What she wanted to do was grand, in fact it would work if Tous was actually impaired by her previous attack. Sure, in truth his normal vision was impaired, but with his secondary sight enabled, he saw the energy distortion around her body. This was seen within the smoke, within the flash, within the embers of the firework. Granted it wasn't a 'perfect' sight it was enough to see her.
So, as she ran closer, he'd allow it. At the instant she launched into the air there was action from Tous. The specialized sheath of his allowed for a quicker draw in close quarters, and in these moments it was a draw that was mastered. This spelled disaster for her, sadly.
His black katana was withdrawn from the sheath, turned so the edge faced up slightly and slashed upwards at an angle in the same movement. The point of this was when she was just getting airborne, about two feet off the ground. The destination of his attack was nothing vital, it was actually for her right leg which was closer to the draw.
This could dismantle her leg from the thigh down, possibly causing severe bleeding.

Cheeky little b*****d, wasn't he? Trying to cut her off as she stunned the crowd with her amazing acrobatics? Stella couldn't have that now, could she?
As the Fae began her ascent and witnessed the quick drawing of his sword, as well as the unveiling of his convincing play-acting of being blinded by her firework. "How very clever," she thought.
Stella was not stunned that his sunglasses had protected him from the light. However, she was genuinely surprised that the loud sound had created no auditory discomfort for him, and would later gather that he had not sustained any burns from being so close in proximity to the blast. Perhaps next time.
Anyway-- back to the action.
When Stella previously ran (as mentioned in post two, for reference), she had kept her long Tessen Fan on her right side, and was in an easily adjustable position for the Fae to defend herself-- especially from the right. Thus, Stella did nothing less than that.
Watching his sword be unsheathed, Stella maneuvered her fan in front of her leg (in the blade's path) and pushed against it, wishing to keep her limbs intact. That's all a girl could ever ask for, right?
WRONG.
Stella was the Fae of Summertime, embracing the season and everything about it-- fireworks extravaganzas, blazing heat and cooling winds, surfing, and especially the prized summer bikini. And Tous thought he could come in here and jeopardize Stella's prized bikini bodice?
AW, HELL NO. }:<
So what was in Stella's jurisdiction of things she could ask for? To have Tous be dragged off by his medics by the time this was over, for one. In a body bag, even, if she was lucky. But being modest, after all, she digressed.
--end fluff--
Seeing as he'd cut off her ascent before she could be able to get over his head, Stella opted for less of an acrobatic approach. If his sword liked the Fae's lovely legs so much, she bet his face would adore them. If his nose didn't bleed because of the opportunistic and lewd view, it would be gushing from her assault. She kept the sword at bay with her fan, for the moment.
Directly in front of him, she allowed the wind to subside, letting gravity and momentum carry her forward at Tous, raising her knee to collide with the center of his face.
Let's just say the least of his worries would be needing a new pair of shades.
[Post 3]
Synopsis:
Stella defended against his slash by placing her fan in the way, protecting her leg and keeping the sword at bay. Letting the wind subside and ending her Fae Step, she thrust her knee directly into the center Tous' face.
Equipment Remaining: Strings of Pearls- 3 Fireworks- 6
Elapsed flight time: Approximately 3-4 seconds overall. Flight concluded.

