Saya was almost past the Pokemon Center when she noticed what appeared to be a Solarbeam. She quickly ran into the Pokemon Center " What happened here?" She looked over at the fried jigglypuff "Judging from how jigglypuff looks, it must have been the cause of all this."

After what seemed like an hour, the sceptile woke up and stretched. Dee said, "Now that was a nice nap. Oh, look! Our work is not quite finished yet. See? See behind the counter here? Nurse joy and her Chansey are both tied up! I am going to use cut to free them from their bonds. Everyone, please form some sort of meet and greet line up."

Pika was still out cold, though. Nurse Joy better known as Joy Viridian rubbed her wrists as soon as Dee performed her move. Dee asked, "Are you okay, Nurse Joy?"

Joy blinked for a moment and asked, "Y-You can talk?"

Dee giggled, "Of course I can talk. The world is not what it once was. Humans all over are being turned into Pokemon if they have entered the Pokemon lands. Trainers are going missing too! We can already rule out Team Rocket. I mean, Jessie, James, and the original talking Pokemon Meowth could never pull a stunt like this so perfectly. I mean, we know they are bad, and they like Pika here for some reason, but other than that...no, I think there is a bigger crime syndicate involved here. My name is Dee. I had lost some of my memories when I was turned into a sceptile. Hey, I am not complaining. I love this form to be honest! But, this isn't really about me. Its about saving this world from a disaster. Obviously, that jigglypuff that got toasted like the marshmallow it is, was involved in your capture. When it wakes up, it will be back to normal. Normally, a Pokemon like Jigglypuff don't attack people like that. Not since the Shadow Pokemon incident."

Joy asked, "You know about that?"

Dee nodded, "Of course I do. Pika seems to think I am really empress dee. The empress dee that got caught up in this web of nastiness. I am not sure if I can even use my original powers to transform out of the sceptile form, but even if I can, I won't. I want to help the others and try being a Pokemon for a change."

Joy smiled and said, "Oh, is that Pikachu whom I think it is? Is that Ash's Pikachu?"

Dee nodded, "Yeah, that's Pika. Ash went missing on the day that this disaster started apparently. He freaked out on Pika and fled. Now Pika is really concerned about Ash. Can't say I blame the little guy to be honest. I mean if my husband Terry had gone missing for that long, I'd be worried too. Then again, I think right now, I am fused with my husband. I know how to change humans into Pokemon, but I wouldn't do that unless they asked me to. So I can tell you right now I am innocent. Besides, I am a pokemon too against my will. Though I am enjoying the adventure I am getting out of it."

Pika began to come to. "Oh..." he groaned, "Ouch. That hurt. Okay, are we done here? May we move on to the Pewter City gym? Nurse Joy... if you hear anything on my trainer Ash, please inform me at once. Send your chansey to find me if you hear word. We will be following the routes in order."

Joy smiled then replied, "I sure will. Oh, let me heal you first."

*A few seconds later*

"Bye bye, take care!" Nurse Joy exclaimed as Saya, Kona, Dee, and Pika all left for Pewter City. Little did they know, someone was watching them from the shadows.

Kona looked at the Jigglypuff. "I guess it is," he said to Saya. He walked up to Dee. "Hey, wait up,"Kona yelled to Dee and Pika. "I had a dream, with a Piplup in it saying 'the sea is a mystery'," he said looking at them both.

(I wanna join this, this looks like fun!)

Hiding in the tall grass, blocked by a stupid tree, was the talking Meowth, Jessie and James. Meowth overheard the conversation and said to his cohorts, "Did you hear that? That ninetails has a Poke' egg and she's gotta take it to Professor Oak."

Jessie then added, "Err.. yes, but how come can I understand Pokemon now?"

Meowth replied, "Its because this world is all topsy turvy now. Trainers all over the place are becoming Pokemon depending on their best attributes and whether or not they are locals. That Sceptile over there, that's really Empress Dee in disguise."

James asked, "E-empress Dee?"

Meowth nodded, "Yeah. Apparently, she's the only foreign trainer who has been through every single region of this here world. She has a ton of badges and a true champion. When the chaos started, she was just on her way to see Oak when her and Terry got fused together."

Jessie asked, "How do you know that Meowth?"

Meowth replied, "It was in today's Almia Times, and I suppose the Rangers haven't been affected yet."

James asked next, "So, what are you saying Meowth? Do you have a plan?"

Meowth nodded, "As a matter of fact, I do. You know how we are always disguising ourselves and we are always tryin to nab that Pikachu, but we always fail?"

Jessie said, "Yeah, so?"

Meowth continued, "I was just thinkin, maybe we oughta try being friends with them. If we turn over a new leaf for a change, maybe we won't get blasted as much, and maybe, just maybe we will score that Pikachu without having to steal it."

James looked onward and said, "So, basically befriend the twerps and score honestly?"

Meowth nodded, but didn't say anything further. Jessie shrugged her shoulders then said, "Well it is worth a shot. After all, our Pikachu that we want so badly has lost his trainer. So, it really wouldn't be fair to just take it without a fight."

Meowth used cut and got rid of the tree. He held up a white flag saying, "We've come in peace! Jessie, James, and I wanna help you guys for once. I know we are usually the bad guys, but we really want to know what it feels to be the good ones for a change."

Pika wanted to zap the three to blast off, when Dee held her lizard like hand in front. She said, "Pika, I say we trust them just this once. Besides, these three are so good at blasting off someplace that if we say send them in first to our dangerous areas, we will know if there is actually any. And if they try anything bad, we give them what for. Cool?"

Calming down Pika sighed, "Okay, but you know who these three are, right?"

Dee nodded, "Yeah, I do. Oh, and Saya, I apologize for confusing you with Kona. I was a bit dizzy."

Saya closed the flap on the saddle bag. She turned to Kona " I don't know. Professor Birch didn't say" She then turned and growled at Team Rocket " If you make one wrong move, I'll do the same thing to you I did to Team Aqua and Team Magma"

The egg just moved a little bit in the bag.
