Hey, she got something! The fairy was about to work on expanding the little flesh wound in the man's elbow, but obviously, you don't get two attacks in a row. Esouna suddenly felt a powerful force on her ankle, unable to register the blazing-fast arm movement in time to react. Holy hell, did Edward have super-strength? With a grip force of that magnitude, circulation stopped immediately. Also, OW.
Her face contorted into a grimace, but she wasn't going to give up an opportunity by just sitting there and whining about a booboo on her leg. Esouna abruptly flexed her arm in a motion that brought her elbow up, but kept the shank in the wound. This twisting motion allowed the now-bloodied point to get at the cartilage in the joint, so, cue push. Worst case scenario, Edward stops it. Best case scenario, a tendon gets all ******** up and renders the arm useless.

Yeah, she did get something! And it hurt, hurt quite a bit. But totally survivable, even when the fairy began twisting the giant splinter. Grimacing, the cyberpunk almost instantly cocked his entire right arm back, partially because he wanted to punch the crap out of Esouna, but mostly reactionary to the pain in his elbow. His arm was in pain, not in a stasis field. The damage itself wasn't very significant either; the fairy was already poking solid bone with the makeshift weapon. There just wasn't enough monkey meat to work with.
The cyborg maintained his hold on Esouna's right ankle, pulling back his other arm for waht looked like the knockout punch from hell, but it NEVER came. Another feint! Instead, Ed yanked on the diminutive creature's leg, attempting to swing his left arm and her 30 pound (give or take) figure over his head. One in the audience could easily predict what Edward was planning. First the ascension over Edward's head, followed by a powerful descent. He was going to slam Esouna straight into the platform.
If successful with the initial yank, Edward would simultaneously begin to turn his body 180 degrees in order to better position himself for the downward swing. Halfway through the swing, the right hand would join the left in what looked like a downward swing of a sledge hammer. Except Esouna's leg wasn't a sledge hammer's handle, and her head wasn't a hammer head. But it would be used like one.
The punk would put his entire body into the swing. A motion that he was quite used to during training. He never actually thought that swinging a sledge hammer at a big tire would translate into a fight. Gaia Primus...always surprising him.
If it all worked out, Ed would snarl at his opponent, letting go with the left hand, but keeping the right wrapped around Esouna's lower leg. Blood dripped down his tattoo sleeved forearm and hand.
