Ƈhiara ѠistChiara raised her eyebrows slightly at Anna's answer, but didn't press for further details. Knowing the Ravenclaw, she could be thinking about near anything. But if she remembered correctly, the girl had come a bit gloomy into Charms...but the blonde merely forced this out of her mind, attempting to not get into someone else's buisness that night. So rather than shooting the other sixth year a knowing look, she kept the cheerful smile on her face.
"Thanks, you look good yourself," she responded cheerily. Well, she sort of looked good. Slightly messy, though she supposed by the end of the night everyone would be messy, along with drunk. Speaking of drunk... "You mind?" Chiara asked, inclining her head towards the Fire Whiskey bottle in Anna's hand. Without waiting for an answer, however, she took the bottle and refilled her shot glass before handing it back. The Gryffindor downed it, the burning in her throat now more dulled than before.
It was then she noted the fellow Gryffindor eyeing Anna. It was only for a quick moment, but it was enough to make her want to snicker, seeing as she was quite close to the 'tipsy' stage already. Chiara raised her hand and waved it at the boy. "Ea!" she called, ignoring the fact he was usually pretty antisocial. But hell, he was at a party for Pete's sake. If need be, she'd quickly force him into a crowd of people. But, just to be sure, Chiara stood, grabbed Ea's hand, and dragged him over to the stairs. "You're not standing in the corner bored all night," she said to him as her only explaination for her actions. xx xx

Angelica gladly poured Seamus another shot after he gestured that he would like one more. After his shot was poured, Morgan took the bottle and did two shots in quick succession. Angelica wasn't sure if Morgan's...condition...had any impact on alcohol's affect on her, but if she kept drinking so much so quickly she would surely feel something soon. Not bothering to dwell on the thought for more than a moment, Angelica eyed the row of shot glasses on the table and filled them again. This time she recapped the bottle of Firewhiskey and placed it farther back on the table. She did her third shot of the night and shook her head slightly as she swallowed the alcohol. That stuff felt like it got stronger each time she drank more. Finally getting around to answering his question, Angelica glanced at Seamus, who was looking her over. Angelica: 2. Anastacia: 0. Smiling up at him, she replied, "I'm wonderful. I never really liked Firewhiskey, but it's certainly hitting the spot tonight, isn't it?" She took a sip of her other drink, almost draining the cup.
Noticing that he didn't have a cup in hand, Angelica asked, "Would you like to come with me and get more punch, Seamus? It's very good." She looked between Seamus and Morgan, before looking down into Morgan's cup. "Would you like some more, too, Morgan? Punch, right?" Without waiting for an answer, Angelica picked up the redhead's cup in her free hand and waited for Seamus's response. She would go alone if need be, but she would rather have the company. Unfortunately, Seamus appeared to have lost interest in her, and was glancing around the room as if looking for someone else. Not to be deterred, Angelica decided to go get the punch alone. She brushed past Seamus, looking up at him out of the corner of her eye. She disappeared into the crowd, cups in hand, hoping he might follow.

Devi had been content with wandering around the party, sticking to the outside of everyone else. She was stopped by Moira, who had shown up offering a shot, saying it was 'something to do'. The Hufflepuff took the shot from Moira, smiling her thanks. "Hullo, Moira." she said cheerfully. She wasn't sure she was heard over the sound of the music, and she wasn't about to yell. For a moment, she stared down at the glass, not entirely certain of what to do. She didn't drink and had never felt the need to. Choosing not to be rude, she followed what she had seen the others do. Cautiously, she downed it. And as soon as the burning sensation hit her, she covered her mouth as she began to cough, eyes watering slightly. She hadn't been expecting that and she ended up blushing, obviously embarrassed as she tried to keep herself from coughing up a lung.

Seamus took the shot as soon as Angelica was done pouring. It was going to take a few more before he would feel it; I better get started then. Morgan was distracted, taking in the crowd and he took the opportunity to take in Morgan. She wasn't as...displayed... as Angelica but she looked good.
He turned his gaze back to the other girl as she offered punch. Before he could answer she was gone, moving into the crowd with the cups in her hand. Seamus looked to Morgan and shrugged before turning into the crowd himself. The mob of people seemed to be growing and it was difficult to make it to the punch without shoving. Pulling up along Angelica at the bowl he fairly shouted, "This better be good punch."

