Bree nodded a bit. Moreso from the fact she felt empending doom that she was about to get in trouble.
She hoisted herself from the little pool, tail automatically trying to dry itself as she emurged, giving alittle spray.
But it was too late.
Jekel had run out of words... he couldn't figure out how to get across 'You have no right to tell us what to do so leave before i kick your a**.'
So he went with showing the bully. He grabbed the other's arm, sinking his rows of jagged teeth into the soft flesh of the boy.
Bree's eyes widened as a cloud of bleed suddenlly filled the area around her child, she jumped into the water, foot hitting the concrete at an awkward angle due to the shallow nature of the area the children were in. There was too much adrenalin focused on saving this other boy's arm to notice at the moment.
The side of her hand hit the side of the boy's face, where his "gils" were located. Of course she didn't hurt him too much... She'd allready learned the variation of strength needed to get him off.
Jekel immediatly let go as he was hit, flinching a bit and automatically retreating back a few steps. Leaving the other boy with a fairly deep gash, instead of a hole in his arm.

Pain. The bully was instantly screaming as the teeth sunk easily into his fragile skin, the children in the pool all scattering out and fleeing to their parents. The red filling the pool and the screaming child had easily frightened them away.. And immediately Nero was on the edge, claws tightening together. His tail curled into the defensive position, as if he were ready to strike, his eyes darting about anxiously. He kicked it into reverse, swimming backward.
Axel was immediately in the pool, scooping up his child from behind and beginning to hoist him up out of the water. Nero struggled for a moment, panicking for a mere second, his claws sinking into the older male's arms and his tail beginning to strike. His guardian flinched, "Owch, hey now. Easy, Nero. Easy. You're okay." The scorpion looked up at him nervously, and then let go and relaxed. Axel frowned a bit when he noticed he was bleeding, but focused more on getting his charge out of the pool for now.
The child was sobbing after he was released, clasping his arm close to him as blood continued to cloud around him. He was at the steps in a second and running to find his mom, droplets of blood staining the tile beneath him.

Jekel's eyes seemed to glaze over, an almost animalistic stare. He slipped under the water, only to be snatched up by Bree.
Bree grabbed ahold of the boy, he didn't look right... Probably the blood. Some sort of feeding frenzy she DIDN'T want to happen. She was quickly dragigng him from the water, then promptly tucking him under one arm. Grabbing their bag and bolting out the door.
Best thing to do was flee the scene of the crime. Afterall... she had no idea how to explain this. Nor did she want to deal with that other kid's parents threatning her child.
She could hear it now... 'That monster is a menace! it should be killed'
Then she'd end up with her own fight... Except she could go to jail.
She set jekel down on the carseat, moving to be eye level with teh now pouting boy. "Never. NEVER do that again."
"But!"
"No! You can't do that. You could have killed him."
The boy continued to sulk. "...What kill?"
Bree blinked.... Thats right... he hadn't learned that yet. She took a heard gulp, look softening as she brushed a few strands of hair from hs head. "Kill... When the people on Jaws went to "sleep", and they covered them up... and their family cried. That meant Jaw's had killed them. And that was bad." She only received a confused look "Because when you're dead your friends and faily can't play with you anymore. And wouldn't you be really sad if you could never see Yeesha or Nero again?"
Jekel's eyes widened as he nodded vigorously. "B..But, I see them again right?!" he got a paniced look.
Bree nodded "Yes yes, ofcourse... But if you had killed that boy, then his friends wouldn't have seen him again."
"He shouldn't have friends.." Jekel frowned.
Bree sighed a bit "That's not the point sweetie..."

Axel trotted towards them from behind, Nero and their floaty in tow. The young man stopped at Bree's side, "Hey, you two okay? I brought your floaty." He set down his child first, in a delicate manner, minding the gashes the boy's claws had left on his arms. The scorpion child shied away, looking guiltily down at the floor. His father had already explained what hurting another person meant and how they could die- that's why he had to be careful with his stinger. And he had hurt his guardian. He didn't really care about the bully, though- that boy had bugged the two. He deserved to get hurt. Not to die, but to get hurt.
Axel handed over the flotation device before finally taking a look at his arms. "Damn.. Look at that." He snorted a bit and gave a shake to his head. Sure, it wasn't even close to as deep as the bully's wound probably was, but he never expected his timid boy inflicting such a wound. He gave a low whistle before moving to peer in at the shark child. "What was that all about?"
He was unable to get a clear answer from Nero, who was stuttering like crazy, so he was hoping he'd get it from one of these two.

