Hanzo Komeiji What? No love for the likes of Caladbolg, Gram, Azoth, and such? Those are mythical blades, just not as well-known by many. Wotan's probably the only person who knows the story of Gram, aside from myself. It used to belong to Odin himself Y'know. I actually am thinking of replacing tyrfing with Caledbolg after reading up on it.
I already have the Caledfwlch/Excaliber... But, it still might be a good idea. I'll think about it.
Also, I'm letting Wotan keep the Norse theme.Tenshi Hinanawi Humans trying to be on equal terms with other touhous by learning danmaku is always hilarious to watch. lol Sooner or later I'll be able to do it without having the charm helping me.
Or it'll just burn deeper into my arm and be the reason I can use danmaku.
Either way.

Well, Remi's got Gungnir, and Flan's got the Levantine(Or any other way you spell it), so Wotan's not the only guy with Norse stuff.
Besides, Gram's notoriously bad for fighting deities. It got used against Odin and broke because of it. So thusly, it'd be a flawed attack, kinda like "Icicle Fall ~ Easy".
....Well, until it gets repaired that is.
And Azoth was said to be THE Alchemist's Sword, used by Paracelsus himself. It's unknown at what's inside the pommel though, some think that it holds a miracle panacea, others think it contains THE Laplace's Demon, but nobody knows for sure.

Colm Cygnat Also, I'm letting Wotan keep the Norse theme. Well, the fact I'm going to use the Norse theme doesn't mean you can't use Norse weapons. I should make a thread about my character (who is named after this Gaia account and looks just like it) as soon as I finish him. The thing is, I don't want to post unfinished stuff and I want to design each spell card in Danmakufu... so yeah, it'll take me a very, very long time. sweatdrop

I'd do the same but.....There's several things stopping me.
#1: I have no knowledge of C. #2: I can't read Japanese. #3: Thusly, I cannot program in Japanese. #4: I'm a very lazy and easygoing guy.

Hanzo Komeiji I have no knowledge of C. I don't know C either. The Touhou and Danmakufu Wiki have lots of tutorials about it, anyways. Who knows... I might end up making fake spellcard screenshots in Photoshop (which I do know how to use to a fairly good extent), that should be enough for a simple OC as well.

I'm literally doing the opposite of you, I "announced" my character literally mid-development so I could find ways to develop him. Although that time of being "complete" is probably running towards me.
A random thought, you know anyone who could make some custom TH style portraits and sprites? Not that I know how to use danmakufu or how to mod TH12.3, but just wondering.

Hm....you could ask around in the art threads of gaia, chances are you'd find someone who can.

Huh, I'll do that later... The only problem is I don't really have the gold to pay anyone... ^^;; I'll work it out. =w=
Also, other then the first two cards, I'm clueless on how the other two will work. (>;=w=)>

Well, for that spellcard "Heavenly World-Creating Jeweled Spear", you might try borrowing some inspiration from Remi, she's got a spear-based one too.
As for the art, I suggest selling stuff you no-longer need or use.

Colm Cygnat I remember thinking something like this when Ran said to scrap that card. Her reasoning though, was I had more cards then most stage 6 bosses. Are you comparing Michael to a stage 6 boss? I'm comparing Wotan to an Extra boss, since that gives me much more freedom for making backstories. I'll probably give him either 8 or 10 spellcards. Colm Cygnat you know anyone who could make some custom TH style portraits and sprites? Not really. Luckily, if there's one thing that's sort of cheap in Gaia, it's art. As for the character sprite, most pixel artists on Gaia should be able to do it if you show them samples from Touhou games. The portrait should be fairly easy.

I could, but the problem is I don't want a character that's OMGWTFBBQHAX, I want one that seems plausible. He might work his way up to a stage 6, but for his current standing he's [going to be] a stage 4 or so.

Well, mine has the ability to be a Stage6/Ex-Boss, but his power's so completely random that his ranking varies depending on what he pulls out of his Subspace Rifts. They're like Gaps, only much more random in what they spit out.
He has pulled out a fake, Blood-Red Moon before though. But that was completely random.
...Yes, I actually do randomize the Subspace Rift's Effect.

Sooner or later. He will find a bigger sword. When that day comes. He will slide further up the stage-gradings.
But he'd still be a stage 4 boss in a game. His alignment is probably like, "lawful neutral" or something like that. He wouldn't cause problems.
Stage would probably be really short, and he'd have an extra spell-card or two to make up for it.

New page~! unfinished entry, though. Also, even though it's supposed to just be a recollection of events, I think it's rather crappy. But it gets the point across, amirite? Day 50 First thing I decided this morning was I was going to visit the shrine again. After a quick breakfast, I packed up a quick snack for later, and flew off. [unfinished]
