Illovae descended slightly as a black cloud began to fill the air, lowering herself enough so that she was a little beneath them, maintaining enough distance to dodge should Rai somehow attack from them. Beating her wings lightly and using the rising heat to maintain her height, Illovae held her right hand with the palm facing the ground, watching for a moment as small shards of light began to appear in the earth. More Diamonds. With a sweeping gesture from her hand, Illovae manipulated the vines over by the burning trees, making the tendrils whip around to embed themselves int he ground, a maneuver followed immedietly by a large sequence of cracking sounds as several of the withered trees were ripped out of the earth, some of them burning from the lava, while others merely covered in oil and tar.
With a slight flick of her wrist, Illovae sent the trees flying towards Rai, the massive chunks of withered and burning wood intercepting many of the diamond shards as they flew towards their target. A significant amount of thorns still made it through however, rising from the earth and shooting into the sky, glittering in the firelight. As the superheated diamonds neared her, Illovae moved both hands to face towards the earth, changing her positioning in the air so her body was horizontal. As she took a deep breath, Illovae's helmet began to change slightly, the lower part over the mouth changing slightly, with the vines bending away to increase the air flow around her mouth. Focusing her chakra, the rogue ninja unleashed one of her unique abilities. "Incantation of Air" A ripple of pure air chakra burst forth from Illovae's hands, expanding through the area beneath her and knocking away the diamonds, several of them shattering upon impact with the chakra blast. As she used the ability however, Illovae began gasping for breath, eyes widening slightly as she panted, before the chakra blast finally ended, after which she sucked in a lungfull of air, still panting slightly from the use of her ability.

As Rai is still inside of his thread ball he is safe from most attacks so the trees that hit the black metallic threads and then the trees are destroyed by the threads. Rai Meanwhile was trying to use another jutsu One that might even the playing field so to speak. The heat from the Lava seems to get hotter and the sky gets blacker. Rai starts to laugh as the final part of his main jutsu is almost done.
The sky is starting to build up a storm and a small gust of wind starts to kick up. Another storm cloud forms up and the two different clouds start to cause lightening to gather in the sky. The sky seems to be a very dangerous place to be. The strength of the storm seems to be growing but rain is not what has started to fall. "This is a jutsu that I learned a while ago." Armageddon form: Burning rain no jutsu. The sky opens up and oil starts to fall from the ground. If one were to look over at the forest one would notice that the oil that Rai had used as an accelerator for the forest fire had evaporated into the clouds just to Rain down to cause a huge fire to burn the vines and win this fight.

Illovae frowned slightly as the winds picked up, glancing up towards the sky in time to see a second cloud forming, sparks beginning to jump from could to cloud and the electrical charge in the air making Illovae's hair stand on end. Realizing the danger of flying during a storm, the pale ninja raised her wings, holding them still as she suddenly plummeted towards the ground. As she neared the ground, Illovae motioned with her hands, raising vines from the ground around her to form a webbing between her body and the sky, water wasn't good for lava, so anything that came out of these clouds would only help Rai. Something she needed to stop. The webbing formed quickly, the vines weaving together to block out the rain of oil completing as the first drops began to fall, shielding the around around Illovae from the flammable liquid.
Holding her right arm towards her opponents defences, Illovae closed her hand, vines rising from beneath the ground to cover the sphere, maintaining a short distance from the ball to avoid being ripped to shreds. With her opponent sealed away, if only for a moment or two, Illovae moved her right arm again, thorned tendrils growing out of the armour and twisting around it extending in length and thickness until it had formed into a giant claw like shape, tiny thorns all over it placed to repel the raining oil through surface tension. With a mighty swing, Illovae clawed at her foe's defences, tearing through the vines she had placed earlier to smash through Rai.

As Rai felt the threads get covered with the vines trying to trap him in he realizes that she thinks that she has him. Rai starts sealing for yet another jutsu. He is a little depressed that she has seemingly found a way to get around his oil rain jutsu which is not one of his best jutsu as it takes too long to get active but on the same point he knows that he needs an in. Rai decides that it is time to use a defensive jutsu once again. Diamond Release: diamond wall no jutsu. As Illovae starts to swing this jutsu takes place by shooting up a five centimeter thick wall of diamonds in the way of her hitting Rai so that she will hit the diamond barrier.
Rai is starting to feel the exhaustion of using so many jutsu at one time but cant stop now. While he is still covered with his Diamond wall he attempts to use his threads to shoot out and cut the vines down around him. Rai's threads will start at the bottom hoping to cut the tops off from the ground so that they cant gain any help from the soil...

