Yea, that was really nice. A good show on Gaia's part to not seem entirely corporate, the way a lot of the events and story lines and whatnot have implied lately.

That's what I was thinking! I agree it in itself doesn't always load, but it's usually not so slow to annoy me, and it never effects anything else, so I just don't see what the problem is. I like the footer and hope they leave it alone.

Yea I was thinking that too, apparently forgot to say it. I don't think they need to change it though, there are more pressing areas to work on. Just hide or no hide, whatever. I mean you can already hide it now so even that really doesn't seem to be necessary, unless it actually is slowing the site down, but I've never noted any evidence of that.

Well yea you have the arrows but come on, it's just little arrows. Who cares?

Exactly! Just like I am so used to the footer I ignore it most of the time unless I need something on it. I'll try not to care too much if they do mess with it though.

Yea I agree, the last time I uploaded something to DA I was so annoyed. I haven't really used my account a lot lately, been in a bit of a slump, so it hasn't been too bothersome. But yea definitely don't like most of the changes there. Even so I do get used to him, still doesn't make transition anymore fun.

Oh the only thing I hate is that I didn't used to have to select a print option for uploads. I don't have to on text still, but on my comics I do, that is slightly irritating.

And that's true, I had that same setting and I was wondering why I had to click again now, and sometimes the upload setting doesn't even load which is annoying.

And yea, that might be annoying, I don't watch too many people though and they rarely all upload at the same time so most of that isn't a problem for me. But yea, can't say those are very good changes.

Yea, I hadn't uploaded anything in a long time though so I noticed everything at once. Which made it even more aggravating. And I've never been able to skip it!! It won't let me!!! Or maybe it didn't before and now it does? Again it's now been another while since I've uploaded, mostly because I was so frustrated with having to deal with that.

Yea the only time I get near 30 (usually haven't gone past 20ish) it's always just one guy who uploads a bunch of his paintings at once. Other than you and Karma there are only 3 people I watch who upload even semi-regularly, and it's usually only a couple things at a time (aside from that painter). So yea, I'm not even close to overwhelmed. I usually only get 2 - 3 a day. I wish my favorite artist would upload more often. That'd be swell.

Ok, I think I've hit that and it's told me I have to select a print option to continue. And I don't think I've uploaded much since the last time I had to deal with that so maybe it's gone now. I hope so, I really hate that, and it's unnecessary for me and what I upload.

Also, while on DA, what are points? Are they like Gaia cash, do you buy them? Or do you earn them? And either then sending weird cyber gifts to people, do they have any point (heh, point to the points, pun!! *dies*)?

Oh I don't think I'd get overwhelmed either since I can get through art pretty quickly, I just haven't found too many artists I want to watch. Never really got very involved in DA though, it was more just a base to dump some of my work and I had a friend on there. Mainly though, I made the account to look at stuff that was rated M. Same reason I made my Youtube account. A good reason for me to make a lot of accounts. xd
