 Rui finally averted his eyes to his paws as she spoke. She did have a point, the moon was there for a reason and if no one noticed it, what good was it? He frowned a little; it was beautiful. He couldn't imagine how he'd chose to miss it all this time. Picking his head up, he decided to try something new. Smiling at her, something that was foreign to him as he hardly smiled at anyone but his mother, he spoke in a more relaxed tone.
"I never saw it that way before, but I'm sort of glad I couldn't sleep tonight and chose to come out here." he closed his eyes, feeling a light breeze go by. "If I didn't, I wouldn't have met you either."
That last part surprised him, he hadn't actually thought about saying that until it was out and he blinked a few times to figure out whether or not he'd really said it. Quickly shaking off his surprise he smiled at her again. Maybe he'd have had more friends as a kit if he stopped looking down on them for not studying hard and just fooling around all the time and did what he was doing now; being nice. It made him feel like an idiot.

 Nyx watched as he averted his eyes, and for the first time since they had started talking, she shifted nervously just a little. When he smiled at her she was almost shocked and a little taken aback by it. His smile was warm and friendly, she was speechless, she didn't know what to say to him. She blushed and swallowed hard, hoping he didn't notice. She regained her composure and said ''I am very glad that you were able to see what I see." she blushed again and said "I am glad that you came because I would not have met you as well." she swallowed and shifted again, and looked at her paws. The light breeze flitted by and her fur gently moved with the wind.

Rui felt a little better. He never knew what his brothers and sister felt by playing and socializing like they did but he thought that he might have a clue now. It was a good feeling, one he couldn't exactly explain. It made him even happier that she was glad to meet him as well.
"Do you stay out all night like this, watching the moon?" he was curious now. He never did see her around in the day but he was usually busy so maybe he'd missed her around. "I like this, it's different. Life was starting to get repetitive, so I'm thankful for the slight change tonight."
It was strange that he wasn't getting sleepy, despite having woken up at dawn and it was way past his normal bedtime. Maybe because he was enjoying himself so much.

Nyx nodded, "I usually stay out quiet late, I love the night and I feel my best when in the darkness of the night. I am around during the day but I mostly move around finding places to hunt, or just adventuring." She smiled softly, her face still a little red. "I am so very glad that you like the moon as I do." she smiled again, her silver eyes brighter then before almost smiling with her.

Rui let out a big yawn; it seemed he thought too soon about not being tired yet. But he was having so much fun too, he resisted the urge to pout and casually shook off the yawn.
"Ah, I generally like to study things when I'm out and about. Knowledge is key, you know. I've never really...adventured before." he admitted, ducking his head sheepishly.

Nyx relaxed again and smiles softly, "oh? well yes knowledge is key, but you can do both. Would you like to maybe go on an adventure with me tomorrow...maybe I can show you some things that are interesting that you can learn from, and also have fun doing it as well?" she blushed softly, had she really just said that out loud? was she inviting him to spend more time with her?

Rui stifled a gasp when she'd invited him to go adventuring with her. It was nothing new, his siblings would often try to get him to come play with them and he would promptly berated them for slacking off rather than trying to learn. This time around, he was too stunned for words; he didn't know what to say. He always had secretly wanted to go play with his siblings but his pride never allowed him to, would he be able to let go and go along this time? He gulped, unsure what to do.
"I-I, uh..." he started, before shaking his head quickly to somehow try to stop himself from stuttering so badly. "I'd love to."
There, he'd finally said it and what's more was that it didn't hurt or make him upset to say it either. He grinned, something he hadn't done in a long time.

Nyx blushed and swallowed hard, when she saw him gulp. She listened to him stutter a little as she averted her eyes to the ground. She was blushing deeply and the fact that he was stuttering was really cute, made her blush more and think that he was rather attractive. She swallowed air and looked up at him, her silver eyes reflecting his gaze back at him. "I..I..am glad that you want to" she swallowed again and smiled. "I am really happy." her eyes glowed brightly as she seemed to radiate joy.

