"Now now," Nate argued with little defense, bonking the girl lightly at the base of her head, "You're the little girl," He teased, "And you need your daily dosage of sleep. Now come on, say good-bye to the trees and lets take you home."

He slowly made his own way towards the Skyway entrance, located at the edge of a riverbed. With his nostalgia it took him a harder time to notice it through its transparent structure, but its silohoutte made it easy enough to find it. I really should sleep tonight..I just gotta to wait a couple of days for the weekend. I'll crash then, tonight I still have to study.

A teary yawn left him as he approached the Skyway, and turned around once he was inside to look at Misora while he waited.

Misora looked at the trees, Goodbye she said silently in her look. She heard the trees replies of goodbye as she followed Nate. She heard Nate yawn and saw a few tears welled up in his eyes when he turned and looked at her. "I think you should sleep tonigt. You need sleep too, your more tired than I am and have to do a lot more." Misora said with a smile.

"Don't tease you me, Little Misora."r He remarked with an arrogant grin.

He didn't often tease Misora of her stature or age but at times they were the only way he defend himself with her. Maybe it was being with Mitsuki that she turned out the way she is, bit more witty and center-minded than most kids.

He relieved himself from hearing Misora's response, and turned to look out the skyway.

"Yo, Sir!" Nate called out to the individual who stood walked through the parking lot, seeming lost. It must have been a newcomer since he didn't recognize him. "If you're looking for a way out this Skyway would be your best bet!" He called out, clicking on the buttons upon the keypad. Like always, with a jumpstart they ascended towards the night sky and headed towards the Living Quarters in East Sanctum.

Before Misora could retort Nate had already called out to a newcomer to the city. She sighed and followed him onto the skyway. When she got home she'd try practicing her new skill with her violin to the plants in her room. Misora looked down at the city. The skyway always had the best veiw, but soon they'd be at the living quarters.

Drathir Lac'nala
Those most powerful in my city,
Spend their days watching over their shoulders.

After finally coming to the park Drathir smiled, he had gotten away without too much trouble. He had done enough for the day, he also knew that they would more than likely come to his apartment looking for him. After all, it was more than likely the first place anyone would go. That was why he decided upon the park. Looking around he cracked his neck, the moon was high in the night sky thus allowing him to remove the goggles he had over his eyes. Once it was off his eyes slowly shifted from their crimson red color to a sort of dull gray.

“It's time like these I miss my home...” He muttered to himself as he moved towards a tree, the exact same tree that Misora had been singing and playing music to earlier. With a sigh he placed his hand upon the tree, his clawed fingers dinner into its bark. “Might as well sign my name that I was here.” He spoke out-loud as he began carve his name into the tree, underneath it he wrote the words agent of death was here Before laying down he decided to highlight his signature with some purple faerie-fire. After that was done he leaned his back against the tree and slumped down onto the ground.

"I do believe that that was an impressive display of power you revealed back there.." A gruff voice spoke from the other side of the tree. crouched to rest his butt on his heels while his hood kept his features hidden in its shadows he took in a deep intake of breathe and slowly let it out. He was dressed in a thick, old and tattered brown wanderer's cloaked; the hood fallen over past his eyes to the point where only his lips and aged, gray beard could be seen. The arm sleeves hung heavily around the fists that they covered, draping themselves over a pair of boots with dry mud.

"It is very impressive, indeed.." The man continued. "Not too many people can manipulate time. If I had kept myself protected I wouldn't have noticed you leaving.." The man boasted, giving off an old but hearty laugh.

With a laugh the drow ran his hand through his short white hair. “Don't know what you're talking about sir.” He lied as he smiled ever so slightly. “I'm just a humble Drow merchant that has traveled here in hopes of establishing trade with the above world.” With a sigh he extended his arms and shook his head.

“However, I got a little lost and was unable to find my way back to my home. Thankfully, this wonderful city with all its beautiful sights was here for me.” Standing up he made his way around the tree, not before he waved his hand, causing the faerie-fire to vanish and disappear leaving the new marking on the tree unlit. “As for this time-manipulation, I don't know what you're referring to. I possess no powers beyond those that I was born with.”

"Is that a fact?..Then tis a shame; here I was hoping I have found a rare seed." The man's smile turned into a disappointed frown as he felt Drathir move around the tree. His hood shifted ever so slightly with the sudden shift in wind. He parted his lips ajar, and sucked in not only the wind but hi energy, which had been around them the moment he had arrived. For him, the wind stopped, even the leaves that were blown away from there nesting spots in the branches.

Now that he stopped time he stood up and walked beside Drathir, who was barely coming around the tree. If it wasn't for you technique, I would not be able to slow you and everything else down. This is my proof, that I know you have that uncanny skill aside from being a mere Drow. I wish to discuss further with you, but we are about to be interrupted, and I don't know how much longer I can hold my breath. Tomorrow evening, meet me near Northeast Sanctum and make sure that no one follows you. We will talk then. If you refuse...well, I advise that you don't.

It was all telepathic. Not only did the individual seem to have been able to shift time, even still it for that moment, but he could throw his thoughts into the Drow. He would have to speak slowly however, so the words wouldn't be rushed into the man's brain when he released his hold. But first he took his time leaving the area, almost fading away as if he was a mere ghost.

Once the time was brought to normal a heavy tension would seem to have lift not only from Darthir but from the entire atmosphere.

