Will just grumbled at that, and dusted his rear end off as soon as they reached the top of the stairs.
Now that he had the keys, Will clicked the remote which caused the black SUV to beep as it unlocked. Opening the driver's side door, the grunt climbed in and put the key in the ignition and turned on the engine.
What greeted him was hip-hop music blaring from the speakers at full volume.
Come here rude boy, boy, can you get it up?
Come here rude boy, boy, is you big enough?
Take it, take it, baby, baby
Take it, take it, love me, love me
"Holy mother of Lugia!" Will shouted in surprise as he nearly fell out of the driver's seat, having not yet shut the door.
The pounding bass from the music shaking the entire vehicle.

Seemingly immune to the loud music, Kofuku watched with her head tilted to the side as Will shouted and nearly fell back out of the car. Leaning over, she turned the music down to a more tolerable level.
"My bad; forgot I had it up so loud. But man, this sound system is SWEET!" She gave him a childish grin.

"Ugh..."
Will climbed back into seat as Kofuku turned the music down. He sat there for a few moments, trying to recover, before turning his head to look at Kofuku.
"What did you say?"
His ears were ringing painfully. He may have even gone deaf. There was no telling!

"That we should go to a nudist beach." She responded back with a completely straight face. She thought that Will was joking, pretending he hadn't heard her and all, so of course she was going to answer with a joke back.
Reaching over, she buckled herself into the seat; at least she knew how to use the seat belts!

Will shook his head as he shut the door and put on his seat belt. Surely he hadn't heard that right.
"Rudest reach, what?" That didn't make any sense at all.
Despite that, Will put the SUV in reverse and looked behind him as he backed out of where she had parked. Then putting the vehicle back into drive, they pulled out of the subway parking lot and were soon on their way.

Kofuku chuckled a little, shaking her head; Will had a good sense of humor. Once they started moving, Kofuku sunk a little into her seat and rolled down her window to let her arm hang out of it. Putting her shades on to block the bright sun from her eyes, she grinned a little.
"So do you have the whole day off then? Or do you have to be back by a certain hour?"

The ringing in his ears was starting to clear, so he managed to understand certain parts of what she was saying.
"That's good that you got the whole day. I don't have a black Houndour though. Why do you ask?"
Maybe Will wasn't as funny as she initially thought.

Giving Will a funny look, she then burst out laughing. "Silly Willy! I didn't even ask about Houndour! I wanna know if you've got the day off!" She laughed a bit more, having spoken a little louder because of her window being down.

That time he seemed to get it.
"Oh. Yeah, I have the day off. Amazingly. I had to pull some longer hours to get it." He shrugged, not really thinking much of it, especially since his shifts were pretty uneventful.
Turning down a street, views of the public beaches were then within sight. It was a beautiful day out, and many people seemed to be enjoying the coast.

Face lighting up a little as she saw the sandy beaches ahead, Kofuku leaned her whole upper body out the window, grinning as her hair was whipped around by the wind.
"This is MUCH better! Way more cheery than that subway!" She called back into the car, her torso still out the window. The sun felt nice against her skin, and the air wrapped around her with salty heat.

Will glanced over at Kofuku as she leaned out the window. He could just imagine a car coming by and taking her head with it. However, he said nothing and instead looked for a place to park. He did agree with her though... the beach was much more inviting than the dank old subway tunnel.
After a long search, Will had to settle for a parking spot that was about a mile away from the beach access.
Climbing out, he locked the car and then started the walk along the sidewalks. And in case you're wondering, no he wasn't in his Rocket uniform. He was dressed in simple shorts and a t-shirt and wore sandals on his feet. Will didn't really care much about fashion and instead stuck to comfort. Of course there was his visor as well and a baseball cap on his head.

If there was one animal that Kofuku could have been described as, it would probably have been a puppy. There was pure joy on her face as she stuck herself halfway out the car window, and if she had a tail, it probably would have been wagging. As the got closer, she seemed to radiate excitement, her legs twitching and fingers thrumming against the car, and one could almost here the 'ohboyohboyohboy' that was going through her mind.
The second the car was parked, she threw off the seat belt and swung the door wide open. "WHOO HOO!" Grinning as she balanced on one leg, she pulled off one boot and it's sock, followed by the other, and tossed it carelessly into the back seats. Even though the ground was rather hot and a bit rocky, she didn't seem to be bothered at all by it as she ran to the sidewalk, bouncing and full of energy.

She did look kinda like a dog. All she needed was to have her tongue hanging out and it would complete the image. That would bring a new meaning to the word, b***h.
Will just looked on in amusement as Kofuku practically bounced off the walls. He personally didn't trust this place with his bare feet, but to each their own. They had a bit of a walk to get to the beach yet.
"I take it you really like going to the beach," he observed with a smirk.

Having lived in poor shoes, when she was lucky enough to get shoes, her feet were used to the abuse that concrete and asphalt gave so she paid really no notice to it. Running ahead, she spun around to face Will with a bright grin and her head thrown back a little in laughter. "I do, but only when I have good company with me. It's not fun to come alone here."
Settling into pace next to him, she made idle chatter, talking about things that were going on in the HQ and commenting on things as they walked by them. The crowd was starting to thicken, and Kofuku felt her heart freeze as she saw someone she thought she recognized. Without even thinking, she grabbed Will and pulled him to the side a bit by his collar, bringing him down enough for her to smooch him in something that looked like it would be better seen in some sort of cheesy chick-flick.

"I can relate to that," Will replied with a nod.
As they started passing through the crowd that meant they were getting close. The sounds of the ocean were just barely heard over the dull roar of people chattering and cars going by. He was just minding his business, paying more attention to their surroundings then the girl that was with him.
Thus, when Kofuku grabbed him by the collar, a surprised "Hrk!" sound came from him as he was pulled to the side. It was probably a good thing he had that visor, because it hid his eyes that were now wide in shock as Kofuku planted her lips against his.
