"Oh?" she replied with a quirk of the brow. Smiling mischievously, she said, "Well then, what might you say if I were to suggest some 'mud wrestling'? Although naturally our clothes would have to be set aside for such an activity." Gabriel knew she had him. Even with the implied prospect of such a venture, there was absolutely no way that the other teen would be willing to dirty himself in the mud. It went completely against all of his nature that she had observed thus far.

... Shards. This was unexpected, Gabriel thought to herself in mild dismay at his enthusiasm. Don't tell me this dimglow is really only that concerned about his shardin clothes!!! "Well, first we would have to find an appropriate mud-puddle first," she replied, recovering her cool. She was not about to let him win this game! "If that proves unsuccessful then we may simply have to settle for a dip in the lake." That would probably be more fun anyway. At least then she could dunk him should he try anything.

"It is unbearably hot out, isn't it," she remarked with a faint smirk. "Alright then, but before we start the search let's stop by the kitchens for some food. Be it swimming or wrestling, we'll probably be hungry after." A small snack for right now wouldn't hurt either, Gabriel mused, feeling rather like having a piece of bread. It had been a while since breakfast after all.

Gabriel smiled. "A picnic sounds fun. Haven't had one of those in ages." She followed Farellen along to the kitchens, and, after they had gotten a decent amount of food, the two set off in search of any mud. "I suppose it might be helpful if it had just rained," the teen said with a small frown, not having much luck in the search. "We may just have to go swimming after all."

"To the lake then!" Gabriel exclaimed cheerfully, racing on ahead of him. It helped that she wasn't the one carrying all of their things.

Once at the water's edge, the teen paused to remove her tunic and pants, leaving on only her undergarments for the swim. Setting the clothes aside first, she stepped into the water experimentally and found it to be pleasantly warm. "Look like the water's just right for swimming," she remarked, looking back over at her companion with a grin. "Hurry up, Farellen. I'm gettin old here."

"It's about time," she said with a laugh, diving into the deeper water after him. The lake water was very refreshing considering how hot it was outside. Gabriel resurfaced after a moment and ran a hand through her short wet hair. "I think I like this better than the mud idea," she said with a smile. Then, without warning, she sent a large splash Farellen's way, trying to catch him off-guard.

Oh Shards, she thought to herself when he dove down under the water, expecting retaliation. Sure enough she soon felt herself being tugged down and only barely had enough time to take a big breath before going under. Gabriel did a small flip/twist under the water so that she was facing Farellen. With a grin, she proceeded to poke him in the sides a few times (in a lame attempt at tickling) before swimming back up for more air.

"Eep! Hey!" Gabriel exclaimed with a laugh, sending another splash his way. "Don't tell me you're part dolphin now. I don't think non-humans are allowed to Impress." She was only messing with him of course, and she began to swim around him in a circle as she spoke.
