The poor thing. it's parents must have gone off to fight the darkness. How foolish of them, to leave their pup alone here.
Her dark thoughts seemed to lighten as she looked into his eyes, like the clear blue of a summer sky. they brought up images of sitting in the topmost boughs of an ancient tree, the wind whipping her fur and the sweet smell of honey, dripping from a hive broken by a marauding bear.
She shook her head to pull out of the reverie. There were more important things to be done than to escape in fits of random daydreaming. The pup looked famished. "Would you like something to eat?" She remembered the carcass of a deer she'd felled only that morning. She was only half-done and there was more than enough for the pup.

xxxxxIcarus backed up slightly as the female adult simply stared into his eyes. He became slightly intimidated and flattened his ears as he tilted his head to one side. Moments after the adult had offered him sustenance, his stomach roared with hunger. Merely mentioning the idea of eating reminded him of his needs and he whined loudly. With a vigorous nod he managed to make his entire body shake. "Eat, please." He said in a quiet bark. He pawed at the adult's lavender nose as if urging her to help him. Icarus anxiously wagged twitched his tail side to side between his hind legs.
{{Alright xD Good luck studying! I might just have him discover the deer and bound over or something x_x Unless Taki wants to offer something.}}

Rouqie's heart melted as the poor pup pawed at her nose. She licked his paw and then his forehead, softening out a knot which had formed in his pretty orange fur.
"This way, little one." She beckoned and led the way out of the clearing towards the deer. "We will continue this discussion later." She said to Taki and the young pup who'd emerged so mysteriously. Also, she suddenly had a sensation that the air around her grew colder, harder even, like the sun was suddenly very, very far away. She shuddered lightly and continued into the forest, the orange pup whining at her ankles. ((Ok, now i'm going lol. If this keeps up Rouqie might end up adopting Icarus >_<))

xxxxxIcarus closed his eyes lightly as he was licked. The sensation brought back a wave of memories about his mother. It felt similar to being groomed and he adored that touch. He opened his eyes and peered at the adult gratefully. It had been then that he noticed the eeire atmosphere forming around them. The fur on the back of his neck stood on end, causing him to look around frantically. He released a nearly inaudible whimper as he followed the purple female. In reaction to his fear, a light warmth emanated from him. This warmth only came to him when he was panicked or uncomfortable as it provided a feeling of home that would calm him.
{{ xD Okay, see ya for real! D: I know, I just want to huggle Mr. Orange even though I technically did this to him c__c }}

The lone female pup sprinted through the forest. Her heart was raising as her paws pounded against the leave littered floor of the forest. The old nursemaid had wandered away from the selected dens and Cratea had tried to follow her. Something had jumped down from the tops of the dark trees that the pup had found herself in, startling her into her sprint. The pup was fast, one of the prized young of the Plains' Flyers. The multi-colored wolfling shivered mid-flight. Voices up ahead shattered the deathly silence that Cratea had known for so long. Orange and purple soaked through the trees. The little pup slowed, and carefully picked her way forward. Opps! Not careful enough. She stepped on a ginger twig and it snapped. The speed the wolfling was fleeing with disappeared as Cratea's mind froze. She stopped altogether.

  The forest was stranger to him then the land he could not breathe in. Everything was a different color, everything was a different sound, different. But he was sure she came this way. He had found an injured pup a few weeks ago by a near by lake, helped her back to health and they parted ways... But still he wanted to find her and makes sure she was alright, she was first wold in a long time that had spent so much time with him. There were a few wolves that came by the lake once and while, and told him stories, he enjoyed those times. But no one had stayed like that... for so long... He felt a bit lonely now... But he knew he couldn't stay with her... Just... Check in.
Yuma was moving through the forest, carefully, as she sniffs the ground. She was hunting, or trying to pick up on the herd of deer she had smelt earlier. She had a snack earlier, so she wasn't really in a rush... More like, trying to find the closest place to them so she could start out fast in the morning. It was then that she caught the whiff of an already dead dear nearby. She made her may towards the smell, picking up her pace. As she approached the spot, she slowed down and made her way to behind a tree, peering out to see a few wolves huddled around, talking to each other. Her ears fell to the side of her head, remembering the feeling of a pack. She missed hers.... But that's how it was. She just studied the wolves, wondering what they were up to.

