"That is likely wise," S'ren agreed with a nod when he mentioned being discreet with the lizard watching if he were to do it at all. he doubted that it could really be made into that much of an issue, but it was best to play it safe. "And as lovely as that would be, I doubt the Healer would leave before the hatching." A Hatching was a major thing after all, and a double Hatching even moreso. It wasn't unusual to have visitors near the time that the eggs were expected to hatch, so Givon leaving before then was highly unlikely. If anything, more people might even show up just to witness the rare scene of a double Hatching.
"Well, we should probably be on our way," the brownrider said with an apologetic smile. "It was a pleasure to meet with you, Tor. And your flits. I apologize once again for having interrupted your practice."
But Mine, I wished to hear him sing, Tereth replied, eyes whirling a dull grey of disappointment.
Don't worry. Once we're out of immediate sight of his firelizards I'm sure he'll pick back up where he left off, S'ren replied, patting the dragon comfortingly on the neck. If we keep conversing like this however you won't be hearing anything.
True enough, the Brown agreed, placated by the logic. He really was looking forward to hearing more music.
