"That's not what I meant Mr. Dier. The only way you can wait on a person is if you know them. I've never meet you, in fact there is no way for you to seem me again, when this is our first meeting." Chi said raising her voice in an unlady like matter. She had ripped her hand away and was standing there.

Chi took a calming breath, "This place isn't even real. Its all my dream. A dream can't be real. The only people that are waiting on me is my family. Even if I can't remember who they are." This made Chi sad, she wished she remembered her family.

"Either way, there is no way I could have been here before. Even if I did lose my memory, and this place is real. Then why would I have left this place in the first place. One last thing why would you do nothing but wait on me and think about me. Why am I so important." Chi took another breath, she was confused beyond belief. It scared her, this place did. She kept forgetting it was a dream. Which she didn't think was good.

"I disagree totally. You absolutely can wait for someone you do not know. You simply do so. And you have met me, just a moment ago. So now that we have ascertained that we have met and that it is possible to wait on someone you don't know may we continue?" he countered without a hitch. He did not grab at her when she pulled away, but he did seem a little agitated that she had done so.

"A dream? I say, who says dreams can't be real? And who says you are dreaming anyway? Because if you are you are very good, because I've never learned to dream and walk at the same time," he laughed merrily.

"You have many questions. Sadly, I do not know the answers." The hatter looked rather depressed at not being able to help her. Then as if a light sparked in his mind, he bounced up again with renewed energy.

"But the Sudians might. Let us go to them. They may shed some light on your plight." He giggled to himself as he beckoned her forward.

"But if it will make the lady happy, I can tell you why I waited for you to come." Lifting his hat, Morris pulled a large yellow apple from within its depths.

"I was given a message. Yes, this very one. Right on my hat, if you can believe it. Almost dented the rim, but I was happy to note it was fine, if a little dirty." He put his hat back on and handed her the fruit. It was the same one she had reached for before falling into the rabbits hole.

Chi sighed, it was no good asking Mr. Dier anything. She could didn't see why she asked at all. She looked at the apple in her hand. "That's right I was reaching for an apple, and fell down that rabbit hole." Chi said softly.

"I'm sorry for getting angry with you Mr. Dier." Chi said passing him back the apple. "Still I don't get why you would wait on someone you have before meeting them. Though I guess I have no choice, but to go with you to Sud. I think is what you called the place we are headed to.

She had many questions, but even if she wanted to answer them. Chi wanted to go home more then finding out the answers. Sadly she didn't know if she's like those what she was going to find out. Chi had a feeling she wasn't going home for a while.

"A rabbit hole?" he chirped at hearing her thinking aloud. "How dreadful. I'm happy you aren't hurt. But wait, I haven't asked if you are! Are you, my lady? Hurt, I mean." Morris quickly grew upset, fussing with her hair, making sure there were no scrapes on her hands, or tears in her dress.

"OH no!" he cried hysterically. "Look what that rabbit's hole has done to you," he announced. Holding up the hem of her dress, he pointed out a little fraying of thread, the starting of a hole.

"I keep telling them to keep their doorwaysopenandnicebutdotheylistenno

He had finished his rant when he bent over and snipped the thread with a small set of scissors from his pocket and stood back to see his work.

"No harm, my lady. T'was a small n** to fix. On now to Sud! I shall tell those rabbits off when I next see them," he abruptly declared. With a slight turn, he headed to the left of their original pathway.

(sorry, I know the rantings look a little funny, bunched as they are, but if I let them go on in one strand as I intended the post looks all stretched with a big gap. Grar. Hope you don't mind. And hope his rantings in general aren't weirding you out lol)

"Mr. Dier was that really necessary now," Chi asked with a blush across her face. "Well none the less thank you." She stared at the ground. Her hands where clasped together in front of her. Still she was embarrassed, not one had ever cared if she was okay or not. "Mr. Dier, I though you knew all the best people are mad."

