He called out to the foxbuns, "Hey! That's not fair!" And then charged straight at them, as if trying to divide them up physically so that they could not chatter amongst themselves. They shouldn't be allowed to plot! He was trying to chase them afterall! He was trying to listen to the doe and learn how to do this properly. With the way that she held herself as she tried to teach him, she had to know what she was doing!
He shrugged, "She said something about never running into him anyway. Lives far away somewhere. Somewhere no one goes." He looked at her with squinted eyes for a moment and then grinned, "You mean... Pah! Like I wouldn't know if I bumped into family!" He scoffed, "Now Memory on the other hoof... well.. he can barely remember who I am, and I am by his side day in day out... buuuuut the crazy nut has some sort of sense to him..."
And just as he said that, Memory took off at full speed in a completely random direction, not even chasing a foxbun at this point! Where in the swamp....? Golden eyes widen as they realise where he is headed. Oh no! Not again! With that panicked thought, he turns his head to the darker doe and haphazardly explains and apologizes, "Sorry! He's not headed anywhere good. Gotta go get him. See you around, auntie!" That last bit is a guess, but a good one, demonstrating he isn't as dull as some might think he is. But after just a split second he is off and running after his sandy brother, calling after him and trying to get him to stop and listen to reason. No one needed to go trampling through an entire field of brambles again! You'd think he'd learn after the first time...
