Emile looked up from his coffee and smiled. "Quit acting like that didn't happen, jeez i saw the whole thing... Your a better guy than I thought. But dear lord, stop getting ourself beat up form people..." he said, he got up and got some napkins and got them a little wet. he walked over to Jason and wiped off all the blood that remained on his face.
"You don't always have to be the hero you know, sometimes its good to just lay low and let the police handle things. But you dont have to listen to me since im the one that jumped off the roof of my house when i was 12...um that came up a bit too randomly...." he said. he sat back down and sipped on his coffee nervously.

Who would of thought it would come to pain...?"Jason watched Emile silently, "...I know...I shouldn't always be the hero." He laughed a little, and his eyes seemed to sadden. "It's just that when Kyle was killed, I tried to help him. I felt so helpless. Watching him die in front of me was horrible for me. And I've had to help everyone that needs it." Jason said sadly, gripping his coffee cup. He took a drink, and looked to Emile, "Even if I get hurt in the process. Emile...you jumped off of your house, huh?" He looked down a little.

Emile looked at Jason a little bit angry at the words spilling out of his mouth. "Nothing to be ashamed of, are you kidding me?! i tried to kill myself! It was the worst time of my life! And I still wish i could go back and do it again execpt for this time i wouldn't fail..." he looked down into his coffee and sighed, he felt his tears coming and didn't bother to stop them. He just took off his glasses and wiped them away with his arm. Remembering the time when he was twelve was hard for him but he couldn't help but think of it.
"Mom im sick of this, why is it that everyone has a better life than me!" Emile Yelled from the top of the roof. He could feel his feet starting to slip. "Emile, things will get better! You just have to wait! Please get down from there!" His mother yelled. At that very second he slipped off the roof and fell two stories and before he hit the ground somebody caught him, someone he had never meet before. But before he got the chance to thank him he was gone.
"My mother and I had a fight that day and i always went to the roof of our old two story house and said if she doesn't do something I would jump. But that time she had no controle of what i wanted and so i jumped. But it was ruined because someone caught me..." Emile explained.

Who would of thought it would come to pain...?"He watched Emile silently. For some strange reason, even though they haven't known each other too personally for too long, he felt horrible. Seeing him in pain brought back how he felt with Kyle. "Please. Don't cry." Jason choked, before looking to Emile again. A flash of Kyle crying, then another of Jason jumping off of a high ledge. He screamed. "Jason!! Wait!" Kyle called out to him. Jason looked back, as he fell towards the ground. They were only little kids back then.
"Jason...please don't cry.." Kyle sobbed, shaking his head.
"How was that? Pretty good right?" Kyle smiled, "It's my first time cooking!"
"Let him go!" Jason yelled. "Don't try and be a hero Jason!" The man grinned, holding a knife to Kyle's throat.
"You're family was in an accident yesterday...they didn't make it..."
"I'll jump!!" Jason screamed. Nobody was there. Tears weld up in his eyes, and he shook his head, "Please don't cry okay? It hurts too much..." Emile Stood up and put 5 dollars on the table. "Drinks on me, I have to go hoe, ive got a ton of things to do that i didn't even think about, im sorry... maybe another time?" he was just using that excuse to leave. He really didn't want to stay and cry the whole time...

He walked through the crowds of people, shoving his hands into Levis pockets, and took long steps. I should have known. He doesn't care, like everyone else. Who can blame him...? Jason laughed a little bit to himself, and got outside of the mall. He looked up, the rain pouring down. Maybe I should go see Kyle. He could help me...As the rain pattered roughly on Jason and the ground, he stepped to a grave stone in a remote location by a lake. Jason knelt down, feeling his knees get muddy, "I need your help, Kyle. I'm so confused...so lost." He whispered, putting flowers by the slab. A picture in a frame of Kyle had raindrops falling off of it. "I don't know how to live without you..." He said sadly, his smile weak. It was silent, the picture of Kyle, smiling happily. "You always were the smiley type..." He laughed a little. (Alright. By the way, it may add a bit more drama if Emile followed him. Emile followed quietly, making sure he wasn't spotted or heard. He hid behind a tree, listening to Jason speak so sweetly to his parted friend Kyle. Emile looked up in the tree and found a baby fox hiding. He took it down and held it in his arms. "I bet Kyle ment a lot to him... Maybe, just maybe i could be like kyle for him, you know to help him since he has to help everyone else, hes the one who really needs help" he thought. He closed his eyes and petted the little fox

Who would of thought it would come to pain...?""Kyle...today I talked to a student from my school. His name's Emile. I'm worried for him. I want to help him with whatever he needs. How can I...?" His eyes seemed to fade. "But he might not want it. I'm stuck..." He let his head hang a little. The wind pushed the flowers a little, and the rained cleared up a bit, "..alright Kyle. I'll do what I can. Thank you.." He picked up the picture, "...I love you, Kyle...I'll come to see you again soon." Jason stood, soaked.
It was so strange. Kyle was the first love that Jason had, and nobody seemed to understand. But that didn't seem to matter. Everyone thought that they were just friends, but in the last couple years before he died, they started to date, and were one of the cutest couples, even though they were gay. (Gay couples are so cute :3 I'm all for it too. Just speaking like some people would. I'm bi, myself XD) They were inseparable for so long. Kyle was the only thing keeping Jason happy those days.
He put the picture back down, and the sun shined softly on Jason. He looked up, smiling, "Help me make him happy. Help me know that I can do it, Kyle..." Emile stepped out from behind the tree and looked at Jason and continued to pet the fox. He made sure Jason still could see him. "He just wants to make me happy? He wants to help me? Well ill give it a shot and try to be like Kyle and maybe we can help eachother..." he thought. it felt nice knowing there was always going to be someone there looking out for you. For Jason it was Kyle and for Emile, it was Jason.
"Hes such a nice guy..." before he could even think about what he said he knew Jason heard him. he hid behind the tree and held the little fox close to him.

Emile smiled. "I um, was coming to check up on you." he lied. He put the fox down and it ran back to the forest. "Okay so how are you doing?" he said with a smile. He tried to keep the lie going but it was really clear he wasn't telling the truth. Helooked down at his feet and the flowers. He smiled and adjusted his glasses.

Emile sighed. "Ok, I cant lie to you. I heard everything when you were talking to Kyle over there, sorry..." he said. he linked his hands behind his back and looked up at him. His deep blue eyes were striking. Just like the water in the lake behind them. He leaned up against the tree and took a deep breath before closing his eyes, thinking about what the other would say about him listening.

The sun reflected off of his blue eyes, making them lighter than normal. "I want to help you, Emile. Because we are similar in some ways. We've been through things most people haven't..." He nodded, "It's true that I'm gay. Or was...but at least I was happy. Or at least...I am happy. Whenever you're around, I seem to feel better, is all. Not trying to be mushy or anything.
