Kyo entered the building and made his way to the waiting room. He should have come to greet the new captain sooner, but as he had been busy attaining shikai, then recovering in the 4th division he hadnt had a chance yet. he wondered if he should have spent a few more days in recovery, the battle against Kasen had taken alot out of him. His hand strayed to his sword unconsciously, he still needed to become stronger though. He sighed as he returned to the present, he hoped the new captain was as friendly as Evil had been.

(Am I allowed to get shikai right away? I've been in the guild WELL over two months....XD)
"Why I chose this division...." Maria didn't have to ponder the question at all. "I heard that this squad was famed for its elemental users, and, every once in a while, when I'm sleeping, I'll see flashes of lightning in my dreams, which made me believe that, for some reason, I belong here." She said with a hearty grin, noticing the newcomer's reiatsu fairly quickly. "If you have any answers to why I've been seeing these things, I would greatly appreciate it, captain." Her eyes were strong and obedient; the second she'd laid eyes upon her captain, Maria had vowed to eternally protect her with her life. It was something only a knight could understand, and possibly Hinata, if she got to know Maria well enough. Obedience and strength like Maria's don't come around often-you can only really get those qualities from someone originating in the Medieval Times.

(( Meh. I'll think about it, if you remain active with your character (I don't think you'll have long to wait - I'm just a bit bogged down with work at the moment. Once I'm free, I'll re-assess ^^). ))
Hinata's eyebrows rose as she heard of Maria's strange dreams. It was rare, but not unheard of for a Shinigami to be in sync with their Zanpaktou enough to glimpse flashes of its power in their subconscious. She herself had frequently heard voices in her head when she had been close to attaining Shikai - which she later discovered was Harikaze trying to be encouraging (in the end, it only succeeded in making Hinata believe she was truly going mad).
“It seems you’re one of the lucky ones,” she said after a pause. “I guess these dreams only mean that your spiritual energy is unusually in tune with that of your Zanpaktou. It will be easier for you to learn your sword’s name and attain Shikai this way. You may find that you are sooner ready for Shikai than others of your level.” All the while, she tracked the thread of reiatsu which was currently entering her office. Turning to peek over Maria’s shoulder, she glimpsed a Shinigami, unconsciously running his hand over the hilt of his sword.
“Takeshi Kyoshiro…” murmured the Captain, recalling from the squad roster she had been given days before. In her years as a Shinigami, she had seen many different characters, so Kyo’s appearance didn’t faze her in the least. “Takeshi-san, is it? Why don’t you come in and join us?” she said, beaming at her new visitor.

(O_O I can't say that much....)
Maria merely chuckled as Hinata told her these things. "I don't need fancy releases." She unsheathed her blade, and swung it around her, severely whipping up Hinata's hair as Maria placed the blade on her shoulder, holding it like it were a gigantic blade. "All I need is a big sword, and a lot of enemies. In fact, if there is someone in this squad willing to, I'd be happy to demonstrate that fact." Her whole conscious was set to proving herself to her captain-that was how it had always been. Maria wasn't the type to be discouraged easily, or at all, and she proved herself when the opportunity came. As soon as the other Shinigami's name was mentioned, Maria bowed respectfully, then left the captain's office, not wanting to stand in the middle of another person's conversation.

Upon hearing his name, Kyo turned and entered the captain's office. He bowed respectfully before speaking, "Greetings my lady Captain. I wanted to introduce myself to you personally as you are the new leader of the 10th division. I am Takeshi Kyoshiro, most call me Kyo. I look forward to serving under you and vow to uphold your honor and lay down my life for you should it be necessary." he said without straightening from his bow. His ears twitched slightly as he heard the other shinigami leave the office.