It seemed the fae forgot something. The reason he was unharmed prior. Shi, that magnificent black blade was five feet and five inches long, with a one foot long tsuka and a four feet and five inch blade. The firework only a four foot radius of explosion/fire. Not to forget it was sliced in half decreasing its radial damage. Semantics though. And at that point at most without previous indication of the strength of the 'boom' it would be less than a gunshot...
Knee to face may be a problem. Simply stand there and have to buy new shades? Forget that. Good thing Tous had two arms. As the knee came forward for his face, his left hand would ball into a fist and smash forward directly into her knee with enough force to cause the need for knee surgery. Remember his gloves, the ones with metal plating made from Ferrium C69. F. C69 is one of the strongest metals as well as one of the hardest, and it was hard to shatter. What was it? Scientifically engineered Damascus Steel on steroids. Considering her fan wouldn't block it because it was busy holding his weapon in place. That was merely his defense. She used no magic power to speed up said knee to face either.
As his fist collided with said knee, his right hand dropped the katana. This hand now moved, heading to lock into the side of her right knee (thumb at the back of the knee, fingers wrapped around knee). Upon grip, he'd expose his strength. His aim now was to dismantle her completely. His body twisted as he pulled her down while his left hand was now free. She had been more or less facing up at the beginning of the turn, but with the grip and twist she would end up facing upside down. The direction she would face at this point was backwards, and face down. The momentum of the turn would bring her along for a ride, as if she was now his sword in midslash. But the intention was to bring her to the ground, hard. The left hand found its way to the other katana on his left side. This katana had a blade of three feet.
CLANG - Shi, the black katana, touches ground
As all this happened, after the defensive strike that flowed into his attack that was still going within this small time frame, the left hand had moved from a smash to the knee to the katana, which was held in a devious scabbard that was attached to his side via a wonderful mechanism. The close range was not a problem for Tous. The blade was pulled outwards, his thumb closer to the top of the hilt of the sword. Though the scabbard had turned on its side. As the blade moved through the tunnel, it was met with a specific design. As it neared the middle of the scabbard, the scabbard would seem to bend the opposite direction. And when it neared the mouth of the scabbard, four inches before to be exact, it would be set free via the V shaped cut out that reached to the mouth. The unsheathing led into an attack that led over her back a small amount till the blade was tilted enough to slice across her back. Not through it, across it, to peel away the clothing and flesh.
If she couldn't avoid this, she was in for a world of hurt. Being slammed onto the hard ring with an immense amount of force aided by momentum and gravity, which would likely cause bone fractures or breaks if she was lucky. And lets not forget the 'scalping' of her back. None of this was lethal, he made an oath to not kill his opponents in this tournament.

[.:] OoC: Just for clarification and the record. Yes, the sunglasses did help defend against the light, but it was not just the sunglasses. The eyes switched to a 'reverse heat vision' which picks up energy displacement around the opponent and of the opponent themselves. Giving a decent picture of where things are and such.
As for the radius... the blade of my sword is longer than four feet. Blast is only four feet. I cut the firework in half, lessening its power at best. As for the bang... as stated it at that point wouldn't/shouldn't be any louder than a gunshot. Out of the radius is why there were no burns too... kinda goes hand in hand...
Fae, if you need something explained just PM me. [:.]

((I couldn't find any description or dimensions of your equipment to go off of, but I pointed it out in case you missed the other effects of the firework, since you hadn't really mentioned them. Regardless, Stella would have noticed those things, since that's what she's supposed to look for.
However, if you've heard before... a gunshot is pretty loud. Range riflemen use earmuffs/earplugs to block that sound, too, because it's damaging to the ears. If you think that Tous has enough in him to bypass that sort of pain, then I'm in no position to tell you that he can't.
Although, your ability to be able to slice a 2-inch diameter projectile firework in midair is beyond me. I suppose it's not my place to say, however.
I'll do my best to make a post for you tonight, but I'm still on the shared computer, and I have plans for later this afternoon. I'll write when I can.))

[.:] You never stated the power of the bang, and yes a gunshot is loud and yes I've shot guns before. I could be a dink and say its the sound of a .22 which is barely anything to get hurt by in terms of sound. I didn't ignore it, you just didn't explain and I can only go off what you post.
I'm sorry its beyond you, but its possible. You didn't say if you threw it like a fastball, or a curveball or simply lobbed it. A lobbing throw is more or less what I went with, and the fact that hitting a small object isn't impossible is why I did what I did. If a small rock can be hit by a thin stick in mid air, A 2 inch item could be sliced in two... and its gaia... a mixture of reality physics and anime physics.
Again, my PM box is always open. [:.]
