The boy shuffled a foot lightly, knowing quite well he should have known better. But he never followed through. He knew she didn't like it when he wandered off, but he did it anyway, because things where more interesting away from his mother. Or tended to be. He was becoming used to this scolding, or would soon. Though it was better to look sheepish, and listen than to fight back too much. Raja wasn't too harsh accept when he scared her.
Of course he didn't expect what happened next, neither did his mum. Both sets of eyes turned to stare at the green skinned boy as he spoke up. Now Keanu hadn't known Nero very long, but that seemed out of character. Considering it had been Keanu's idea, and he knew it. "Excuse me?" Came the confused voice of Raja, much calmer than before. "I think you might be confused, I'm rather certain that this... It something Keanu would gladly do..." She said quietly, glancing at her own child who was rather astonished as well. She looked at the man as he appologized, shaking her head. "I'm pretty sure Keanu would have done this with, or without his help." She replied, shaking her head a bit, and glancing down to make sure the boy hadn't tried to run off. "Yes, I'm going to leave the rest of this for when we get home, Keanu." She replied, catching the boys hand, and quickly turning. She was going to go now. That was that.
Keanu felt the other quickly snag his hand before he could reply to the other, or have a chance to thank him for trying to protect him from his rather frazzled mother. She was like that whens he was worried. Raja had never really been angry, just paniced. Kind of like Nero had been. He tottered after his mum, choosing to remain silent as the pair made their way toward the front with the cashiers. Obviously shopping was over for today. Or now anyway. Hooboy... He was deffinitely in for it when they got home. No fishies tonight...