Illovae's fist of thorns and vines smashed into the diamond wall, small shockwaves releasing from the impact zone and parts of the ground nearby cracking under the strain. Changing the positioning of the claw, the rogue ninja shifted her grip on the barrier, the palm now facing the front of it with a throned claw curled around the edges. Illovae raised her left arm, unthorned vines extending from the gauntlet and then moving to point the same way as her fist, each tendril wrapping around others to form a large lance-like object. Thorns grew out of the tip of each vine, long jagged chunks of immensely dense material, all with their ends meeting at a single point, the thorns curving away from it slightly due to the weapons twisted composition. As more and more vines were added, the outer layers began to constrict, compressing the inner parts and lessening the weapons size, the solid tip at the end only having small lines to indicate where the thorns joined.
At the same moment as the lance began to form, Illovae's right wing began to expand, growing larger and curving slightly, moving so it covered her entire right side like a shield. Pulling on the diamond shield with her claw, Illovae yanked herself forwards, hurtling through the air to pass by the diamond barrier, her right wing protecting her from the oily rain as she moved. Shortening several of the vines in the claw, Illovae changed her course until she was directly behind the barrier, facing an open gap to see Rai's second barrier within. With both wings now raised and crossed over her head to protect Illovae from rain, the pale ninja held forward her left arm, the massively compacted lance of vines and its razor sharp tip pointing towards Rai. In an instant, the vines in her claw shifted, moving so that the claw dug into the ground behind the diamond barrier instead of holding on to it. Pulling with the claw again, Illovae dragged herself towards Rai's inner barrier, using the momentum of the first pull to send herself flying through the air once more, lance held in front of her pointed towards the center of the sphere shaped barrier. If hit with enough force in one spot, even diamond will shatter, and with the hardened tip of her lance designed to focus all of her momentum into the one spot, that is exactly what Illovae planned to do.

The black threads that have covered Rai now retract and fall back into his body. While that was one of his ultimate defenses he needed to be speedy right now and that meant he had to move. Rai quickly jumps in the air as he holds up a hand seal. Lava Release: Geyser of Lava no jutsu. In front of where he used to be a moderate geyser of lava erupts out of the ground coating the spear and setting the tip if not on fire at least dulling it a bit. Still the attack did have the effect of scratching Rai's left leg pretty good. Rai knew that this was pushing it close and so he knew that he had to pull it off. The heat caused by the lava will ignite the oil rain that has now stopped but has coated everything lightly.
Rai looks around the area trying to see where he can go then thinks of something else. Upon landing on the ground Rai makes three earth clones which then break away and run at Illovae trying to get real close to her body.

Illovae frowned as Rai's defense broke apart, vanishing as her foe lept away. As a geyser of lava burst forth from the ground in front of her, Illovae pulled back her right arm, the vines forming up her claw snapping and breaking apart as tendrils shot down out of her armoured feet, anchoring her to the ground. As the vines from her feet connected to the network of vines underground, Illovae's movement towards the lava was halted, though not before the tip of her lance passed right into it. With a flap of her wings, the rogue ninja launched herself backwards, the tip of her lance now ablaze, droplets of fire falling from it to ignite small pools of oil on the ground. Cursing slightly, Illovae unwrapped the lance, splitting it back into several thorn tipped vines, their ends quickly burning away. Flapping her wings once more, Illovae stabilized herself and descended to the ground, and with a swing of her left arm, she sent the flaming vines whipping towards Rai, aimed at a large puddle of oil to his right. Disconnecting the vines after she attacked, Illovae propelled herself backwards with another flap of her wings, the vines attached to her feet also snapping away.
Flying back to a raised patch of ground, aiming to avoid the puddles of oil, Illovae descended once more, several vines rising from the ground to twist into a small platform beneath her. From her platform, the pale shinobi watched the battlefield, noting several large puddles of oil and even one small stream, flowing between the two combatants and effectively dividing the battlefield. Spotting the three clones running towards her, Illovae shifted her wings, moving them in front of her body before firing the oil-coated thorns covering them in a barrage at the clones. As the wings returned to their normal position and began to regrow their thorny covering, Illovae's tail darted around to point towards the middle clone. Building up her chakra and focusing it into the tail, which now had an almost flame-like red aura around it, Illovae muttered a single phrase. "Invocation Of Fire." The aura of chakra burst into flames, a single beam of solid red light lancing out of it and towards the middle clone, striking some of the thorns on the way and setting them alight, causing a small chain reaction.
As the barrage of thorns sparked and burst into flames, the blazing shards of hardened and pointed wood continued in their path, even if they didn't strike the clones directly, there was the chance of them hitting a puddle of oil near them, with the resulting explosion of flame possibly damaging one. And then there was the Invocation Of Fire, the red beam of chakra aimed towards the central clone's head. After launching this power attack, the side effects became apparent, the aura around the tail rapidly burning it, and when parts of the tail began to fall off, it was easy to see why Illovae rarely used the ability unarmoured. Whipping the tail slightly, Illovae sent the flaming end crashing into the vines she stood on, beating out the flames before returning her focus to the battle.

