Linuen Frost - Kei Aoi
Seventh Division, Third Seat - Memory

Falhannah smiled and then looked at Shizuka. "Shizuka-Taichou, we were created from memories of the past. Your abilities make us real in accordance to the memories of Linuen as he remembered before. You, of all people, should know that our thoughts during this timeline is as just as normal as it existed BEFORE we died." She responded to her question and then faced Linuen and Kei's direction once again. "However, knowing that we died fighting in the future is no different at all when we know that we will die in old age when we were all living beings. The feeling is mutual and normal, I can say. Kei-sama always had strange thoughts regarding everything that's why he knew something was strange in this 'reality'. I must admit, even myself didn't know that this was a reality created in the past of someone else." She added and then looked at the sky this time. Falhannah gave off a sigh.

There was a series of loud snapping sounds and shards of ice flung to the air once more. Kei Aoi stood looking at Linuen Frost, whom was shaking in fear uncontrollably. The young man's eyes stared at his Sensei with shock and astonishment. "Reckless, that is your weakness. Being a manipulator of the ice element doesn't mean you have superiority over water, Linuen-kun." Kei Aoi gently said as he raised his hands and ball of water appeared in his hands. "I'll give you an example." Linuen gasped in horror as he saw the water form into a watery spear as it floated before Kei's hands; he felt like running at once.

With a short moment, the watery spear shot to Linuen. Panicking on what to do, Linuen gave off a cry of horror and then waved his own spear and release a strong burst of cold reiatsu. But it was far too late when he realized a mistake; the water spear of Kei Aoi began ice as he expected it would be but it did not stop shooting at him. It was only a moment after when Linuen was struck by the frozen spear and got thrown in the air due to the intensity of the attack from Kei; the young man gave off a cry of pain at once.

"A perfect example of some of the disadvantages of ice. Though you can change its properties into solid, you can do almost nothing to twists the energy surrounding it. You can manipulate ice on some moments but that's because of your Zanpakutou's powers. However, when it came to water vs. ice fight, they are perfectly equal. Given the proper amount, I can melt you. Vice versa for you too." Kei Aoi. Linuen gasped for air and looked at Shizuka. He wanted to cry out for help because he thought the training was ridiculous; it would kill him at one point!

Shizuka closed her eyes, thinking quietly to herself. While she was carefully monitoring the situation and battle outside, she was blocking some of her own thoughts from surfacing, namely her fears and her anxieties. If she kept this up for much longer, she was going to go mad. She needed to let Linuen and Kei battle this out – to see whether ice or water would triumph in this situation. If she interfered, Linuen would never be able to get the training that he needed or be ever able to uphold his name for managing to be able to survive a battle with his Sensei. However, there was one thing, which if it was changed, would help a great deal and reassure her that Linuen would be alright. Well, unfortunately, Alestha seemed to be rather stubborn, much more than she would have liked. If she could get out of this infernal pyramid, she wouldn’t fight but send Getsuei to talk Alestha out. Somehow, Alestha always seemed to be rather aggravated by Getsuei and vice versa, so that would be a plan. It seemed as if her zanpakuto spirit didn’t really like the sound of that, since there was a snarl inside Shizuka’s mind. Well, it would work, right? No way am I doing something like that. If you want his spirit to appear, you do it yourself. Getsuei’s disgruntled voice echoed. Apparently she might have to force Getsuei out herself if she wanted to do that.

“I see what you mean, everybody has to think of death every once in a while, though some are faced with it sooner rather than later,” she sighed softly, before continuing, “But there is one query I have…doesn’t Kei’s thoughts become your own? I never seem to be able to get any peace since my own zanpakuto spirit can read my thoughts and answer them. If that’s the case, then…why couldn’t you have read Kei’s thoughts and understood it from there?” Looking around herself, she noticed the fact that there was a large crack in the edge of the pyramid. Oh, that must have been what she had done before…would she actually be able to crack this? It wasn’t so much that she especially wanted to interfere with Kei and Linuen, but to just simply see if she could actually get out of this structure. Using her body weight, she swung her leg around in a huge arc and kicked the pyramid. Wincing slightly from the pain, she noted that the crack had become slightly larger. Hmm…maybe she could try this? Combining her telekinesis and her own strength, she kicked at the crack, hoping that it might become big enough to make a sizeable hole which she could use.