Another smile graced her face. A kind old lady had told her that years ago. The kind old lady wasn't all in her head, but she helped Chi after she lost her memories. Chi would never forget her, after all she was all Chi had. Even if she passed away, Chi still had a place in her heart for her.

"Its really wasn't the rabbit's fault though, it was more mine. I wanted the silly apple. I should have walk around, but it was the only one I could have reached."

Chi bowed her head again, so either she hit her head so hard that she was dreaming, or that this whole place was real. Either way it did make her head hurt thinking about it. Lifting her head to the back of her head. Sure enough there was a knot there. "Just a bump, I've had worse." The last fall did make her lose all her memories after all.

"Nonetheless, my lady. Nonetheless. Those rabbits should have been prepared," he chided the air as he walked. "They should know better than to let apples dangle above their doorways."

The hatter stopped frozen at hearing her words. Slowly he turned and looked at her wide-eyed. His hat tilted to the side awkwardly.

"A bump, you say?" Taking a long stride, he brought himself to face her, only inches parting them. "A bump is a dreadful thing. They do not like the daylight. They only play in the dark. We must hurry if you have a bump. Hurry!"

The more he spoke, the more erratic he became, going from a fast walk to walking back to hurry her pace, to going behind her and pushing slightly on her shoulders. In the end he decided it was best not to encourage the bump, so picked her up bridal style and whisked off down the lane, leaves flying up in the air from his stride. His coat tails bounced up and hit his legs and his hat bounced with each step he took, repositioning it on his head each time.

(I giggled while writing this. I was reminded of the saying," things that go bump in the night." I was like, WORD PLAY! Seems like a fun bad habit the hatter has. Misunderstanding by misinterpreting the meanings of words and phrases. I find that I do that sometimes in real life. People don't like it very much tho. lol oh well)

"Mr. Dier really there is no need for this." She decided not to say anything else about the bump on the back of her head. Everything she said would just get twisted. Her face was a bright shade of red, as she hide it behind her hands. "I can't believe this is happening." Chi muttered very softly as she took a deep breath.

She looked up at him, "If you don't slow down you'll lose your hat." Hoping this would distract the mad person carrying her, she reached up fixing the hat on his head. "Please slow down it would be a same if you where to lose such a wonderful hat."

Chi felt kinda bad, she wasn't playing fair. Then again this world wasn't her own. So she didn't know the rules. "Mr. Dier if you don't slow down, and let me down. I fear you might trip, and not only lose your hat, but get a bump on your head as well. Then who will make the hats."

((Foxi I don't think anyone can make me laugh so much, and still keep me on track. At the same time. Hope you don't mind Chi doesn't play to fair, then again not even I know the rules of Wonderland.))

"Y-yes. It is wonderful, isn't it?" he concurred as she righted the hat. He hadn't noticed, but his pace had slowed to almost a complete stop as he felt her fixing the bouncing fabric that had been so close to toppling. So many had turned to parasols, they had made him lose his trade. The thought made his face turn sad.

Setting Chi back on her feet gently, he bowed low. The sadness lined his faltering smile.

"Please forgive me, dear lady. I have overstepped my boundaries. It was uncalled for that I should handle you so roughly. And your kindness is generously bestowed upon this once great hatter. I do not deserve it."

Righting himself, Morris tilted his head slightly with a small smile in an attempt to look less troubled. His hat teetered slightly, but stayed where it was.

"It would be fearful indeed to get a bump. How on earth could I manage to wear my hat with it?" he wondered. "But I'm sure that my hat would protect me from bumps, just as surely as it protects me from noogles."

(Goddess I love posting this guy. Noogles. Honestly, where do I come up with this stuff? If you hadn't guessed noogles is one letter from noogies, so yea. It makes sense that his hat would protect him from them now huh? lmao And I don't know the rules, I just make them up as I go along. >.<)

"No harm done Mr. Dier." Chi said with a bright smile. "There is no need for you to ask to be forgiven you already have." Chi was happy to be back on the ground now. She wasn't scared of heights, but that didn't mean she liked them.