The battle field around the two combatants was now a vertiable war zone as the different pools of oil had started to ignite. Rai smiled as one of these pools erupted in front of him and he vanished behind the flames. Due to Rai's mastery of his dojutsu he was able to see through the flames as though they were not even there. That had been his one great weakness for a very long time the fact that heat in front of a person could block out other heat signatures behind. Rai had learned through countless trial and error that he could "focus" on seeing through heat signatures as well. Sort of like a person looking through a light mist.
The three clones that were sent at Illovae tried to dodge out of the way of the barrage. This works for the two on either side but not for the one in the center of the battle field. That one at first gets hit with the oil dripping thorns. Then it also gets blasted as well by the Invocation of fire jutsu that Illovae. 'She will make a great ally if she is able to use all of the elements. This will make for a very worth person to help me in the wipping out of my enemies. Plus if this is to work she will also gain untold power with me being the reason behind it.' Rai thinks to himself safe in his hidden spot.
The two clones on either side of her got rocked with debris from the explosions that the two S ranked ninja had caused. They were still effective though and started to run yet again trying to get with in her reach. These clones had one purpose to Rai and he still wanted them to do this purpose. Meanwhile from his hiding spot Rai was looking at the gash on his left leg. 'Well this is not the worst that I have ever been dealt that is for sure and it is a good thing that the she has not been using toxins... I think that her and I can come to some sort of an arrangement. Besides this is the first time in a long while that this body has been hurt.' Rai thinks with a feral smile showing on his lips. Rai takes his hand and focuses some healing chakra in it to heal the leg.

Illovae tsked slightly as two of the clones survived her attack, immediately shifting her attention away from the middle clone, which was already falling to the ground, the Invocation of Fire having burnt a gaping hole through its head and the flaming thorns embedded in its burning body. Raising both armoured hands to face towards the oncoming clones, Illovae watched as a large thorn grew out of each palm before shooting towards the clones, a long barbed vine attached to the thorn and following behind it. After the vines struck the clones in the chest, Illovae planed to hurl them aside, moving them out of her way and leaving the vines to destroy them, with the thorned tendrils constricting to crush them. Judging from how easily the other clone had been dispatched, there shouldn't be too much difficult with these two, and now with Rai finally out in the open, she could truly focus on her foe.
Several vines rose from the ground around the fallen clone, wrapping around its body and flinging it towards Rai in an attempt to distract him from Illovae's true attack. With some slight movements of her tail, Illovae manipulated the shelter she had created earlier, moving the vines to shift the webbing so it completely surrounded the oil it had collected. A second movement sent a new set of vines wrapping around the webbing, holding it in place to prevent the oil from spilling out. A third twitch sent the bundle of vines and its flammable contents hurtling towards the fire in front of Rai, in hopes that the resulting explosion as the oil burnt would damage him somewhat.