Linuen Frost - Kei Aoi
Seventh Division, Third Seat - Memory

Falhannah smiled as she watched Kei and Linuen from the distance. "We may share the same thoughts but our opinions differ from time to time, Shizuka-Taichou. It is not because we are not really one but I am an entity that can think. I am always filled with fear at moment, especially when battling the enemies of Kei-sama. However, he had always been composed and still. He was not bitter, no. Yet, he was also not too wise too. He was... just him." She said and then turned to face Shizuka as the captain kicked the damaged pyramid. There was a loud shattering sound and the pyramid broke into thousands of pieces. This shocked Falhannah for a bit but somehow, she was expecting this. The Seventh Division captain was doubtful of Kei Aoi's resolve. It was also that moment when the five pillars that were once inside the pyramid broke into nothingness. Falhannh raised his arms and then with a loud snapping sound, an enormous barrier appeared around Kei and Linuen. The size of this barrier was far greater than Shizuka was kept in earlier and it was far durable than the tri-plate barrier; its sides were a total of ten. "Ten Protection Pillars of the Heavenly Sirens." She said softly as she looked at Shizuka. "I am sorry but this battle is something not for you to barge in. I do believe that you gave your word to Kei Aoi."

"Splash Rave!" Kei Aoi yelled out and a burst of pressurized water came from his blade. There was a short release of reiatsu which shook Linuen out of his senses. Was his Sensei this strong? He had no idea at all. He snapped back in reality when he saw the huge cascading amount of water go in direction. Enveloped by panic once again, Linuen dashed out of the way and then waved his spear, sending a cold burst of reiatsu that immediately froze the water surging towards him.

"What now, Linuen-kun? Are you just going to stop my attacks and do nothing at all?" Kei asked, who was now standing on top of the frozen debris. It was also that moment when a huge barrier formed around them and enclosed the battle in a huge containment. "Ah, The Ten Heavenly Pillars of Falhannah. She didn't like to use it since it was too much of a hassle. Looks like your captain is greatly concerned of you."

"Shizuka-Taichou?!" Linuen blurted out, looking for his captain through the barriers that formed around them.

How strange. She was sure that zanpakuto spirits could read thoughts. Then again, that could always be a side effect of her abilities being based in the mind, since she had the idea of a sixth sense and all that. Well, that was interesting. Shizuka, in the back of her mind, wondered whether others had the same thing but it wasn’t really like she was going to exactly go around asking them randomly. If there was one person that would know, it would most likely be the 12th Division Captain. Hopefully, he’d be able to provide some answers, right? Storing that way in her mind for later, she was surprised when the pyramids around her shattered and broke. However, before she could move or comprehend anything, barriers had shot up around Linuen and Kei. Damn. Yet again, she had another problem in her hands. Hmm. This was irritating. Sighing slightly, she resigned herself to staying around here, until something bad would happen to Linuen. She’d have to trust Kei, despite how hard it was. Only for now, though and at least, she had control over her abilities now even if she most likely wouldn’t be able to communicate with Linuen.

As Linuen seemed to be looking for her, she shut off her connection with the outside, since it would simply fuel her desire to help Linuen. A thoughtful look appeared on her face, as she deliberated over several things before answering Falhannah, “I guess that zanpakuto spirits are different, but I was never very sure. I used to think that it was just maybe me that was the one with a zanpakuto spirit that was completely different. I now see that might not be the case.” Closing her eyes, she opened her, a weary look on her face. This battle was tiring her and she was getting rather bored, standing around and doing nothing. “While I did give my word to Kei, I forgot about two main important facts which would ultimately influence my decision to stay out of the fight or to jump in. Firstly, I was merely intending to get out of this pyramid to awaken Linuen’s zanpakuto spirit, who, unfortunately I must say, is rather stubborn and strong-willed. Secondly, I completely forgot about the fact that I am leaving Linuen to battle a Captain all alone. This would be a hard feat for another Captain, let alone a Third Seat.”

Linuen Frost - Kei Aoi
Seventh Division, Third Seat - Memory

Falhannah smiled and then with a soft swish of air she was now gone. There was a loud snapping sound and then one side of the ten-sided barrier disappeared into thin air, with Kei Aoi walking out of it. However, Linuen Frost was now hanging in his shoulders like a piece of clothing and was obviously damaged all over.

"I always thought he was already that strong but I guess I am mistaken." Kei Aoi said, smiling at Shizuka. "He is lost in terms of strength and tactics; he needs a guide. I might as well say that I need your help too."

