Oh great, this was going to be a pain in his butt. “Um… I don’t…” No don’t say that you might get her upset and then what would you do with her? ‘Leave her here… Noo, I couldn’t do that….’ Shaking his head lightly Vaughn got up and slowly backed away, “You are going to following me okay, just… keep your eyes… on me at all times…” ‘And as soon as I can find her family then I won’t have to deal with my shaking and fear… Which has lessened… Wonderful.’ His thoughts continued on that kind of path as he slowly backed away.

Follow him? Mavican tipped her head to the side, he was really acting weird. And why was he walking backwards like that? He couldn't even see where he was going, so how could he lead her to wherever it was they were going. But he was an adult and therefore she had to trust in his judgment. "Okay." She said with a shrug before practically bouncing after him. Though she had to bounce side to side more than forward because he was walking so terribly slow.

Smiling Vaughn was happy that at least one of his plans was working out now all he needed to do was get it so she could lead him to her family. Urge but with her memory that would mean he’d be stuck with her forever. Slowing to a stop Vaguhn glanced around, “Mavican do you want to play a game?” Maybe he could somehow do his best to trick her into follow him or him following her, and him still leading… But how would that work?

Mavican perked up as he stopped an mentioned playing a game. Oh she loved games! And thought she was much younger than Vaughn she was certain she could win. "Yeah!" She barked happily, bouncing about in excitement. She kept this up for a few moments before coming to a stop, smiling widely. "Let's play tag!" She exclaimed, the jumped forward, tapping his leg with her paw and then as quickly as she could turned and ran off. "You're it!" She yelled as her paws carried her quickly around a nearby tree and disappeared out of view.

Glancing around trying to keep track of the devilish female before him, and then suddenly he could see it in slow motion. The female before him jumped towards him tapping his paw and he could feel his nerves die a little inside, but thankfully enough the touch was short. ‘I was touched by a female…’ His blood left his head and he could feel a faint coming on but surprisingly he didn’t… Smiling Vaughn panted his energy pumping through his veins now, ‘I didn’t faint…’ And happily he jumped after the little pup to catch her. “Here I come!”

Mavican was running through the trees as fast as her little puppy paws could carry her. She couldn't exactly remember why she was running, but she didn't feel scared so it must be just for fun. At least that's what she thought until she heard that voice call out 'Here I come!' then she began to panic. Someone was after her, but who? The voice didn't sound familiar to her. Her eyes darted around looking for any place to hide from the owner of that scary voice. Ah, there's a good place. And as quickly as she could Mavican crawled into a hole she found. The hole was small, clearly the old home of some smaller animal, but being a small puppy she managed to squeeze her way down to the bottom, then turned around to face the entrance, hoping that whatever was chasing her wouldn't find her.

Happily chasing after the little pup Vaughn hoped along until Mavican’s smell was the strongest, stopping on a dime Vaughn shoved his nose to the ground sniffing around quite thoroughly. His fur puffed as he could sense the small female pup, she smelled frightened? But not so much, this was such an odd pup the ones back in his pack were proud little ones who would best anything and only hated it when their parents barked or howled at them. Finally getting through the rough patches of bushes and thick grass around Vaughn was able to get to the pup, “Found you!” Smiling Vaughn felt proud of himself, he was playing a game with a female, she was a pup but she was still a female! Glancing into the hole Vaughn frowned, ‘Crap she probably forgot who I was again…’

She nearly yelped in yeah as the blue male appeared at the hole, head bend down so that he could see her. But she help that yelp back, knowing that showing fear would only make it worse. Trying to back up Mavican found that she was already wedged in the back of this small hole. Her eyes narrowed and she let out the loudest growl she could muster. "Get away!" She barked and reached out with her paw, claws aiming for the only part of him that was close enough to hit and that was his nose. And before he could do anything else she let out a scream for help. "MOMMY!" Her piercing voice echoed about the small hole she was trapped in making her ears ring slightly.

Wincing Vaughn tried to jump back to dodge but the quick little pup was faster then he thought and he was hit across the nose almost like he had done something wrong. ‘Great she did forget him…’ Glancing around Vaughn tried to find something bright and happy that could distract her into believing he wasn’t harmful. There was nothing, backing away Vaughn laid against the ground pressing his body almost into a submissive gesture, who would have thought Vaughn to try and convince a little female pup to befriend him again for the second time in his life. “I’m not going to hurt you… I swear…” Calming voice, “I’m here to help you find your mom!”

Mavican wasn't falling for it. His submissive pose and words weren't getting her to come out of this hole. Not now, not ever. "No you're not!" She yelled out at him. "You are trying to take me away. You're a bad wolf!" Letting out another angry puppy growl. Of course Mavican was a bit worried about what would happen if someone didn't come to her rescue. Would this scary blue wolf try to dig her out of her hiding hole? And if he did that what would he do then, take her away to some far away pack? Or worse fear her to some horrible monster that lurked within some deep dark cave somewhere.

Sighing Vaughn shook his head standing up and glancing around, what could he possibly do to get this little Mavican to understand that he wasn’t going to hurt her? In fact since he had such a fear of females she probably had more control over him then he would ever have of her. “I swear I’m not going to hurt you… Look I will even allow you to bite me if that’s what it takes.” He was trying to think up what the pups in his old pack went through when they became afraid, the down side was that none of them ever really became afraid at anything.

She had to get away but how. Her call for help had gone unanswered so it was clear that she was not close enough to home for anyone to have heard it. Running out of her hiding hole could work if she made it past him before he was able to snatch her up, but he was an adult and could easily outrun her. There wasn't much she could do...unless. "You lie, you're gonna eat me!" She yelled out from the hole before turning around, her back now facing the entrance of the hole and began to frantically dig. Dirt came flying out of the hole as Mavican tried her best to lengthen the hole in an attempt to escape him somehow. If she could just dig the hole out so it was long enough for her to have another exit she would eb free.

Sighing Vaughn knew there was no helping this situation, taking a step back he could feel his honor impulses pull at him to stay to help this pup but his fear and her forgetful tendencies made it harder for him to stay. Glancing around Vaughn took in a deep breath of the area, no threats around so the pup would be safe… But would she remember to eat when she got hungry? Or clean herself? Dashing off into the woods Vaughn traced the tracks of a small animal wanting to make sure the pup had at least a meal before he left her. Or ‘seemingly’ left her.
