Wings for me. The only problem I've got with them, though, is that when I don't shave, and the hair catches without my notice, and it hurts.

My first day or two I usually leak through anyway (can get away without one last 2-3 nights) and with Gymnastics I like to make sure the pad is securely in place, other wise its very uncomfortable XP (the tight leotard kind of helps with that a bit though) So definatley ones with wings are definatley better

I always use ones with Wings...makes it more secure and I hate getting blood on my underwear. >.< but I might not have wings anymore...cause I might use Tampons once i really figure out how they work. D: And I'm scared that people will notice the wings during the PE Locker room changing area....we don't have stalls or anything....and it's kind of embarrassing so I'm not sure of what to do...

I use wings. When I got my first period, I wasn't using wings since my mom didn't use wings. With wings, I know the pad will stay in its proper position.

Def wings, I have a very heavy flow, so I need to wear the maximum protection ones during the day and night, plus two pairs of underwear on because it tends to go up my bum when I sleep and leak through, lol xp No way will I ever use tampons.

Wings, they're a lot more secure for me, and I don't have to worry about any pad slippage on my half. 3nodding

I never used to use the ones with wings but since starting university and the only pads they had at the market within walking distance had wings, I sort of had to, but now I actually prefer them. Although for me, it's less about pad security and more about not wanting to run the risk of staining my panties. :< I'm sure everyone here knows how hard it can be to get bloodstains out.

I haven't used a pad since I first started my period (when wings were NEW- holy s**t that makes me feel old), but when I did use them I always used the ones with wings. They stayed in place and if there was any leakage out the sides they usually trapped it.