Then, with a strong pull of strength, Kei Aoi threw Linuen into the air towards Shizuka.

Shizuka blinked several times as Falhannah had disappeared from her view. What was going on? Opening her mind again, she re-established her link to search for any traces of Falhannah, to see whether that zanpakuto spirit had merely turned invisible or something like that. However, there was no trick as Falhannah was completely gone. To check using her sixth sense, she whispered, “Falhannah left,” only to have it confirmed. Now she was utterly confused, but her attention was diverted away from that fact as soon as she heard a loud snapping sound. Turning her head quickly, she noticed that the ten-sided barrier was missing a side and that Kei Aoi was walking out of it. Oh crap. Her eyes scanned Linuen, who seemed to be rather worse for wear, due to the damage that had been dealt all over his body. A chiding look appeared on Shizuka’s face, as if saying, ‘I told you so’. Catching Linuen as Kei threw him, she adjusted her body weight so that she would be able to support him. To think, Linuen had been paired up with a healer, who seemed to have managed to deal Linuen quite a lot of damage. Staring at Kei, she wondered how she would fare with him, but then again, she couldn’t really be sure until she fought with him, which she wasn’t really intending to do at the moment.

Looking over Linuen’s body, she sighed a little bit. If she wanted him to stay alive and heal, that would take ages, so she’d just have to manipulate some of her own world. To tell the truth, she had never done that before and she had a feeling that it might turn out a little strange. She’d have to change Linuen’s body entirely, but the mind would still be the same. Closing her eyes, the image of Linuen’s body flickered and blurred as it reformed into something else. As she opened her eyes, she stared in disbelief at Linuen, Uh-oh. “Too young,” she breathed as she looked at him. While he was clothed in the black Shinigami uniform, it was still quite obvious to people that he had regressed in age from his present age in the ‘real world’ – 2 or 3 years younger, to be exact. Well, at least, it seemed like his mind was the same as before, although he might find himself slightly confused about the fact that he was younger. Projecting a message into his mind, she called out, Wake up, Linuen, don’t fall asleep on me! She looked sheepishly at Kei, saying, “Sorry about that, Linuen just went younger by accident…it’s just that I’ve never actually tried something like this before.”

Linuen Frost - Kei Aoi
Seventh Division, Third Seat - Memory

Linuen Frost slowly opened his eyes when he heard Shizuka's voice in his head. Then, he snapped out of his daze and stood up. What happened? He asked himself. Within a matter of moment, he remembered that his Sensei attacked him so fast that he barely managed to see Kei step up to him. It was scary and Linuen was overwhelmed by this. He looked at Shizuka and then scanned the area in which he found out that his Sensei was standing before them along with his smile.

"Sensei wants me to fight alongside you, Shizuka-Taichou." Linuen said all of the sudden. Turning to check himself, the Third Seat was slightly shocked too see that his body seemed to have become younger in form. He was slightly shorter and his body was lighter than his current age; he didn't know if these were advantages or not but it did negate all the damage he received from his Sensei earlier. It must be his captain's doing.

Kei Aoi then raised a finger that was similar to a warning sign. "Ah! Do not get me wrong, Shizuka-Taichou. I did not underestimate Linuen-kun. Let's just say that this spar is for the benefit of both you and this kid there..." He said happily and then made a snap of his fingers. At that instant, Falhannah appeared beside Kei Aoi; the ten-sided barrier disappeared by this time too. "Protect us, Falhannah." He added gently and then there was a suden burst of overwhelming reiatsu from Kei. Then, the former Fourth Division captain pulled out his wakizashi from its sheath and as he pulled the blade out from it, it slowly changed in image appearing like a rectangular double-edged sword that was similar to a Chinese sword, Jian.

Kei Aoi swiftly moved his blade in a swirling motion and a cascading amount of pressurized water burst at all sides of Shizuka and Linuen. He made the first strike so sudden that all Linuen could do was let out a yell of shock as the sheets of waters curved around them and fell at their position with great intensity.

