Thank you, MoonlightNinja! The colors for Jupiter weddings are as follows: Pink, green, turquoise, yellow, blue topaz, silver, and indigo blue.
Auspicious symbols are: Laurel leaves, oak leaves, roses, cherry or plum blossoms, cranes, phoenixes, kitsune (foxes or fox spirits), orchids, lightning bolts, and bamboo. Women usually wear the birds/flowers.
Bridesmaids wear pastel colors. The Maid of Honor wears a pale pink or blue topaz colored dress.
Before the wedding, the couple also makes offerings to the gods for good luck, and auspicious dates are foretold. The families exchange gifts.
The best man wears a hakama or tuxedo, indigo blue.
Courses are as follows: 1st: Soup/stew, and wedding cake 2nd: Salads and breads 3rd: Appetizer foods 4th: Seafood 5th: Main entree, usually pastas and pizzas 6th: Poultry dish, and a vegetarian course for those who don't eat poultry 7th: After-appetizers and sweets 8th: Dessert and more wedding cake

Wow... I need to come up with mine. And I don't think I'd be able to make after the 3rd course.

I'd imagine that some people would skip courses to make room for the foods they really want to eat. ^^

Aww, really? Sadly, I don't think vow renewing happens very often, since it's such a big affair. I haven't even gotten into the details of the reception yet! There are speeches by the bride and groom, and the bride also performs some sort of entertainment--poetry reading, dancing, singing, an instrument, whatever she's good at. The bride and groom each take a few sips from the same cup--different sides, which is based on a Shinto tradition called san-san-kudo. There is of course dancing and traditional music. It's a blend of Indian, Japanese, Celtic, and Chinese music. Though not all are mixed together at once. That wouldn't sound too good, I don't think. But Celtic is mixed with each.
I have heard Twelve Girls Band mix Chinese and Celtic, and it's beautiful. I've also heard Indian and Celtic mixed, and I love that as well--Loreena McKennitt, my favorite artist, did that.

I know just the item for you, if you don't already have it. It's called "Winter Rose." It's a white rose that includes a bouquet and a wedding-like dress that resembles a rose as poses!

Yeah, I had once had a Gaia wedding on here in this guild. And a anonymous benefactor sent me a Winter Rose for my wedding dress. ^>^
@Houou - your food courses make me hungry. ^.^
