Actually, the next tactic was to go for the eyes with his considerably long nails. The punch to the already damaged jaw hurt like hell, and Tybalt would definitely be visiting the infirmary later, but by god if he wasn't going to make Joel pay for it.

Ty was relentless, Joel had to give the cat man that. He was also going to give him a lot more! As he approached to attack again, Joel let his battleaxe drop down to his side, reached behind his back and withdrew his big knife.

In a single fluid motion going along with the draw, he brought the weapon up vertically, aiming to slice Ty right up the left side of his face! To keep the man off balance, he used his other free hand to grab the cat man's wrist when he attacked, preventing the strike to his eye AND keeping him held firmly in place.

Once he made the first incision, he wouldn't stop, he'd turn that knife blade down and sink it deeply into the naked man's clavicle. He'd push the blade down once he got it sunk in and force the cat man to his knees. He'd either yeild from there or be subjected to even more pain. And this time, if he tried for a d**k punch, he'd find himself in more pain that anyone could imagine.

Joel had never been known to be a patient man, he was getting sick of this joke.

Tybalt leaned back away from the knife's blade, which most likely wouldn't help very much or for very long, before yanking his arm that was being held back towards himself once the knife had passed by his face. Hopefully this would pull his opponent off balance, but either way, he'd swing his left arm around to punch Joel in the face.

Joel lurched forward a bit when he lost grip of the guy's wrist, but he was otherwise unphased and kept his feet flat on the ground. At this point he figured Ty would be trying something that wasn't so right up 'in your face' and a little more tactical.

It didn't seem so.

In retaliation to the fist coming for his face, Joel kept right on track with his plan of driving the knife into Ty's clavicle, which was more than likely to happen given his commitment to the punch. No doubt his fist would land on Joel's face, but now he'd have a really huge knife sunk deeply into a very sensitive part of his body.

Ouch.

Having been stabbed here before, Joel knew just how much it was going to hurt. He'd be kind of surprised if the guy didn't outright submit to the pain and curl up in a little ball of failure.

Considering the fact that Tybalt had a free-floating clavicle, like the cat he was, pain was an understatement. The knife, of course, slid off of the bone to bury itself in his shoulder muscles, dislocating it in the process. This left Tybalt seeing red, and incapable of thought beyond his flight or fight instinct. Since he obviously couldn't run, being pinned down as he was, his next option was to lunge forward and attempt to bite his way out of the situation. Aiding him in this were he cat-like teeth. Of course, a fractured jaw was quite a detriment, but Tybalt wasn't exactly thinking clearly. Or at all.

Time to put this pitiful creature down!

As the guy buried his face into Joel's shirt and stomach trying to bite chunks out of him, the rough warrior grabbed a hand full of his hair with his left to secure his head and began pounding his face in with his right fist.

Joel had spent years fighting and killing with his hands, his fists were like solid pieces of stone. If each hit connected, and continued to connect, the man's fists would begin to collect a thick coat of crimson blood. This reign of pain would continue till TY's face was little more than hamburger, or until he passed out from the extreme pain and the growing loss his senses.

Right then. This entire fiasco seemed to be a lesson to the organizers as to why you don't give a guy like Tybalt to a guy like Joel to fight. At least the mess was over, with Tybalt unconscious and quickly reverting to his cat form.

The knife clunked to the ground when Ty reverted back to his cat-form. Joel now stood there with a fist soaked in blood up to his wrist and holding the cat in his hand by it's bloody head. A huge snarl formed on Joel's face as he turned around to face one of the camera's.

"YOU THINK THIS IS A ******** JOKE?! SEND ME A REAL OPPONENT NEXT TIME!!"

With those parting words, Joel tossed the cat to the side, picked up his battleaxe and stormed off the battleground to mixed cheering and booing from the crowd. Not like he actually gave a damn.