Seeing that Linuen had woken up finally, she removed her gaze from Kei, instead looking down at Linuen in concern. However, before she could ask Linuen whether he was alright or anything like that, he had spoken, saying that his Sensei wanted him to fight alongside her. Hmm…that was how it was going now? Looking at Kei and his smile once more, she inclined her head in agreement, saying, “Very well, if that will help you, I have no problems with that.” Benefit of her and this kid? Everything was confusing her at the moment, but she raised an eyebrow, merely saying nothing to that statement. Ah well, this would be interesting to battle another Captain, even if she had fought other Captains before since every one of them seemed to be completely different. Now, all she knew at the moment was the fact that Kei had power over water. That would be an irritating thing to deal with. Most likely, she’d have to utilise several abilities at once to attempt to injure him. As she went over several battle strategies in her mind, the appearance of Falhannah and the disappearance of the ten-sided barrier registered in her mind and she looked up. Uh-oh. It seemed like it was time that they were getting serious.

As the water burst from all sides around her, she didn’t seem surprised, as she was carefully controlling herself. Grabbing Linuen, she shifted with him to her other dimension, basically disappearing from the area. However, it had been done rather quickly and she found herself on top of Linuen, whom she had accidentally pushed to the ground. Oops. An embarrassed look appeared on her face as she clambered to a standing position. She smiled at him, saying, “Don’t worry, we’ll work well as a team. Anyway, you can get out of this dimension at any time, just phase whenever you feel like it.” Phasing out of her dimension again, she reappeared in her original position, cancelling all her other abilities, including her abilities to read thoughts. Using her mind and her telekinesis, the nearby bench, which Kei had been sitting on just before, flew up, headed directly for Kei’s head. This would most likely not be enough to injure him, but it was merely a test at the moment, to see what sorts of abilities he would use.

Linuen Frost - Kei Aoi
Seventh Division, Third Seat - Memory

"Taichou, wait!" Linuen Frost called out to Shizuka as she leaped out of the pocket dimension that she created. Panicking on what to do, the Third Seat followed his captain only to arrive that Shizuka sent a bench flying towards Kei Aoi.

There was yet another loud snapping sound and a small triangle barrier appeared in between of Kei and then bench, causing the bane to crash at the firm shield. Splinters of wood flung in the air as Kei Aoi stared to Shizuka in silence. But it was also an instant when Kei noticed Linuen from the other side of the field and waved his spear. "Burst Pike!" he yelled out loud. Suddenly, there was huge ice spike that burst from the ground that head towards Kei Aoi's direction. Due to the intensity of the skill, the size of the spiked obelisk was about ten times of Kei's size. However, the former Fourth Division captain did not show any forms of distress.

Kei Aoi swiftly raised his sword and made a fast slashing movement. It was also a split-second when the huge ice obelisk broke into thousands of pieces with a loud shattering sound. Linuen gasped in shock as he saw the ice crumbled before his eyes.

"Well then, are you done measuring what I can do, Shizuka-Taichou?" Kei Aoi gently asked as he turned to Shizuka.

Shizuka clapped slowly and loudly, a smile on her face. Sincerely, that was good. However, it seemed despite what Kei said, he seemed to be a little wary of damaging Linuen too much. Then again, that was rather expected, due to the fact that Shizuka could withstand more attacks and anyway, she had the ability to use telekinesis to protect herself. Well, at least, she didn’t have to go easy on him now, due to the fact that she had witnessed the fact that he was rather powerful. Linuen’s abilities, while his attack had been pretty good, unfortunately seemed to not be able to be used against Kei too well, due to the fact that he could control the water inside of the ice. This would be troublesome, since Linuen’s abilities could be turned against himself or her. “Yes, I’m finished measuring – it’s simply necessary for the first round, right?” she flashed a smile. Now she had several choices on what to actually do. For the meantime, she’d work on the offensive and only defend herself if necessary. Hopefully, whatever she thought of would be enough for the moment. Closing her eyes, she summoned her strength before establishing a mental link with Linuen, so that she would be able to hear his thoughts and he would be able to hear whatever she sent him. She telepathically sent a message, saying, Linuen, I’m going to try and weaken Kei Aoi a little bit and attack whenever there is a opportunity. Moving quickly, she did not attack, merely staying still. As she lifted her head once more, she fixed her gaze directly on Kei’s. Her voice was dripping with compulsion and hypnosis, from her fourth ability, and he would most likely feel the effects of it soon, “Oh, my, Kei, you must be feeling so tired after battling for so long. Your muscles must be aching, your arms and legs feeling as if they would not want to move.” She permitted herself a small smirk, as Kei, even if he didn’t take the entire statement, would at least start to feel slightly tired. Turning to Linuen, she shouted in his mind one command - Attack now, Linuen!