Rui was still grinning ear-to-ear, proud of himself for letting go of his pride finally and doing something with another fox. He hoped he'd enjoy this exploring, but from her happy glowing face he was almost positive he would. He noticed she seemed to be stammering a bit too when she first spoke again and he cocked his head to the side just slightly.
Suddenly he felt his face heat up and he turned the other way, hoping to hide the blush that creeped its way onto his face. Now where'd that come from? he wondered to himself, willing it to go away so he could admire how pretty she was. Wait, did he just think that? Well... she is really pretty. Her fur is amazingly beautiful and her eyes are stunning; completely captivating. He felt his face get even hotter and he wanted to groan before finally giving up and looking back at her, hoping because of his pale fur it wouldn't be too obvious.
"I...uh... want you to know that, well, you're really beautiful." he admitted quietly. He couldn't keep that sort of information to himself, he wanted to share it.

Nyx was in a very good mood, she smiled and could feel the heat warming her skin through her fur again. She swallowed and then noticed that he cocked his head and she wondered if it was because now she was stuttering a little, how did she ever let some make her loose her composure? she was flustered in a good way by this male. She just didn't want to admit that she maybe had some feelings for him. She looked up at him and caught him averting his eyes and she too, looked away, thoughts of things swarming through her head. He is so handsome... 'did I just think that? whats happening? why are all these thoughts filling my head?' I like him.... she shook her head and blushing deeply she tried desperately to push the ideas out of her head but they just keep getting louder and she just couldn't keep them in anymore, and just as she was going to open her mouth to speak Rui spoke. Her eyes got really wide the silver color expanding to fill her eye completely, "I...I..than..k..you.." she blushed but kept her gaze on him. "I..um..well there...was something..that I..uh wanted to say...to you..too...I..your..." she couldn't stop her voice from stuttering. she thought to herself, he really is handsome...so very handsome...I can't stop myself from wanting to look at him...to stare into his lovely green eyes....the green as deep as an ocean.. She shook her head again and looking at him she said "well I um well...I think your really handsome...I can't help from wanting to look at you...or to stare into your lovely green eyes...a green so rich and deep it seems like an ocean.." she blushed darkly and averted her eyes. her tail tense her fur standing on end as if the kinetic energy was making it do so.

Rui stared at her, taking in how pretty she was while she stuttered. When he was a kit, he'd find that funny in other foxes; how could they not be able to talk right he'd always thought. Now he knew why, but he didn't mind and he sure didn't feel at all like making fun of Nyx. Waiting patiently for her to finish speaking, his smile grew bigger and bigger as he realized exactly what she was saying. Never in his wildest dreams would he imagine she'd think the same way so soon.
"Ah, um...thank you." All of a sudden an idea popped into his head and he inched just a bit closer to her and wrapping his tail around her. It was a bold move, but he didn't mind. "It's getting a bit chilly out."

Nyx blushed deeply and bit her lip, why am I thinking this so soon? how can this one male make me so nervous, yet feel this deep throbbing in my heart? I have never felt like this before..this is so new to me.. she sighed softly to herself. She looked up at him again, bringing her gaze back onto him. When he spoke she smiled softly and tried very hard to keep her emotions in check. She nodded and when he spoke again she said "yes It is, isn't it?" she looked towards the clear night sky, the stars so very bright in the darkness. She then felt warmth beside her, Rui had come and wrapped his tail around her, he was so warm and he had a very pleasing scent. She blushed at his forwardness but what very happy at the same time she relaxed and nuzzled into him her own tail flicking softly, touching his back. She didn't have the words to say how she felt at that moment because of the little emotion explosion that had just happened, but it was nice just to be next to him.

Rui felt her nuzzle into him ever so slightly and his face grew hot again. He liked her warmth, and felt more at ease when she didn't move away or get upset at his bold move. Her tail flicked, touching him and he smiled.
Letting out a soft sigh, he was completely content though he hadn't a clue what to say at the moment so he chose to look up at the night sky.(( OoC: Ah, bit o' writers block. Not sure where to go with this from here xD Throw some ideas at me! Should we go to morning? ))
