Pyrrhic Faith What about a thread for any contests that we do? Banner making contests/ava contests (themed) I unno, stuff like that! ^-^' And maybe something for upcoming events in the gay community...marches...parades, stuff like that. Or news for the gay community ^^' any steps forward that are taken..storys.-shrugs- Just an idea for y'all ^-^ Well,, we can make an events thread o_O' however announcements would probably handle anything from contests or guild related activities. NadiaM The Chit-Chat thread could be The Lounge, maybe? 'The Lounge' seems too similar to the Bar title we're using for the RP.. hmm.. however we would need a proper name for the 'chit chat' thread. If you have any other possible names maybe we can consider them if Vague approves the idea of having a 'chit chat' thread.

In some places a bar and a lounge exist together as seperate areas. The lounge is more relaxed, or in this case does not have role playing.
I am petty sure our members are intelligentenough to be able to tell the difference between the two. 3nodding

You're right, but I'm mainly worried about the confusion of both.. methinks on the topic of each we should put a short description to try and rectify that confusion?

I have a bunch of links I could probably send you, actually. I made speech on the subject of gay acceptence in schools a couple of years ago...and I think I still have links to most of the sites I used for research.

This is going to play right into the whole bastardization of homosexuality through media thing, but I want to start up a fab five. We could charge a fee for avatar makeovers.

Since non-members can't post in the guild, we'd probably have the set it up in the Gaia Commerce forum, assuming a test run was successful here. Perhaps part of the profits could be put into the guild account.

We could either do edits or have like a minimum make-over fee and then go buy them new clothes (the items) and dress 'em up. I think it'd be fun.