Bree smiled softly as the two came over, taking the floatie to just toss into the car carelessly. Like all her other possssions. "We're fine." her mind noted that her ankle was a tad sore. But she paid it no heed.
She gave a frown to Axel's wound. Then looked back to jekel "Yes, what DID happen?"
Jekel snorted and crossed his arms "He called us a freak and told us what to do and and he grabbed nero..." Okay so that would have been more effective if one of them had actually been hit. "We asked him to go away but he didn't. I didn't bite him right off! I tried!" he leaned foreward, hoping to get some sort of praise out of that little fact. Afterall... that'd taken like everything he had not to just attack right off.

"That's good. You stumbled a bit when you jumped into the pool- you gotta be careful when jumping in where it's shallow..." Axel's eyes turned curiously back to Jekel, brows arching as he listened to the story. "He was bullying you around, huh?" He shot a momentary glance at Bree.. He was a bit overprotective of Nero, and was happy Jekel was there to keep the bullying from going too far. He even wanted to praise the shark boy, for that reason along with the natural approval for violence men seemed to have, but... He also knew that women most of the time wouldn't approve of him praising such behavior, so... He'd have to hold back. Too bad. "Well..." He straightened, folding his arms over his chest. "Thanks for watching out for Nero, Jekel." He could give that much- and he didn't call him Simon, either.. "But... You should be careful not to hurt anyone right off.. You could end up killing someone.. See.." He showed his bleeding arm. "You know what blood is, right? Well, everyone has blood in them and when they lose too much then they get really tired. Then they fall asleep and they never, ever wake up again no matter what." He was guessing that Bree had already told the boy, but he thought a visual aid might help.
Nero was shuffling around sheepishly off to the side, glancing towards them from the corner of his eye, claws hooked behind him. He hadn't meant to cause any trouble, really... He popped in after a few second. "Th-tha' b-boy w-w-was re-reawwy mean! J-Jekel d-did th-tha ri-right thing!" He had to stand up for his friend.

Bree relxed alittle bit... It seemed as though alot worse could have happend if Jekel hadn't stood up to him. So in a way.. she was proud. And fairly violent herself...
But encouraging a shark to be violent wasn't really a good idea. Not at this age anyways. "Axel is right." She paused to smile slightly at the poor little stuttering boy trying to stick up for Jekel. "Well, there are alot better things to do. But I'm proud you had good intentions Simon. But you could have came and gotten me, or axel. And we can take care of it without anyone getting hurt."
She paused a moment, deciding to add somethign else. "But... If someone hurts you first, you can defend yourself. Not hurting them more, but getting away from them. Or if they won't let you go only hurting them enough to get away. No biting," She paused to look at teh scorpion "Or stinging..." back to jeckel "You just have to know your own strength."
Jekel blinked a bit, nodding slowly to the burst of information. He guessed that made sense....
He didn't want to kill anyone afterall. He could.. try that if it happend again. The boy nodded slowly, "Okay.... I try."

Axel nodded at what Bree had to say, motioning for his child to come over. Nero looked uncertain, but slowly shuffled his way to his guardian's side. He earned a hair-ruffle. Both turned their eyes back to Bree to listen as she finished her speech after a moment or so- Axel had to show the child he wasn't upset.
"I-I d-didn't st-sting nobody...!" Nero felt the need to note to the adults, looking down towards his stinger. "D-don't want nobody t-to 'spwode." The talk he'd had with Axel had been about poison, and how it made people bloat up and die. Sure, so Nero thought that meant they exploded, but atleast he wouldn't sting anyone. Consciously, that is. A lot of the time his tail seemed to have a mind of its own.
"'Course you didn't." He got another hair-ruffle. Axel looked now towards the other two, smiling warmly. "Well, guess we'd better head our seperate ways... But we should meet up again sometime. Nero and I were gonna hit the beach in a few days, you two wanna tag along?" Nero frowned some, wondering if the beach was scary.

Explode? "I know, I'm sure we would have noticed if you had." She smiled, helping Jekel get buckled into the seat. "Sounds good... Thanks." she offered a smile.
Jekel leaned out of the car to wave "Beach! Yea! Can we go?"
"Ofcourse."
"YES."
Bree laughed a bit, shutting Jekel's door. "I guess we'll see you then." She slipped a kiss to the males cheek, then waved, and hopped into the drivers seat.
