"Mind control, eh? That's a pretty dangerous power, rare too. I knew when I saw you Kayla that you had some magical potential in you. I can see your mind is thinking that you are nervous about your powers. Don't worry, Headmaster Hathens and I will help you with that. Let's start now. What kinds of people can you use your mind controlling with? What other powers have you noticed about yourself and the school? I can tell your nervous. Don't be. Here, pull up a chair. "Headmaster, my teaching class has gone pretty well. I set a due date for the History test I put up for them, and 3 didn't take it. I gave them a warning, if they fail once more, then It'll be marked down in the grade book. The ones who took it were Kayla, Rose, Laura, and Alasse."

We cannot let Anyone in this academy know that you've found your powers. They will be jelous, and want to see your powers. If you show them, their mind will be yours to control, without you knowing how. That will change in a few weeks.

Alasse nervously walked to Professor Nikki's door. She knocked before asking, "May I come in?"

Professor Nikki walked to the door to let Alasse come in.
"Alasse, please sit in the chair at my desk. Your not in any trouble. I just wanted to ask, what have you seen unusually about yourself? And, why do you think you don't have any powers?"

Alasse nodded and walked over and took a seat. Her pet Nibi followed her and sat by her. "I haven't seen anything unusual..." She answered, petting Nibi's head. "I don't think I have any powers, because I never was raised any way but in defense... and there aren't any powers in defense... right?"

Alasse stopped petting Nibi on the head, causing the fox to look at her. "Death?" She asked. "Death in defense, professor?"

"Yes, Alasse, you can make a death spell. It makes a forcefield around you, and whatever spell that your opponent makes, it'll go back at them, plus death."

Alasse shuddered at the thought of killing someone. "I hope I don't have that deadly power..." She said. Doesn't a regular forcefield do that too, minus death? Return spell attacks to the opponent, I mean? She thought as she got up from her chair and left the office with Nibi.
