Momo nodded. "That sounds best," she said. She felt a bit better, since it seemed that the lioness didn't seem so hopeless. She hoped that she had been a part of that! Even just a little bit.
"I hope everything goes well," she said, still unsure about the past tense of how she talked about the male, but keeping it obscure meant that perhaps she would feel better with a friend to lean on. Momo could only hope, as she would probably know the outcome of this little meeting.

Kina hesitated about turning to go, looking at Momo thoughtfully. While it didn't seem exactly like she had done much, just by listening, Momo had been a big help. Kina did not necessarily feel better but she understood better. Jino wasn't much to talk to about things like this and he certainly might have tried but it was better this way.
"Thank you," she said finally, then turned around to go back to where she had left Jino.

Momo nodded, but she didn't think it would be wise to say more. What was done was done. At least she felt better, and the mysterious green lioness seemed more calm.
She turned to return home, ready to just spend the rest of the day drenched in shade and the comforts of home.
