There was a flash in Andrews mind it was of his old life. He was in auto-shop the room filled with all the things he loved and then the walls started to melt and the people turned into the doctor that did countless test on him. Finally the room turned into where he was now "Andrew.....Andrew you can start now" he looked at what looked like a mirror. "Oh" Andrew's voice was deep for height and it sounded raspy from the days without water from his last test when he attacked the nurse with the scraps, there was a scar beneath her uniform above her breast. Andrew started to grab pieces of scrap and weld them together. After a few ten minutes he held a large hammer in his hand and a few more items, including a small home maid SMG, on the table "I'm done.....Can I leave?" the crackle filled the room "No Andrew you still have more work to do. Nurse prep him for transportation to the other room."

Sian sighed and looked at Shale. "I'm a death angel, must you know. I've been here since I was 7 I guess. So, what are you then?"He asked her and stood up.

Darkness Surrounds"I'm just a plain old dark angel. Boring, huh?" Shale stated, shrugging her shoulders slightly. "You've been here a long time. I've only been here for about nine months. They obviously don't do as 'vigorous' of testing on you. A Doctor tried to remove my wings once. Without anesthesia." She turned around again and pushed down the straps of her dress, showing Sian the thick and terrible scars that ran everwhere on her back. "Lovely, aren't they?" Shale spat, looking over her shoulders at the scars, painful memories of her months in the Hospital. Death Abounds

He wa;led over to her and looked at her wings. "You poor thing. Does it still hurt?"he mumbled as he traced the scars with his finger.

Darkness Surrounds"Not really. The memories are the worst part..." Shale muttered, silently cursing the Doctors that had taken her to the Hospital, flashes of blood and terrible pain running through her mind. She pushed up her straps again and sighed in defeat. " Now what? Should we just wait until they come back? I've been to a room like this before, and I collapsed with exhaustion trying to get out. Can you do anything, like, amazing and miraculous?" she asked softly, rubbing her arms in the cold and barren room. Death Abounds

He put his hand down and said "I can control the elements if that would help. Hold on" He concentrated on something and the bounds on his wings broke. "Ahh. That feels better."he said stretching his wings. "Alright."

Darkness Surrounds"Why didn't you do that in the first place?" Shale asked, exasperated. She rolled her eyes, but in good humor, and paced the room and waited for whatever Sian would do. The inky black feathers on her own wings rustled impatiently, making a noise that sounded like leaves blowing in the wind. Death Abounds

"You didn't ask"he mumbled as he shuffled to the door. He out his hands on it and concentrated on his power and the door burt open. "There, you happy now?"he asked as he pointed to the busted door.

Darkness SurroundsShale slapped a hand to her face and heaved a great sigh. "Actually, yes, I am happy. Thanks for asking," she said sarcastically, rolling her eyes again. Shale stopped pacing and ran out the door. Looking over her shoulder, she yelled to Sian, "Coming?" But with a loud thud, Shale ran smack into the biggest Doctor she had ever seen and she fell right on her butt. He probably stood seven feet tall, and was built like a body builder. Shale stopped breathing in fear and backed away until she hit a wall. Whimpering, she hid her face in her hands and the Doctor approached her threateningly. He lunged forward and grabbed her by the wings, wrenching Shale off the floor. She screamed in pain and clawed behind her head at the Doctor's hand, but it wouldn't budge. Shale resolved to just hanging and trying not to cry from the terrible pain. Death Abounds

A few doctors and nurses came into the room with a grey steel cart on top of the cart was a small cage made for dogs. They grabbed Andrew's lifeless body and threw it into the cage. Andrew was apathetic about everything now since he saw another patient die next to him on his first day. The nurse with the scar locked the cage with a reinforced pad lock. The cart was followed by a large doctor then as the cart was pushed down the hall. The doors that were fifteen feet away burst open and a winged girl walked out. "wow" Andrew's voice crack for a split second but it was noticeable. This was not love at first site for him but the act that people could break down the doors of this place astonished him.

Darkness SurroundsShale wiped silent tears out of her eyes and looked up at the cage on the cart. She furrowed her eyebrows and resumed her fight, starting to scream, "Let go of me! This isn't fair!" The Doctor clapped his hand over her mouth and she bit down on his fingers, tasting blood in her mouth. He yelled and dropped Shale on the ground, who landed with a loud thud. She stood and blinked around, dazed, but got her bearings and stood straight. Shale flexed her wings and the binds flew off with a sharp snap. In a panic, she looked around and saw no place to go. More Doctors were filing in, and one was running towards her with a syringe in his hand. Shale cried out and tried to run back towards the room, but the Doctor tackled her and stuck the needle in her arm, injecting the liquid. Her vision turned gray in a matter of seconds and she lay limply on the floor. Death Abounds

Sian ran out of the room and tackled the doctor to the ground. He used his power to control the metal on the ground to binds hthe doctors body to the ground. He picked up Shale in a princess-carry and flew to his room thinking, " Why am I saveing her? I barely know her..." as he laid her down on his bed. He sat on the floor watching Shale, waiting for her to come to.

Darkness SurroundsShale groaned softly and sat up in the bed, rubbing her forehead. A terrible pain was shooting through her head, making her see bright stars behind her closed eyelids. She opened her eyes and closed them right afterward, the light making her headache worse. Shale groaned again and fell backwards, covering her face with her hands. "Are the Doctors gone?" she asked softly. Death Abounds

"Yeah. For now that is. It will take while for the other doctors to find the one that gave the shot to you." He said as he looked out the dirty window. He looked back at Shale and walked towards her. He sat on the side of the bed and asked "Are you okay? What was that shot?"

Darkness SurroundsShale sat up again slowly, her headache growing weaker. She opened her eyes, blinking away the blurriness. "Chances are it was a form of some benzodiazepine. In small doses it is used to treat insomnia, but it can completely knock you out in larger quantities." Groaning softly, she rubbed her forehead for the last time and crossed her legs in front of her. "Hey, did you get the chance to see what was in that dog crate? I've never seen them transport... well, anything in a dog crate."Death Abounds