~* E - a >+< C - o - n - w - a - y *~ "Aw, did my sarcasm hurt your feelings?" Not being a drinker and also being a tad on the cautious side, Ea drank only from a bottle he kept in his pocket that magically refilled itself with Butter Beer after he took a sip. Something he whipped up the previous year when someone snuck Fire Whiskey into his drink once. . Moxy however had climbed out of the hood, and while she kept close to Ea, she was enjoying her spilt Fire Whiskey quite nicely. The second her tongue first touched the puddle, Ea could see that she was gonna be sore in the morning. He let her have her drink before he scooped the drunk ferret up and placed her in his hood once more. That's when he heard someone call his name. And before he had time to see who it was, he was being dragged by the hand.
Not only did Ea hate being caught off guard, but he hated being touched even more. Luckily for this person she was a fellow Gryffindor and he was in a not-so-dangerous mood. Otherwise he'd have hexed her on the spot as she tried to drag him somewhere. "Yeah, because being dragged around by drunks against my will is oh-so-fun..." he said sarcastically. The glare he gave her made it clear he was way out of his comfort zone. But he saw no point in resisting so he played along and followed her. He was pleasantly surprised to see that she was leading him to the stair and Anna. The corners of his lips lifted up ever so slightly as they seemed to do around Anna. Ea hid it with a bored scowl as soon as he realized, but the damage had been done. He'd smiled again."Well, I guess you'll just have to go into your wee little emo-corner and have yourself a cry then."

Moira did her shot as Devi carefully took her own. She closed her eyes for a second, enjoying the burn when Devi began to cough. Opening her eyes she quickly pulled her wand from her dress pocket. "Aguamenti." She filled the other girl's empty glass with water, grinning. She could tell that Devi was embarrassed by the blush creeping up her face. "It's alright, you just need practice." Moira replaced her wand.

Anna couldn't keep herself from scoffing when Chiara returned the compliment. She wasn't even closed to dressed up as some of the other girls who had shown. In her mind, there was no need to. Getting dressed up just to get totally smashed made no sense to her, and before she could wrap her mind around it, Chiara asked if she could help herself to the Fire Whiskey in Anna's hand. It turned out she needn't have asked as she took the bottle anyway, refilling her glass before handing it back. The Ravenclaw watched as the other girl downed the alcohol, wondering how she wasn't tipsy yet.
Pushing the thought out of her mind, she raised the bottle to her lips again, about to take a drink when Chiara called Ea over. Anna took a quick drink before watching Chiara went and dragged her fellow Gryffindor over to the stairs. When they were over at the stairs, she raised up the bottle in greeting to Ea, a smirk on her face. Still smirking, she said, "It's nice to see that you've shown up."

Ƈhiara ѠistChiara stopped close to the stairs, swiveling around to shoot Ea a small glare at calling her 'drunk.' "I'm not drunk," she shot back, a small smile slowly starting to curl up her lips as she continued with, "yet." A giggle that ended with a snort escaped her as she finished dragging the other boy over to where Anna was. So maybe her strange alcohol tolerance wasn't as great as it used to be. But she refused to let this deter her from the misson she'd given herself: make Ea Conway social. Probably impossible, but Chiara was someone who would do near anything, especially while even just a little intoxicated.
"So!" the Gryffindor said loudly, clapping her hands together once as she looked between the Ravenclaw and Gryffindor. She had caught Ea's second smile, but forced herself not to smirk at it. Though it was more difficult than normal. "Right. You need to loosen up a bit," she said quickly to Ea, before disappearing through the crowd towards the drinks table. She returned shortly with two shot glasses in hand, shoving one at the boy. "Here. Drink. It's Fire Whiskey," she said, and drowned hers.
Normally, Chiara wasn't a drinker. She saved it for any parties. But when a party did roll around, she was one to drink quite a bit. The Gryffindor plopped down in her earlier seat next to Anna and leaned against the wall as the burning in her throat disappeared. "So, Anna..." She had been about to ask a question, but the moment it entered her mind it left again. A frown crossed her face as she tried to remember it, but failed. "Uh.... s**t. I forgot," she admitted after a moment. But another giggle escaped her, and she shrugged. "Oh well! I'll tell you when I remember," she promised, though there probably wouldn't be much of that night she remembered by the end of it. xx xx

~* E - a >+< C - o - n - w - a - y *~ "Aw, did my sarcasm hurt your feelings?" When Chiara told him to 'loosen up', Ea gave her a look that displayed that he'd rather not. After all, he wasn't staying long. Or so he told himself that. That's when she handed him the Fire Whiskey, which sizzled his nose hairs as he held it in his hand. "I could tell from the smell." He gave a fake smile and dumped it in a nearby plant as Chiara wasn't looking. He wanted to stay sober as long as he could. Mostly because getting drunk would make him less aware and more vulnerable, and he also didn't want to find out if he was a mean drunk or not. Losing control around this many people was out of the question.
When Anna spoke, he did it again and allowed the corners of his lips to lift ever so slightly and his eyes to soften. "Yeah, how could I resist a soup of alcohol and raging hormones?" he joked. "That, and Moxy would have thrown a fit. I think she likes you." he gestured to the drunk ferret in his hood, who reacted by burping softly and tumbling all the way down Ea's body and onto the floor. The boy smirked at the ferret tried to stand up, but plopped onto the floor of the shack instead. "I'm cutting you off Mox, you drunk rodent." he said picking her up by the armpits. "Well, I guess you'll just have to go into your wee little emo-corner and have yourself a cry then."