"Thank you for caring though Mr Dier." With that said Chi gave a small curtsy. She felt rather bad now by the look on his face. She reached up and patted him on the shoulder given him a sweet smile.

"Your a hatter, Mr. Dier I'm sure you'll think of some way to wear your hat even with a bump on your head. For now though lets worry about not getting a bump on your head shall we. I mean I still have to get back home. How would I do that if the only person I know in this world wasn't able to help me."

Chi wondered how long she had been here. Even how long she had been unconscious on the ground. She had an idea to get a somewhat proper answer. "Mr Dier how long where you waiting on me exactly."

((Lol I'm glad your having fun))

User Image"Why isn't there anybody around and unbusy today?" A girl huffed, folding her arms across her chest. She sat alone in the woods, her feet propped up against the long rectangular table in front of her. Her black rabbit ears twitched upon her head, listening to the forest around her as she muttered to herself. "I would have a wonderful party if people would just come…" Suddenly, one of her ears twitched left, pointing to the east. Perking at the sound, Freya grinned widely as she recognized one of the voices. "Maybe they'll come to my tea party!" Dashing off, she wound through the undergrowth until she could clearly hear their voices.

"But I'm sure that my hat would protect me from bumps, just as surely as it protects me from noogles."
"I mean, I still have to get back home."

She couldn't help but to comment on the last thing the other girl had said. "What? You're leaving? So soon? And I wanted to invite you to a tea party…" Her brown hair framed her face as she parted the bushes in front of her. Black rabbit ears drooped as her faced displayed an oncoming pout and sadness. "Please don't leave yet! I really wanted someone to come to a tea party of mine…" She begged the silvery-blonde girl, stepping out of the bushes as she did so. Brown blue eyes grew wide and moist as she looked at the girl. "Please?"

Chi jumped back when she heard a voice come from the bushes. With out realizing it she wrap both arms around one of Mr. Dier's arms. She quickly hid behind him quick scared. Her nerves where back, and she was scared. "I'm sorry, but I have to go home..I um people are waiting for me there." Well if they didn't catch her lie then it said so much about this place. She though as she hid behind Mr. Dier.

Chi was hiding behind Mr. Dier like she had the kind old lady when she was younger. She took a glance who the voice came from. It was a girl looking around her own age. "P-please d-don't be sad, I'm really sorry. If I didn't have to find a way home I would come."

Chi looked up at Mr. Dier for help. Her eyes begging for him to help her as she looked back at the girl. Chi hated not knowing what to do. She felt the urge to run again, like she always did when she meet a new person.

Biting her lip as she hid behind Mr. Dier again. Still holding onto his arm. 'I just want to go back home where no one talks to me.' Chi was lonely back home, but she was safe. Content even in her small home by herself. Here in this world nothing like hers, she was scared. She couldn't stop her legs from shaking again.

The tension flowed from Morris's body, his smile back and bright as before.

"Thank you, my lady." Shrugging his shoulders, the hatter had no idea how she would manage to fin her home when she does not even know where it is.

Before he could answer her question about his waiting for her, black ears appeared from within the bushes and a familiar voice begged their presence at her tea party. In the time it took for him to turn and prepare a proper reply, Chi had fastened herself to his arm.

"My dear you are quicker than a door mouse with a pincushion," he mused as she told the rabbit she had to get home.

"However, we must not be rude. It is only proper that we stop by if for only a moment or two, since we were invited so graciously. Besides," he explained while looking down at Chi, who cowered behind him like a small child.

"I am quite thirsty after having waited for you," he finished softly. "We need not stay long," the hatter said quietly so only Chi could hear. "Come now, miss Freya. Please lead the way."

Holding her hands over the crook of his arm, Morris lead Chi along, letting her stay behind him if she chose while offering a small bit of comfort. He could sense her unease, but knew that the best thing for nervousness is to just do the thing that you are afraid to do.

