It was true, Jurie couldn't navigate her own fog if her life depended on it. She was as blind as Seth was while he guessed at her position, using only the sounds of her footsteps as guidance to what he could assume was her positioning. She thought of this too and did the same thing anytime she pulled this trick outta the bag. However there was one thing about the fog that could not be denied, a simple fact that wouldn't change despite the fact it wasn't a natural fog.
Light still traveled through it.
Light such as the fire burning around Seth's weapon.
Jurie could see Seth readying to lunge forward, readying himself to go swinging wildly through the fog towards her position. She had a good lead though, and was already a good few feet back after her last attack. Still, she hadn't quite recovered from that last blow and the sting hadn't died down enough for her to hold enough confidence to come reeling back into the fight full-force. So instead she'd continue her retreat with a bit of a boost to back herself up.Winds of Battle This ability amplifies physical abilities via spirit energy by twice their normal potential. She gathered her focus as the precious spiritual energies shot throughout her muscles as they coursed with new-found power. Her body jerked back in a sudden rush, shooting back and away from the flaming arch as it wizzed passed her mid-section, dipping just above her sword as it came bounding back up from her previous strike. A miss, a CLOSE miss, but one none the less. She would continue backwards as the cloud began to dissipate, her gaze shifting around for just a soft moment as she made herself aware of her footing on the arena floor. She hefted her weapon up, balancing it out against her body once more as her breath whisked out across the air, a tension unfurling from her lips as her mind raced over what just happened.
'He's fast... and my cut didn't even make him stumble a bit.' Her eyes focused harder on the man as the fog cleared away, almost as though trying to distinguish if he was even a man at all for shrugging her blow off so easily. 'I won't break down so easily... All the same I can't just strong arm my way through that defense of his, not like this.'
She tightened her grip and gave herself a nod, panning over the possibilities in her head as she readied herself for the next attack.

It was now evident that the woman wasn’t willing to accept that Seth was faster than her. Maybe he would just need to show her his evident speed. Clashing with his face was the pungent smell, what was it ? In fact it was her fog, it stunk badly indeed. His face contorted as the smell touched his nose. Looking over at the women he watched her, she didn’t look to damaged, at least someone in this fight was getting in some hits. Seth grinned, his fingers flickering back and forth as his hand twisted up toward to sky in a sadistic manner.
“….Don’t …you see it ? The blood red clouds “ He mumbled, though it was low, the sound traveled over for her to hear. Thoughts lingered in his head for a second, his ears not even listening for an answer. The pain was now becoming a prevalent “thing” on his mind. Something he avoided for much to long now. How was he supposed to beat her, he came at from every way.
…A new way
His twisted fingers reached out and grabbed the hilt of his long sword. The beastly sword was long in nature, and far heavier. It was Seth’s proud and glory his tool of destruction. He twirled it around, letting it slam to the ground. Purple field of unknown energy clashed with the air send sparks pass his face. “…I see it “ He whispered as his body moved to its own beat. His legs reacted to his new pain, trembling abit they still planted themselves smoothly to the ground.
Thud …Right
Thud …Left
Thud …gogOGO!!
Screaming ringing noise blazed in his head. His bouncing back and forth turned into a hypnotic dash at his opponent. In fact Seth was fast enough to close the gap in front with no problem, but he came at her at a much slower pace than before. His right hand crossed over his left holding the hilt of said blade. His grip was very lazy, but not loose and sloppy. The blade dragged across the floor carving a line towards his opponent. Trickles of blood washed down his mouth. Seth smiled with a deep grin on his face. It wasn’t because his ribs were hurting him, or the fact he almost killed himself with his own attack. But he wanted more options once he got close; he wanted to make her regret ever testing him.
