Zo nodded. Hopefully by then her wing would have healed enough to fly. If not, she intended to start walking. It wouldn't be safe for her to remain here long than that.
She blinked as he came over and offered his assistance. He didn't have to, but he had. Zo eyed the spot where she wanted to build. It really wasn't so much as building as re-enforcing.
"That's very kind of you. If you could assist me in moving that big log there and nudging it up a foot to rest there that would be extremely helpful. I can do the rest after that." She smiled at him, and moved over to the log in question. It was already some feet off the ground, but to make a smaller area that would be tall enough comfortably for her it had to move.

"It's not a problem," he said. "Sure, I can help."
He went to the log and waited for her to direct him on how to help, just so he didn't move it the wrong way.

She nodded then pointed her nose to where she wanted him to push. "Right there please. Need to get it up on that ledge above it."
Zosime watched him take up his position. Furling her wings tightly, she came to stand beside him and picking her spot to push. "Alright, one...two....three!" On three the mare gave a mighty shove up. The log nearly reaching half way.

He pushed on her count in the direction she had directed. With his added help, they managed to get the log in place the way she wanted.
"Well, there you go," he said, "I'll be going now. Best wishes to you." He turned to go, but paused, and turned back to her. "If we ever meet again, I hope it's under better circumstances." he said with a chuckle. "I shall definitely learn from this experience, and watch myself better during a windy flight. I hope your wing mends fast, and again, I'm sorry about our ...confrontation." he said, giving her a small smile.

Zosime stood back to look at their handy work. It would do.
"Thank you very much, and I do hope we will meet again." She ducked her head a little. "Good luck to you on you're travels aswell." Zo smiled.
"It will, thank you for the concern. May your wing also mend. I too learned something from our meeting." With the log in place and her parting said, she turned to the task of making her makeshift home liveable for the next day or so.

He nodded to her as well, and left, finding his way home on foot instead of flight. It would take a lot longer this way, but his wing needed to mend.
He thought back on their brief interaction and the degrees of intensity it had taken. To look back at it now it was nearly comical how they had smashed into each other in the air, almost came to blows once on dry land and then he had ended up helping her at the end. What a day, and one he wouldn't soon forget.
FIN!
