Yeah, and it's almost.... well, I don't really count. A while, since I broke up with my last girlfriend and she convinced the school councilors that I was a cannibalistic sociopath with ill designs toward the student body. neutral
Then we moved!

I feel lucky with the whole significant other situation. My love and I just celebrated our 3 year anniversary. We went to the beach. biggrin

Mike and I are celebrating today, as yesterday was too hectic, and he ended up having a shift, as it were.
We are going to Daiso, this Japanese Dollar Tree-like chain, but they sell adorable and crazy things such as felt panda coasters, ghost-shaped glow sticks, et cetera. Next to that is a sushi place I dig, and next to THAT is the first place I ever consumed boba. :3

I hate how any person with a genuine interest in Asian culture has to put forth all the extra effort to differentiate themself from the ******** anime fans who misuse Japanese terminology and immediately jump onto any bandwagon whose driver happens to be drawn with abnormally large eyes. I have no problem with anime itself, nor manga, but the stupid people who ruin it for everyone else, I do have a problem with.
That said, there's this really neat store at the mall I live by (and don't ever go to, just to piss off my demographic classification) called 'Asian Gifts.' I like that name. Anyway, they have some pretty cool trinkets and dodads. They even have a wall of swords, which makes me happy and attracts a shitload of adolescent-to-lower-twenties alpha male solicitors that would never have looked there otherwise.
They have neat clothes, too.
I bet that store would be so much cooler if I ever had money.

We have stores like that but they're called Silkroad Gallery. They sell lots of weapons and a good amount of anime stuff (plushies/posters/etc). The employees are kinda pushy and creepy though.

I understand where Jack is coming from, ******** weeaboo's and their shallow interest in manga and anime have propelled it into a state where Bleach and Naruto (both mediocre but would be ok time killers if it weren't for their goddamn popularity) are all you can find.... and then ones I do like (Deathnote) get taken out of context and butchered by the american public. Yagami-kun is a sadistic b*****d who deserved what he got, not a kawaii-desu nekko-chan (never mind that chan is derogatory when used to a male.)
And then the good ones, the ones that are impossible to ruin (fist of the north star, Macross, Bubblegum crisis) never get a proper U.S> release so i have to mod my ps2 to play the games and download shitty fansubs(while risking arrest for piracy becasue even though they never use it, companies do have the liscences for these shows.... well we did get Bubblegum and Macross but teh plot was totally different and the spliced scenes and plot points out of context)
FUUUUUUUUUUCK.

I'm so sick of Death Note. It gets the exact same popularity that Bleach and Naruto do. I liked them better when I knew about them before America did. I hate to sound like that, but I started reading Naruto before the craze and same with Death Note.
I don't even really read manga or watch anime anymore. I'm so done with that phase and it's just so over popular now that I can't stand it. Also, my I don't have enough of an attention span to watch anime. I am collecting certain manga series though. The one I am looking for is very hard to find now.
Nyzz: Pink can probably explain it better, but boba is a tea or fruit drink with these little balls at the bottom. Idk what they're made out of but I don't find them tasty at all.
Wow. Somehow you guys managed to get more than one sentence out of me today...

Have I mentioned that your posting style is very much like the Wandering Stranger from Fallout? you show up, shoot and kill everything in one shot (one post) and poof, gone.
also if you can find it, I would reccomed JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series 3 and the cannonball run series. (each series is in a different contenuity. kinda like Final fantasy.)
