Were Tishtar not being so polite, Ally might have let herself become a little more harsh. She could understand the importance of their quest and the pressure they were under but they were dealing with another pride and another authority, already she was hesitant of the idea as they offered only so little information at once. She was becoming less impressed with Dié and starting to make some guesses at why they might risk sending a prey beast outside of some safe border with her.
"I will need to speak with Alizeti directly," she said, speaking first to Tishtar before looking to Dié with more seriousness, "You have your purpose and I have mine. It is my responsibility to make decisions that benefit the entire pride but I also have a duty to each member and to my own family. You are asking for my nephew. If you have anything else you need to tell me, speak now."
If the wolf couldn't patiently discuss the idea, she would have to spit out everything Ally needed to know now. They did not explain anything about the process for her to respond to and it didn't seem like they (mainly Dié) wanted to agonize over the details. Unfortunately for them, it made the situation more suspicious than anything.

Tishtar took the time to look irritated at her compantion. She slipped in front of the wolf, lifting a hind leg to warn her to shut her trap. The waterbuck would take over from this point on.
"We understand," she said, 'we' clearly meaning 'I'. "Before anything was determined, we would bring our Ria out here to confirm the deal. We feel it is important for her to practice these types of negotiations and alliances, along with the fact that it is too much of a risk to allow our Lord and Lady to leave the lands themselves."
She paused to take a breathe before continuing. "I will return with her, and a bodyguard as well." She smiled. "Ria isn't one to carry too much around with her."

Ally nodded when Tishtar took over and explained that they would bring the heiress back to finalize the deal. It was a good idea, it would be nice to meet a more.. ah, official representative of the pride and it would give her time to talk to Alizeti.
"All right," she agreed, nodding, "She will be welcome here, I will make the arrangements. How far a journey is it to your lands?"

Dié, mildly cowed by the Queen, answered. "10 days of travel. We will turn around as soon as we reach Tianxia with Ria and her chosen guard. So it may be a bit before Tishtar and her return." Mio would want to know more about what they discovered, and it was obvious that Dié would be the one to do that.
"We can send about half a day's warning before we return," Tishtar added. "We can bring an avian with us for this reason."

Hmm, it was quite the trip out to there, they had come a long way for this, their impatience was slightly more understandable. However, she was not sure how many prides were found easily between here and there. She did not know many to the North.
"I can offer you Biti's services," she suggested, shrugging her shoulder to make sure he was still paying attention, "He is my own extra set of eyes and ears, there is little he doesn't know about us here and he'd know all the best places to look for me or the King." She wasn't sure they would go for it but felt obligated to offer him. Biti was smart, quick and small. He could stay safe.
Biti dug his little talons into Ally's fur when she bumped him, keeping himself steady and offering a small smile to the blue pair. He didn't want to leave but it wouldn't be the first thing Ally had asked him to do for her. And she was being very flattering in offering his help.

Tishtar nodded. "If he wouldn't mind, that might be ideal. He could see everything even before we decide negotiations." Tishtar felt a little bad about putting the male as something like that, but she didn't know how else to go about it. This seemed like an ideal alliance, as long as the girl held her tongue at the right points and offered respect to the Queen. "And if he needs a break, he can rest on my head or back," she offered on with a smile.
Dié only nodded, the fact that she was terrible at this sort of thing hammered into her.

"Perfect," Ally said, turning her head to Biti and smiling at him, "Sounds good to you, Biti?" She knew he wouldn't say no and she wouldn't really let him off the hook but she did care about Biti. The least she could do for him was be polite.
"Of course," he chirped brightly, fluffing himself up importantly. He would be the first of them to get a look around the pride they would be allying themselves with and to meet the one they were trying to set Alizeti up with and he would do a good job.

Tishtar and Dié nodded. They were agreed. "We are ready to head back now, as it will take time to return." Tishtar turned to Biti, offering him a nod. He was going to be important in this, after all. First impressions were hard to change once they were imprinted. "Would you be ready to leave? We can wait a bit if you need to gather up any business..." She didn't know how much a bird would have, but it never hurt to ask.

"No, I'm ready now," Biti answered. He didn't have anything he needed to worry about except eating, really, but everybody needed to eat so that wasn't a big concern. He didn't have anybody to worry about except Ally and she was the one sending him out. With a nod, he pushed himself back up into the air, flying a small circle around the group.
"I will walk with you to the borders, nobody should bother you," she said, watching Biti fly in a circle and then smiling back down to the others. It would be a shame to run into trouble now.

"That would be wonderful," Tishtar said, adding a nod. Dié took her lead and nodded too, but she was ready to go back home. She wasn't one for adventures, and even though she trusted those back home, she would prefer to be back with the Lady.
They turned, ready to go, as it would be quite a journey to get there and back.