Anna quietly watched the exchange between the two Gryffindors, scooting over to lean against the railing of the stairs so Chiara could turn around. As soon as Chiara's eyes were turned, Ea dumped the shot glass of fire whiskey into the nearest potted plant. She arched an eyebrow, but showed no other indication she had noticed. If he didn't want to drink, it didn't bother her in the least. He had just better not keep her from doing so.
Hearing her name, Anna turned to Chiara, waiting for her to say whatever it is she wanted to say. After a moment, the Gryffindor girl frowned, then tell her she forgot what she had to say. Then she giggled and said she'd tell her later if she could remember. Anna smiled softly, and nodded. "I'm sure you will, Chiara." she responded, sarcasm laced into her voice. There was no doubt in her mind that the other girl wouldn't be able to remember what she had wanted to say to her, let alone most of what would happen throughout the rest of the night. Anna knew that she never managed.
Turning her attention back to Ea, she noticed that he had smiled. It was an improvement, at least. When he joked about her previous comment, she laughed. "Come on, Ea. Everyone knows cesspools of alcohol and raging hormones are always the most fun." She managed to get this out before he mentioned Moxy, who she managed to recall was his ferret. Keeping quiet, she watched with a smirk as the rodent fell out of Ea's hood and onto the ground. "I can honestly say I never thought I'd see a drunk ferret." she commented.

Devi was still coughing when Moira filled her glass with water. Thankfully, she drank it down, the water soothing the burning in her throat. Luckily, she stopped coughing and she started to work on expelling the heat from her face. A skeptical look crossed her face when Moira said she just needed practice. "I'm not sure I want to drink that ever again." she said doubtfully.

"Don't worry, Seamus," Angelica called over her shoulder to her Housemate. "It is!" She poured him a glass first, and then filled Morgan's cup and finally her own. She handed Seamus his cup. Tapping the rim of hers against his, she grinned up at him and said, "Cheers," before taking a large sip. She picked up Morgan's punch, and tried to make her way back over to the redhead. The crowd proved too ferocious to traverse with two cups of punch, so Angelica decided to make her way around the edge of the room, where it was less crowded.
About halfway back to Morgan, she came across Moira and Devi. The latter was coughing, and Moira filled Devi's shot glass with water. The Hufflepuff swallowed the water as if it was the best thing she had ever drunk just as Angelica approached them. "Moira," she said, giving a small nod to the redhead. She wasn't really acquainted with the Gryffindor, but Morgan was friendly with her, and any friend of Morgan's...probably deserved Angelica's respect, at the least, despite her hair ribbon. Angelica smirked at the sight of it, then turned to Devi. "Alright there, Dev?" she said, her smirk only growing. She took a sip of her punch and looked over the two girls' shoulders for Morgan, hoping she would come over for her punch. Having already seen what Moira was wearing, Angelica looked Devi up and down. "Nice shoes," she said, rather passively, as if she didn't really care about the shoes one way or the other.

Devi didn't notice Angelica had shown up until the Slytherin spoke directly towards her, asking if she was alright. It took her a moment before she realized she was asking about the coughing. The Hufflepuff nodded her head, not wanting to have to yell over the blasting music. Then again, it was also unlikely that Angelica had seen the nod with the flashing lights. Before she had the chance to say anything, the Slytherin commented on her shoes. Devi looked down at her feet, then back up at Angelica, a small grin on her face. "Thanks, Angelica. I like your thon - dress. I like your dress. Green looks good on you." she caught herself quickly, but she was already sure the damage had been done. Immediately, a blush crawled onto her face and she averted her eyes to the ground.

Moira laughed as Devi swore off the alcohol. "Beware the punch then. I haven't a clue what's in it." She heard her name then and saw Angelica moving toward the pair. Before she could stop it, Moira felt her eyes grow in her head. The Slytherin was wearing a dress, but not much of one. Quickly she cast her eyes downward, inspecting her glass. I could have done without seeing that.
Devi seemed to be taking it well until The Slip-up. "I like your thon-dress. I like you dress" was all Moira heard before she choked on her own spit. It was a combination of coughing into the back of her hand and laughing, and it couldn't be stopped. Finally she managed to get the laughing under control, but not the coughing. Sputtering, she flicked her eyes to Angelica. "She's right. Green is your color."