Linuen Frost - Kei Aoi
Seventh Division, Third Seat - Memory

Kei Aoi's face was filled with seriousness when Shizuka activated her hypnosis. He did not anticipate such skill from her and was immediately captivated by the effects of it. Kei wanted to make a step but his legs would not move; he felt so tired and weakened. He faced Shizuka and then smiled. "Ah, now I understand. The powers of your Zanapakutou is related to the mind. Ability to recreate the past, move objects using the power telepathy, communication to other people through mind messages, and of course, hypnosis." Kei Aoi gently said as he tried to move his arms. It was no use as he was bound by Shizuka's ability. "However, do not expect that I am the only one moving here. Isn't that right, Linuen-kun?" He added with a smile just as Linuen was standing behind him and was about to wave his spear.

However, though the young man was shocked to discover that his Sensei knew about him, he did not hesitate. With a strong pull of reiatsu from his body, he pointed his spear at the ground, which immediately froze everything around Kei Aoi. In a matter of seconds, Kei's legs began to freeze and was trapped in huge chucks of ice. Then, Linuen thrust his spear forward and shot a swift force that was enough to put a hole in a normal human being. This was it!

"Nu ah!" Kei Aoi said suddenly.

There was a loud thud that rang in Linuen's senses and he realized that his attack disappeared in thin air, as if deflected. He looked around and found nothing different except that Kei Aoi was standing there trapped by his ice. "I told you that I am not the only one moving here." His Sensei added with another smile. And it was only that moment that a huge cube appeared directly around Kei Aoi. On top of the cube, Falhannah stood in silence, looking at Shizuka.

Shizuka nodded, slightly disappointed by the fact that her attack had unfortunately, while it had stopped Kei, not affected Falhannah, since she had not directed it upon her. “Yes,” she said simply, “That is my zanpakuto power, using mental will and power. It is entirely different from that of other Captains and while I am limited in physical power, I make up for this by breaking a person’s mind. However, my most powerful ability, which I usually use for that, is unfortunately unable to be access as we are currently standing in it, and to create another world with Mangetsu would drain me of all power, effectively destroying this world we are standing in.” She flashed a brief smile at Kei, before reassuring Linuen in his mind, Don’t worry about it, that was a very good attack still. However, Linuen, you cannot do this alone. Draw out your zanpakuto spirit somehow, because her advice will be definitely helpful. She paused briefly, allowing this particular message to echo deep inside Linuen, so that Alestha would be able to hear it too, That being said, Linuen’s zanpakuto spirit, you’d better get a move on and start helping Linuen if you want him, and also yourself, to survive. While there might not be any physical problems if Linuen is killed by Kei, I cannot say what state of mind he would be in if he returned.

Finishing with her message to Linuen and sincerely hoping that Alestha would finally take it upon herself to appear, her eyes narrowed again on Falhannah. She needed to create a distraction, to create something that would deal with Falhannah while Shizuka herself would attack Kei. Actually, if she managed to distract Falhannah, Linuen should be able to attack Kei himself and battle equally since Kei’s power would not be entirely complete. Sending another message to Linuen, she relayed, I’m going to try and take out Falhannah as best as I can, and distract her for a bit. You need to go after your Sensei and if all goes well, I should be able to switch between fighting Falhannah and Kei. Her grip loosened on her scythe as she closed her eyes. Around her, the water on the pond began to ripple and the ground began to quake, as her Reiatsu spiked suddenly before dropping down to its usual low levels. As she reopened her eyes, there seemed to be no difference to Shizuka. However, another person had appeared, right behind Falhannah. Getsuei, armed with a sword, was attempting to plunge it into Falhannah, while Shizuka, working together with her zanpakuto spirit, used her telekinesis to shift the cube sideways, upwards and downwards, hoping to upset Falhannah’s balance. Getsuei, knowing what Shizuka was doing, merely adjusted to the different positions.

Linuen Frost - Kei Aoi
Seventh Division, Third Seat - Memory

"I see... You manipulate enemies in terms of the mind, which, many Shinigami or enemies don't have. A very well formed Zanpakutou for the world especially these days." Kei Aoi said, looking at Shizuka after she explained the nature of her Zanpakutou, Getsuei. Suddenly, Kei felt Shizuka's reiatsu peak for a moment and then went back to normal. He was shocked to see that another figure appeared behind Falhannah. It must be Shizuka's Zanpakutou, Kei thought to himself. However, before he could act, a cold presence held his right arm.