Rai looks up and sees his other two clones becoming nothing more than overgrown soil samples for her vines. 'Well that was just not what I wanted to happen.' Rai thinks to himself. Rai says making some hand seals as he sees her vines start to wrap around the clone a good way in front of him. Diamond Release: Diamond Armor. A thin sheet of Diamond covers his skin like Garaa's sand armor but this armor allows movement and does not cause a problem with the speed at which Rai can travel. (this jutsu is based on the rock armor jutsu)
Rai is still standing there as the clone is chucked at him. He dodges the biggest parts of the clone and then stands up just as she sends the oil into the fire infront of Rai. The resulting explosion throws Rai nine feet back from where he is standing now and cracks his Armor. Rai is making more seals though and now decides to up the stakes as he sinks into the ground. Rai's voice is heard all around the area. "Diamond forest no jutsu." Diamonds start to shoot out of the ground in the same pattern that Kimimaro does for his last dance. The Diamonds produced this way are a dark red to almost black as though these Diamonds were no more than Dried blood crystals. These Diamonds are very sharp and are shooting up with a good speed. Not fast enough that she cant dodge but one that she probably wouldnt make it into the air in time.
Rai has been thinking that he needs to get her to move more so that she cant use the network of vines that she has made. This jutsu should chop and slice that network to shreds to making it so that he needs to waste more chakra into making another one.

Illovae disconnected the vines she had used to grab the clones, watching as her bundle of oil exploded upon entering the flames, a massive blast of fire and air knocking Rai backwards. As her opponent stood up, Illovae watched for a moment as he prepared another jutsu, hands moving quickly as he completed the seals. With a sudden roar of earth, the jutsu was completed, a diamond spike spearing out of the earth beneath her and slashing her chest armour, only her quick reflexes saving her from impalement. Even her reflexes couldn't save her from injury though, she had avoided being impalement but still suffered a long slash along her chest, a small amount of blood trickling out of the slashed vines before they quickly regrew, the armour repairing itself as Illovae ascended once more, thorny wings beating rapidly as she launched herself towards the sky.
From her position above the battlefield, Illovae watched as the ground was quickly covered in towering shards of diamond pierced the earth. With all the trees in the area already dead, and most of the grass charred or burning, the damage done to the battlefield severely reduced Illovae's ability to use the natural energy to reduce her Kekkai Genkai's chakra drain. She needed to finish this quickly, or she would be forced to change back to a lesser form to conserve chakra. Still, there was enough life left in the grass and several of the more distant trees for one final form... The grass began to wither within the volcano's crater, shriveling up as the vines in her armour began to twist and grow. The armour around the arms enlarging, with long thorns growing on the outside, rising for a bit before curving to become parallel with the arm and maintaining that alignment for a few centimeters. As the shoulder 'plating' shifted, long thorns jutting out to the side and a more curved surface making the armour less restrictive for battle, the thorns guarding the elbows became more jagged, more lethal, lengthening even further as the armour continued to change. The wings grew in size, their already large span enhanced by the long thorns that grew from the tip of each finger of the wing. The helmet altered slightly, with the lower half changing and teeth-like thorns giving it an imposing, demonic look. Finally, from the fingertips a thorn extended, long and sharp like a talon and immensely strong, with Illovae's few tests in this experimental form."Zerstörer Dornen" Destroyer's Thorns. Where Dornenzorn, the third form, expands the destructive power and increases its range, Zerstörer Dornen compresses it. Packing the immense power of the Kekkai Genkai into the armoured form.
Flapping her wings once more, Illovae flew towards Rai, swerving and dodging the rising towers of diamond as the last of the plants in the area died, their energy consumed to move into this form. As she neared the center of the attack though, the shards of diamond seemed to rise more often, and in greater concentration, making dodging far more difficult with several towering diamonds slashing Illovae's wings. Finally passing through the last of the diamond protrusions, Illovae suddenly rose once more, her opponent having vanished at some point during his attack, or perhaps even when she was entering her next form. With a slight screech of annoyance, Illovae stabbed her claws at a nearby pillar of diamond, the hardened tips piercing the carbon surface and shattering it. Rising once more, Illovae moved out of range of the pillars, waiting for Rai to show himself once more.

(No offense but I think you missed a very vital part of my last jutsu.... I sink into the ground to cause this jutsu that is because there is a second part of it that your dodge makes well... un-needed... )