Elemental Zanpaktou ((I have been in the guild for about 2 years now, does that mean I can start my Shikai training too?))
"Kazuki Hinata, and what noble words! It's kind of strange having people say they would lay their life down for you..." Hinata commented, "but I've always been a bit of a nobody when my Shinigami career is concerned." She gave a quick glance sideways at Zaine and Foust, who looked as if they were about to turn into carcasses. She fancied she heard the cry of a vulture as it circled the building, and couldn't help laughing aloud at her own morbid imagination. Laughing to yourself out of the blue - perhaps the 32nd sign of madness?
"You two can stop now." Pacing over, she took the pile of paperwork from their limp arms, and filed it neatly with the rest of the documents. "Mind taking this around the other divisions when you're done here, Takeshi-san?" She indicated the thick file bound with string. "Sorry, but I have another x million of these to go." She prodded Zaine and Foust out of their seats, then treated them to steaming cups of what appeared to be bubble tea, then turned back to Takeshi. "Tea?"

Kyo wasnt sure what to say to her comment, or how to react to her suddenly laughing at nothing, but kept his composure. "Of course my Lady Kazuki-sama. What divisions do you require me to go to?" he asked then nodded acceptance to the tea she offered him. His hand twitched slightly as tea always made him want a cigarette, he fought the urge as he was in the captains office and it would be disrespectful.

"Let's see..." Hinata paused, chasing a tapioca pearl around the bottom of her cup with a cocktail stick. "1st to 7th are already done, and 11th said they didn't need it..." she muttered, mentally striking them from the list, "so I guess that means only the 8th Division, 9th Division and 13th Division left," she announced more clearly.
Something strange registered in her mind at Kyo's address. She realised that she had not been spoken to as a "Lady" for a while. Somehow, her cosy room in her office appealed to her more than living in the immense Kazuki Manor, where even the silence echoed.
Glancing sideways, she saw that Kyo appeared reluctant to drink from the cup offered to him. Smiling, she said:
"Just to clarify, it's not pure tea, it's bubble tea. Tastes more of flavoured milk than anything else, though if you have a problem with caffeine, I suggest you opt for water."

Kyo nodded, "divisions 8, 9, and 13. very well m'Lady Kazuki-sama i will deliver them as quickly as i am able." he said. Her next comment made him realize that he still hadnt drunk any of his tea, now he was being rude to his captain in her very office. he took a sip of the tea and it visibly amazed him at how good it was, he had never had tea quite like this before. remembering his manners, he took a few small sips, rather than drain it all at once like he wanted to. "This is probably the best tea i think i have ever had m'Lady Kazuki-sama." he said

Hinata seemed to find Kyo's comment about the tea highly amusing. It could easily have been flattery - if he had not said it with such an earnest expression. She could see that it was all he could do to stop himself from tipping the entire contents of the cup and swallowing it in one gulp.
"You'd better not get used to drinking it. This is junk food..." she chuckled, draining her own tea before making a pearl kebab of sorts, with her cocktail stick and what was left of the tapioca in the dregs of her cup. "Oh, and stop calling me 'Lady'. It's weird, being called that by any other person apart from your maids. '-Taicho' is fine," she added rather blandly, failing to recognise that her comment may have embarrassed Kyo.
Sighing, the female Shinigami rose in one swift movement, then swept back over to her desk. Once seated, she began grinding ink for her well.
"Sorry guys, but I have to get back to these. You can go if you want - I hardly think it would be very interesting to watch me writing for hours on end." With a smile, she returned to her brush, rolled up her sleeves and began to write.

Kyo nodded, before finishing his tea. "Yes m'La-I mean Kazuki-Taicho." he said wondering what she meant about being addressed by maids, then he realized she was unintentionally comparing him to a servant. he wasnt sure what to say, and thus decided to let it go as he was sure she hadnt meant it that way. upon being dismissed, he bowed and took his leave from the office building.

Takeru was walking down the hall, his arms, legs and torso bandaged. He had just came from squad fours medical facility, he thought that now that he was starting to get better he should properly introduce himself to the new captain. Takeru had been hoping to serve under the same captain as his father, but he didn't mind a new one. He walked up the the door with his left hand in his pocket and knocking three times with his right hand.

Kaginari walked to the captains office stopping at the door. He took a deep breath and fixing his robes. Kaginari felt naked with out his sword. Jst in case of insulting his captain he left it behind. Kaginari nocked twice on the captains door.
