He couldn't count how many times he went down the slide, by passing Ily and laughing at the same time. Not like it was roaring laughter, oh no. Just a little hehe and a hoho here and there.
That is, until Roman saw Elisabetta standing off to the side, her beach bag thrown over her shoulder. She was just smiling, not saying anything as she watched him play. It was so rare that she didn't want to spoil the moment. "Roman? It's time to go."
For a moment he was confused. He looked up at Ily and frowned before looking back to Lissy.

Ily paused from the top of the slide as Roman suddenly stopped. Strange... It wasn’t till she looked over and saw the girl standing off to the side that she finally understood. “Guess it’s time for you to go...” she muttered, also seeing Damon standing farther back by the fence. He wasn’t actively watching her, which meant she had a few more minutes to say good-bye hopefully. “We can play another time,” she added with a smile. Sure the boy wasn’t talkative and said only a few words, but she still considered him a friend. Then again, she considered a lot of people her friend...

It wasn't like he wanted to go. The fun was just starting! But the way that Lissy kept looking at him made him irritable again. Couldn't she find something else to look at? Roman turned back to Ily, half his wings cocked up and the others drooping. He nodded, passing her a little fangy smile and a quick wave before going back to his sister.
She looke down at him, then back to the little girl and waved. "See? That wasn't so bad, was it."
Roman huffed.
