Option III: Omi whooping their asses before they get sent to their second round.

Otherwise, Option II, with our current fight results released at least today.

Option 1 I don't see the point in overcomplicating...

The Crossed Fox
I choose option 1, surprisingly enough.

I'm all for fairness, but in this situation, each scenario is fair. The characters in question showed up to their fight with an absolute willingness to make it a good one. The problem is that the characters they were paired up against were not as gracious or dedicated to the match at hand.

Because of this, like any tournament - both real and fake - the man/woman who showed up to their fight without being late or breaking any rules, is granted an automatic passing to the next round. This is also known as "Winning by Default".

It would make things much more smooth as well, in terms of tourny flow. We all start at the same time, we all end at the same time. That way there aren't a few extra days tacked on to the judgments either, which would make us all wait an extra unnecessary amount of time.

: D

Actually, I heavily agree with Fox on this one. If someone wins become their opponent forfeited their spot then it's a win. In past GTBs, people who didn't have an opponent or had one who didn't show up either advanced or got a bye, and getting a bye is basically like winning anyways.

Plus, look at option two and then look at your Round 1 match, then tell me how many posts you and your opponent strung up in two days. The majority of you probably didn't get past the five-post mark, and some of you want these three guys to make a Judge-able fight in two days and ten posts. It's not going to happen.

Let's not waste time and just remind ourselves that we'll probably be seeing forfeits in almost every round of the tournament.

Option 1.

Option 1

I'm itching for results, and seriously, like Cael said, they're either gonna win or lose anyways, all option 2 does is give someone outside the already decided upon roster a chance to get in the tournament.

I vote Option 2

I think over all fairness is needed we shouldn't get lazy on such things.

I don't care either way, so unless a judge threatens me with something, I'm just not gonna vote.

I just want this to move along smoothly, so if a judge comes after me, I'll vote option 1, otherwise, no vote.