"..Did you feel that, Inukai?" Dark asked as he hovered over a number of trees until the park came into view. "Like the air shifted or something..Made my stomach feel queezy.." He added. When he had arrived near the tavern he had felt the same thing, but he had disregarded it; never thinking that it could have been something. But twice? It must have been something..

He looked back to see if Inukai was still following him, and it shouldn't be too hard to find seeing that it would be a light blue figure flying through the skies, at least in his current vision. If he actually questioned it it would remind him of a thinner and cooler gargoyle or something.

The eyes of his Dragonboard lit a faint red, a breath of what could have been smoking rolling out of the partly opened mouth of the dragon head at the front. The board was not alive, but the Chaos Dragon - a separate and own entity within Dark himself- moved to animate the board, even if only a little. I guess it felt it, too.. Dark thought before flying over the empty field, catching sight of a single man near a tree. "..That must be him.." Dark thought.

User Image Inukai drifted a bit closer and more to the side of Dark so he wouldn't have to turn his head as far. '..yes...this one felt it...didn't like it..' he answered as he scanned the trees below.
Soon enough he too spotted the one that Dark mentioned, '..that is the one you seek? ...if he is a foe, then this one will stay with Dark..'
He might not be a great fighter but with how he looks most would think otherwise...till he actually fought anyway.. he wondered it Dark or someone would help train him.

He doubted that he needed the help but it was relieving to know that he had someone in his back. "Do me a favor and circle around him; flank him."

"You roused some attention at the tavern, man. I don't normally take action but whenever there's trouble that seems to be out of the cities hand..well, it falls on me." Such a helper he was..blood hell.

He descended, hovering just above twenty feet while he gazed at the Drow. For a moment he took a look at his wrist, but couldn't clearly see. "Do you have your ID? I hope you at least have that.."

User Image The gentle demon nodded to Dark when he gave the instructions and and arched away from him before he spoke to his target. Inukai flew in a wide circle, but kept the stranger in sight and silently landed some 25-ish feet behind him so the stranger was between Dari and Inukai.
He silently moved a little closer and hid behind some bushes, close enough hear and see what both he and Dark said and also leap out and catch the stranger if needed.
Part of him hoped the stranger would just go along with Dark, after all the taste of the imp from earlier still lingered in his mouth and he'd rather not add anything else to make it worse.

Having slid back down since the hooded man left Drathir didn't need to look up when he heard a voice. After all, he knew that someone would have had to follow him after what transpired in the tavern. But, he thought he would have to lie to the new comer. “The tavern? I do not recall being there, after all I do not partake in booze.” He spoke his gaze still at the ground.

The voice spoke of his ID. With a smile the drow finally looked up. “I have numerous Identifcations. One of which even belongs here.” He spoke, his voice cold and uncaring. “Though, I am afraid my one for here as sadly been broken. My arm was nearly crushed by a box thankfully the device that you keep it in was able to prevent that from happening though at the cost of its life.” With a sigh he pulled out a small mangled piece of metal that appeared to be one of the ID tags.

"......"

You sure it's him, Old Man? Dark asked, knowing the connection would break through to the Mayor.

It is him. Don't be deceived. My Omniscient is far better than your own, and though I'm old in age I will not make a mistake. Heyen can say what he wants but that man in front of you is who caused the trouble.

Dark sighed, taking glance at what the man called ID. "..Then you should get that renewed with Linion." He suggested, hoping off his board and walking towards the man in a calm, but hostile pace. "You know, the thing I hate more than most things is lying..especially if I know if it's a lie. Now trust me..." He paused, knowing he did not know the man's name nor did he care. "..Drow." He called. "I've a very reliable source, and I don't mean Heyen nor Mitsuki - which you badly hurt..." He had said it before..Sanctum had crimes just like any other place. He knew not this man's history, nor did he care to; but he was sure he wasn't from Northeast..so he would allow one chance. At least..

The sun was breaking through the mountains beyond Sanctum, painting the sky with its morning hues. For a moment his eye sight hurt, blurring his entire vision completely in an impossible white. Just bear with it a few seconds.. He thought, waiting for his eyes to shift colors for a more appropirate vision, but couldn't help but squint his eyes. "I'll be fair...even to someone like you."

RYOSUKE!!

"At least offer an apology to both Heyen and Mitsuki..and refrain yourself from acting like that again, or I will hunt you down this time."

The Mayor disapproved. As hard as he tried to block it out it was impossible so long as the man had the Dragon's Echo. Filled with dissatisfaction for his poor choice of decision the vampire in hiding was yelling at him, lecturing him in leadership. No matter how much the odl man nagged at him, his decisions were usually final. Whether he regrets it, or not.

User Image Inukai remained still as stone as he listened to their exchange, he could tell from the scent that the stranger, that Dark called Drow, was lying..the scent from the tavern still was on his clothing. It made him wonder if the human and human-like creatures had any sense of smell..the remaining scent of their clothes was just as strong as the real thing to Inukai..and the real stuff could quickly give him a headache in minutes.
Out of the corner of his eye he noticed that the sun was rising, mostly the only thing that meant to him was another night without a meal..he could go a week or two without dream-eating, but it'd weaken him severely, at the moment it was day 4 of no dreams.
Inukai let those thoughts drift into the back of his mind as he kept a steady gaze on the Drow, who seemed calm for now, but the demon kept himself at ready anyway, 'better safe then sorry' as the humans said.