Kora was a bit unsure how she should answer the question, because she wasn't really sure. She knew what happened to the rest of her family. The thought of her siblings fate made her shiver. She watched as the orange pup appeard and said his parents were gone, then ask for something to eat. "I don't know. There was darkness, and now littermates won't wake." she wispered after a while.
Seeing that the others were walking away, she jumped up and scrambled to follow.

As she helped the Orange pup to his meal, she noticed that they were not alone. the dark colored pup had followed them and, she saw two more wolves staring silently out of the forest. She motioned for them to joni, there was plenty for all, and she liked to share her kills.
"I'm sorry."She said quietly to the dark pup. "I see why you're so curious about a new pack. But I don't know", she glanced at Taki, "I don't know..." She lapsed into silence, letting her gaze slip back to the orange pup, once again she felt a strange mingling of fear and anticipation, as well as a cetain coldness which seemed to seep from the forest.

Something moved behind her and Cratea yelped, spinning around. Yet there was nothing there, nothing but the shadows and the thing that had jumped from the trees to chase her. The pup growled, her voice coming out more as a whimper though. Slowly, Cratea paced backward, away from the dark in the forest. Several times, she backed into a tree or a bush, her eyes transfixed on the shadows in the trees. The wolfling was a wuss, yes, but cowards sometimes live to see another day. And with all that had happened, Cratea had a right to be fearful. The multi-colored wolf turned, running head first into an another wolf, a blue pup. "Ow."

Kora started to nod, but then cocked her head. What was the purple wolf talking about? Starting a pack, or what had happened to her family and the orange pup's family? She pondered for a few moments without coming to a decision until she suddenly felt cold. She blinked, and took a step closer to the purple wolf.
Looking around, she saw that the sun was shining, and it shouldn't have been cold. So why was she?

Ceres treads lightly around the trees, thinking about what had caused her to be alone for all this time. She had once had a happy life with a pack, but was brutally chased out for something that she couldn't control. What exactly it was, she did not know, though she knew it that it was something unspeakable, something mysterious.
Her mind was suddenly pulled out of her depressing thoughts as her ears gently perked up. A low growl was heard close by, one that couldn't be mistaken, a young wolf pup. Her heart started to race as she thought of the possibilities, maybe should could find a new home, a new family. "How does one go about this?" Ceres thought to herself, "How do you start a conversation with a pack that isn't your own?" She started to worry, but tried to keep her mind clear, this was her chance to begin anew. She carefully walks over to where she had heard the low growl, and sees two young pups with a few fully grown adults. "Here goes nothing," she thinks to herself while gulping.
"Hello," she says as calmly as she could. She looks at all the wolves there while waiting for a reaction, hoping for the best.

  Haku jumped from fright, he had already been frightened as he could being alone in the forest with how young he was. And then something just came out from no where and smacked right into him. Haku tumbled backwards and growled viciously, his fur standing as he tried to be as ferocious looking as he could. But then stopped as he realized it was just another pup, a beautifully colored one. Really, he loved that blue in her fur. He calmed down and sniffed her, then moved forward, wagging his tail a bit, " Are you okay?" He asked he, tilting his head to the side.
Yuma walked saw the other female motion for the other wolves, including her, to join them. So she stepped forward. He wasn't much for talking, she just sniffed them and looked them over, examined them, not sure how to react to them. She just nodded at them, she didn't need the food though.

Cratea crouched low when the other pup snarled. Flattening her ears, the multi-colored pup whimpered before she caught a wiff of his scent. He wasn't a Dark creature! As he cut his growl, the female pup slowly returned to a more natural stance. A bird fluttered overhead, scaring Cratea's wits again. She tensed before realizing it was just a winged creature. Sniffing, she looked back at the blue pup with his wagging tail. "Who are you?" Never had the Flyer seen or smelt someone that smelled so odd. It was a very fishy scent.

Small paws padded the Terra as Poison Ivy hid in a bush. Camouflaged by greens and reds, her fur laid unnoticeable in the bushes until she stepped out and took a look around. Her golden orange orbs scanned the area. Another paw-step. Her tail twitched to the side and she slide out from the brush. She had fear of getting into trouble, odd for a young pup. She tried to stay out of it the best she could. Sticking her snout into the air, her nostrils flared with the scents around her, whiffing them, and taking them in for her to recognize.
