That_comic_guy Luciferian_Depression The Willow Of Darkness Luciferian_Depression Classic_Comic Ladi SydneyB Hated the movie, thought it was a waste of time to sit and watch. Nice robot fighting scene though I will give it that much. They did what Transformers failed to do and it had a combine total of 4 hours and some odd mins to have an epic robot scene. Yet this pro douche movie had like what a ten minutes Robot scene and did it better than those trainwreck rape your childhood movies? Maybe they should have replaced the crab/shrimp people for robots. Maybe then I would have enjoyed it. It's not pro-douche, it's the biggest Godwin outside any WW2 movie. I think comic is refering to how Wikus survived; I think he thinks it should have been pro-revenge against douches. Well, the douche kinda lost everything... Still gets to leave junk on his wife's doorstep. neutral Seriously, way to be total unrealistic. Dude barely escapes the mafia, goes into near god-mode against what I guess would be like S.H.I.E.L.D. plus losers who couldn't make it into MIB. rolleyes I think the movie would had more meaning if the D-bag human had died fighting for the other side. I suspect that they would have wanted to purposely avoid that as there may be chance that would be taken to promote the view that taking revenge for the racist crimes that were committed was desirable(which is a view that they do not hold).

Still makes them seem unrealistic. No group of people or otherwise is as monolithic as that. If they do make D-9 part II I expect to see some curb stomping of the alien variety.

Just to clarify, I was talking of the filmmakers, not the aliens.
Expert on the motivation, desires ,and culture of aliens now are you?
Not to mention that there were a grand total of two aliens in contact(unless I'm forgetting something) with Wikus that did not take revenge against him. They may not be representative how the alien race may act as a whole in general(much like there are some humans who do not which to take revenge, despite what it would seem that humanity in general has in mind).

Ah, the film makers well.. maybe we can reason with that but still. Remember D-bag went around giving out the evictions, got like two aliens shot by the bloodhounds, and other s**t. I don't see why not they can't use him as a poster boy for hell hath fury like aliens ******** with. I don't know why they allowed him to live. I just don't.

Hydra-Star That isn't the stupidest reason for a break up I've ever heart, but still. =( I'm sorry Comic. You should try to make up with her. There's no way that should be the reason for you two breaking up. Were you guys having other problems? Kind of. She's having doubts about her career choices, school issues for the both of us, this economy isn't really epic for romantic couples like us, and other BS. (My sister not withstanding but...) We are talking though.

The Willow Of Darkness I thought District-9 was excellent(do I always disagree with you? xd ) .
If I were Chris, at least hypothetically, I would feel compelled to return to change Wikus back to human. However, I rather think your milage my vary on that one; I could certainly see how some may feel that they shouldn't bother coming back for him, so I guess I don't so much consider that it should be a moral prerogative for anyone, but something that should be done if you were to feel emotional distress at leaving Wikus in a transformed state. Hey! I have it on DVD! It's a good movie and it tells how humanity would screw over any visitors. They'd make them more impoverished than any 3rd world country. Yeah, well Chris made his own plans but he probably forgot due to him saving his race. So I think he didn't do it intentionally. Eventually I bet that the ship will come back for him but since it'd be hard to tell who he is due to them being all the same then I think it'd be easier to leave him be.

It was a good run while it lasted. I guess I shall be one of those guys who can only be in a short term relationship. Good thing I'm not too big on marriage otherwise I be in trouble with the way my relationships go.

You just have to keep looking. There's going to be a lot of people who break your heart before you find the right one. Don't give up.
