Run off and...tattle? Anwar blinked. That was...it struck him as utterly childish to be honest. Which was odd, considering how he himself had been a child very recently. Run off and tattle indeed.

"Don't worry little brother," the young lion said softly, still evidently fascinated by the soft cool squish of the mud between his toes. "It can be our little secret..." Though the way he allowed his words to trail off left a thick 'for now' to hang heavily in the air between them.

"So, if you've nothing to talk to me about, and I didn't see you out here, I suppose I'll just be off then. Perhaps you should be more careful what you eat, if you've been feeling...ill." His paws made a soft squelching noise as he pulled them free, dabbling them lightly in the water to clean them before straightening and looking down at his sibling. Mir-something. Oh yes...Anwar was definitely going to be keeping an eye on this one...

Anwar's blink did nothing to reassure his younger half-sibling, who was torn between thinking it meant he'd discovered the older lion's plans and thinking that it had not occurred to him to do so. Either way, he was now more concerned that he would be finked upon than he had been moments earlier, and he wished desperately that he hadn't said anything at all on the subject, and that he'd just allowed his brother to have the last word. It was a valuable lesson for the cub, the unnecessary nature of having the last word, and one which would stay with him for the rest of his life.

For a moment Mirsajadi's attention was captured by his brother's evident interest in the mud beneath his feet and he wondered at it. Mud was mud. It was one of many ways to earn a scolding. He didn't see anything particularly fascinating about the squishy stuff. Trying to puzzle out Anwar's interest lulled him into missing - or nearly missing - the unspoken "for now" which followed his half-sibling's words. He didn't like the idea of having a secret with this brother, who seemed so...sneaky. He felt like it was a very bad thing, and that he would come to regret it.

"I will be more careful," Mirsajadi promised his brother, but he wasn't thinking about food. His thoughts instead were on the likelihood of this queer episode repeating itself, and what he could do to prevent anyone else from finding out about his affliction, if he was actually afflicted. Perhaps this was merely a one-time event.

Anwar nodded at the cub's words, as though he were satisfied with that responce to his warning to be more careful. As if he truely beleived it was something the other cub had eaten. He didn't think he was being truthful about the odd occurance...perhaps if it happened again he could better persuade this little brother to tell him.

Two little seers were better than one after all.

((Can't really think of much else to say, sorry. I feel like this one is just about wrapped up? They both seem intent on going their seperate ways...))