Kei Aoi turned and saw a girl holding his wrist tightly whilst glaring at him. "Now..." The girl said softly. There was a burst of reiatsu and Kei's entire right arm was encased in a huge chuck of ice, thus trapping his entire arm. He gasped in shock as he looked at the girl. But unknown to his Sensei, Linuen was now behind Kei Aoi pointing his spear. With a short gasp of air, Linuen thrust his spear forward and released a violent burst of cold reiatsu.

"BURST PIKE!" He yelled out loud.

The cube immediately shattered into thousands of pieces as Falhannah looked at the direction of Kei Aoi. However, she too was taken aback by the sudden appearance of Getsuei and was unable to do anything but jump out of her range as she tried to attack Falhannah. But despite evading majority of Getsuei's attack, Falhannah acquired a slight slash in her shoulder and landed at the ground with an unbalanced step thus causing her to kneel at the ground. Falhannah looked at Kei's direction only to find the entire area around it encased in a gigantic obelisk of ice caused by Linuen's skill.

Linuen stood there, unmoved as he gazed upon the huge ice obelisk. "Is it over?" he exclaimed, whilst catching his breath.

Shizuka couldn’t help but grin as she noticed the fact that finally Alestha had managed to come out. It was very good, seeing that now they had four people against two and they could easily split up into pairs. As her attention diverted, she soon returned back to what she had been concentrating on before as Getsuei let out a frustrated scream at not being able to injure Falhannah. Oh. Reading Getsuei’s thoughts quickly, she noticed the fact that there was only a slight slash on Falhannah’s shoulder, barely enough to decapitate a fighter. Well, at least, they had managed to distract Falhannah for a bit. She sent a quick telepathic message to Getsuei, Keep her busy. We need to be able to distract Falhannah for a long time. Getsuei nodded, her sword morphing into a similar-looking scythe to Shizuka’s. Moving quickly, she placed the edge of the scythe at Falhannah’s neck. “I’d advise you to keep your eyes on me, darlin’, I’m not done yet.” Getsuei drawled in an unidentifiable accent.

She would standby for the moment, since Getsuei seemed to be taking everything into her stride. However, she’d need to only keep one link with Linuen so that she could be able to use her other powers better. Linking might be pretty good, but that would be only if she really needed it. As Linuen exclaimed, she lifted her head and looked in his direction. She couldn’t tell at the moment whether Kei had been taken out or not, as if she established a link with him, she’d lose her telekinesis and other powers that she would have. “I can’t tell at the moment,” she called out to Linuen, preferring to use her voice, “But be vigilant and be ready for an attack at any moment. If there’s trouble, yell at me for help, alright?” While she was entirely ecstatic that Linuen had somehow trapped Kei, there was this feeling that it might not last for very long, due to the fact that she had underestimated Kei’s abilities before and she was definitely not doing it again.

Linuen Frost - Kei Aoi
Seventh Division, Third Seat - Memory

There was slight and faint slashing motion that moved along with the air. Suddenly, blood burst from Linuen Frost's shoulders and he looked around in astonishment of the bane that struck him. Because of the force of the attack, he was thrown off his feet and dropped at the ground with a dull thud several feet from his original location. He gasped for air and he looked around for the attacker.

"It was never over, brat." Alestha gently said as she looked at the giant obelisk that stood in the middle of the battlefield. Her eyes narrowed as she looked at Falhannah, who was now standing and disappeared with a short swish of air. The next moment, Kei Aoi's Zanpakutou was now standing before the obelisk with her arms raised.

There was a loud snapping sound a gigantic cube formed around the obelisk, much like the one Falhannah created earlier. "Reverse." She gently said and there was a short flicker of light inside the cube. It was only an instant when the gigantic obelisk broke into thousands of pieces with a series of loud shattering sounds. Kei Aoi walked out from it with the same smile on his face, though the rest of his haori was now tattered because of Linuen's attack.

"My attack was bit a late, sorry about that, Linuen-kun." Kei Aoi said. "I slashed the air about twice before he struck me with his skill to test how fast his ice-powers are. I am impressed that your Zanpakutou survived with the bane a struck her before you release that giant obelisk, Linuen-kun." He added.

Linuen immediately looked at Alestha's direction and was shocked to see her right waistline was bleeding profusely. She, however, tried her best not to look disturbed by her huge wound. Her breathing was hoarse but at the same light. "He struck me once and slashed the air for about two times before your attack encased him; his speed is impossible."

And Linuen stared in horror at Kei Aoi.
