that bothered him in a very different sort of way. "Thank you."
He shot Tui a "we're done here, come on" sort of look before turning in the direction he had been directed, to speak to Cleite. In truth, he was relieved that they would be watched; he didn't exactly feel safe, with a would-be assassin in their midst, and Cleite at least could protect them if they got in trouble. It was for their own good, after all.

Tui's pale eyes fluttered upwards to Pen's face for a fleeting moment, for just a glimpse of grateful awe, before he turned his stringy frame to follow at Iosef's heels. His thoughts squeaked and jumped in a brainless kind of excitement, and he could only pray for a quiet moment soon, so that he could pull himself together.
