Taylor laughed in relief glad that there wasn't anything wrong with Shylock, he wanted his friend to be happy. "Mmm these guys are all pretty awesome although I'm not sure they've all be cleared for adoption yet. The pride spawn gestured with his still sticky tail towards the chocolate lab that was wagging it's tail furiously. " Cadbury has but people keep passing him up or bringing him back cause he wasn't socialized properly when he was little and he's not quite two and still in the puppy years sort of."

Dogs aged weird Taylor had learned. Even when their bodies were full grown it took their minds longer to catch up. He'd also learned it was important for them to play with other dogs a lot and learn good behavior as puppies or they became troublesome. It reminded him a lot of what Penny said about Mareike and how she wasn't good with people becuase she'd not met many when she was young.

" Oh, it means he didn't play with other dogs when he was small so he doesn't know how to behave around them most of the time." The dog was doing decent today but it had taken a long time for that to happen and it helped that he was surrounded by other more mature dogs that kept him calm. Taylor shrugged " He's got bad dog manners sometimes but he's learning." Cadbury rushed other dogs at the park less now and didn't jump all over them in an invitation to play.

The green banged boy crouched down and pet a small fluffy miniature poodle. " Shouldn't you ask your parents before you take something home though?" It was like how you weren't supposed to give people pets for presents. Then again maybe Shy lock's family had been looking for a pet and he didn't know it.

Taylor snorted "I'm not visiting anymore unless you muzzle them both" he teased. Truth be told he still didn't know what to make of Shylock's sister most of the time, babies were weird things he just didn't understand. Cute things yes but still mysteries for the pride spawn.

Taylor nodded toward a fenced in area of the park "We can let these guys off leash there and play with them if you want." Some of the dogs would just run around and play with the other dogs already in the run but some would stick near for tummy rubs or chase sticks if the boys chose to throw them.

It was another strange thing to Taylor the sort of simplicity dogs had, they were so happy just running after balls or sticks and all they seemed to want was love. Heck dogs even stuck with homeless people and seemed pretty happy then. Taylor wondered what it was like to subsist mostly on feelings like love.

Something inside the pride spawn made his gut twist just a little and a strange tingle shoot up his spine. damned if Taylor knew what that meant.

Taylor rolled his eyes and after letting the dogs off leash went to join Shylock on the bench. Despite being a pride spawn Taylor didn't find himself jealous often still as he lounged beside his childhood friend he found it hard not to be. The darker skinned boy seemed to radiate peace and a comfort with himself like he knew he was .. something. Something the green banged boy couldn't put a word too but that made him feel pleased and then unpleasantly stressed at the same time causing him to fluff up the feathers of his head wings in a perturbed manner.

"I'm not taking you to any more conventions with me " he muttered softly his tone still a bit teasing though. " No one would pay attention to me." The pebby skinned spawn supposed that was a bit of it of that jealous feeling that suddenly he felt as if people who watched the two of them were watching Shylock more and it irked him because.. well becuase it did. These people didn't know his friend and they shouldn't stare at him with that look in their eyes that made Taylor uncomfortable.

Taylor shrugged and dragged his claws along the ground " Dunno," he muttered then sighed. " Sorry this is supposed to be fun." Yet here he was all melancholy and thinking stupid things for no good reason. The spawn was just clearly out of sorts at this point.

Ahh yes this Taylor could talk about without issue. " I'm still not there yet with the score, there's some sort of hidden passageway I have to unlock to get some supplies so I can blow open the blast door to get to the next area and apparently there's a bonus for that which should get me where I want on story mode." The green banged boy reached up to tuck a few locks of hair behind his ear before he continued " I got the score I wanted in arena combat mode though even if I had to stay up late to do it and Penny caught me." It wasn't his fault though that racking up points took a long time and he'd only been up a half hour after he was supposed to be asleep.

" And yeah I had a lesson on how to fix a Flying car that was pretty cool and I added it to my list of stuff to make later after some of the portal and laser machines and whatnot." Taylor was going to be famous for his creations someday, he just knew it.

Taylor thought that if he ever became a game designer , not that he had any plans too, he'd avoid making things so difficult you needed to buy the damn guide for the game just to get past certain areas. " Thanks although when are you not button mashing?" he asked teasing a bit of his playful manner returning.