(awe Chi is xenophobic? well Morris will cure that one in a jiffy. lol yay!! Sai is the rabbit!! I totally called it. . . now all we need is Ace to play the Cheshire cat. lmao)

Chi frowned knowing Mr. Dier was right. "You still haven't told me how long you waited." She muttered still clinging to his arm. She wasn't hiding anymore, but still walk close to him.

"I guess I have no choice, but to trust you Mr. Dier." Even if Chi didn't want to she knew it might be her only way of getting home. She didn't want to be rude after all, the girl had invited them so it was only polite.

'Mr. Dier is right we don't have to stay for long, and it is the right thing to do.' Chi told this to herself over, and over. Yet she still had the urge to start running, and never look back.

'I wish I could stop shaking.' She thought to herself as they walked. "I've never been to a tea party before." Chi said out loud trying to be nice and start conversation. She look up at Mr. Dier again.

"I hope I'm not hurting you." She said in a soft voice as she blushed. She was scared, but happy he was letting her hold his arm. Chi hadn't really like at his clothing until now. "You cloths are interesting that for sure."

User ImageA wide grin spread across her face faster than the white rabbit could say 'I'm late'. "Yay! Thank you thank you thankyouthankyouthankyou, Morris!" Freya jumped with glee, nearly tackling the man in a hug. She refrained, however, noting that the poor girl was hiding behind him. "Alright! This way then!" Jabbing a finger into the air, she marched straight back into the bushes where she'd come from. If she'd used the road, who knew when they were going to get back to her tea party? And by then, the girl probably would've figured out how to get home, wherever her home was. Then that would just kill her day! Not to mention the tea party too.

"I believe this makes it over the 9000th time that I told you to not be so formal with me, Hatter. For the 9000 and 1th time, just Freya is fine." she scolded Morris lightly, almost skipping as she went through the forest. "And where are my manners? I'm Freya, who might you be, dear?" she turned around to face the scared girl, going a bit slower as she had to walk backwards, but nevertheless not tripping over the undergrowth. Before she had gotten her answer, however, she heard the girl's comment.

"What? Never been to a tea party before? That's absurd!! You must come now! How could you never have been to a tea party before and still not want to go to one? Come, we mustn't dally then!" Freya gasped, an expression of shock crossing her face before turning back around and almost sprinted back to the tea party table. "Really now, why haven't your parents ever taken you one? He who hasn't gone to a tea party has never lived! Well, now I guess I've been placed with even more… well, now I must make this the best!" she rambled on, stopping to beckon them to follow her, hurry up, this way, things like that.

His hand patted Chi's lightly, the hatter thought a mere second before responding," Forgive me, my lady. I get a bit sidetracked from time to time. I believe I waited a little more than two tea times." He blushed after admitting this, but turned his face away to look at Freya as she bounced around and lead them to her tea set.

"Sorry miss Freya. I can't help it. Ladies should be addressed properly," he explained with a smile. "Though I do like reaching milestones. Has it really been 9000 already?" His face took on a dream-like state as he stared ahead of them. "Why, I remember when you told me that it was the 2000th time. Do you remember that day?"

Noting the tension that coursed along her ridged form, the hatter rubbed Chi's hand with his free one, hoping to calm her. As the rabbit made an attempt to introduce herself, he realized Chi was shaking and held her hand more firmly.

"It really is alright, my lady. Miss Freya is not one the rabbits that didn't clean their doors. Her door is always clear, isn't that right miss Freya?" he tried to sooth her. Morris had no idea why she seemed so petrified, but thought it might be due to Freya being a rabbit and her being lost.

(I dare you to say he reached that milestone the day before Sai. That would make it soo hilarious!! 7000 times in one day!! Imagine! >.< and I purposely didn't respond about Chi mentioning his clothes, or her not having experienced a tea party. I wanted to give you guys time to respond. Too much at once!! lol ok not really)
