I believe a roleplaying thread in Barton town was suggested at one time to attract potential roleplayers? That could be a good idea if put into effect. I would offer to do it but I suck at setting up threads. >.< Fonti-Nel-Nel? Oddly enough that sounds amazingly familiar. o.O

I thought a thread in Barton Town might work pretty well.
Especially if we're literate and all that.

There are some pretty good literate roleplayers for Bleach around...like...well, this one here is alright, same with this one here. This one here is alright too, but the colours are blinding...
AH-HA! Finally found the one I was looking for. Now this is an advanced literate bleach roleplay. blaugh
Anyway, I'll stop throwing out random links now...
I can set up a thread, if people give me ideas and all that, so that I sort of have something to work off. That is, if people have the time to do it and want to.

I don't have any sort of ideas in particular... Perhaps we could quote some of our better posts and post them into the forum; that way it can give the people an idea on the type of literacy we're expecting from applying members. . . and we could also give a brief description of the story. Also, telling them about our Captain and Vice-Captain's, along with Crew, are all -usually- unbiased and well mannered people that are pretty welcoming and accepting to n00bs. sweatdrop

Besides the typical posting a forum in Guild forum and advertising that way. I've found requesting affiliation with other bleach guilds can be a good way to get the guild noticed, I've gotten quite a few people for my bleach guild that way.

Browse through guilds and request one from a guild that's affiliate-able?

People don't often want to affiliate with other bleach guilds, when their guild is based on bleach. But there are a few guilds that actually were made to let you advertise your own guild, for example Literate SearchLight Not saying that guild in particular because I think it is dead, but guilds like it. Just a suggestion though.

Anyway, as far as affiliation goes, I have yet to find a guild to affiliate ourselves with, as far as Bleach guilds are concerned with, at least.
I found a guild called Bleach Elites, or something like that, which is a stat-based RP guild as well. But it seems Taiga and Hiraka are against affiliating with them due to their lack of quality in terms of RPing and general organization-- though I for one think this shouldn't be a problem as we are only affiliating with them for the sake of advertising, but that's just my opinion anyway, so I'd like to hear what the crew thinks of it as well.
Also, I suppose I should stop procrastinating on creating a new recruitment thread in the forums. The last one I made got shot down, so I suppose I'll go with Taiga's suggestion, make a post and let another crew member post it up.

I was in Bleach Elites for a few months, terrible guild. They promote people to Captains just on a whim, someone asks, if the spot is free, boom, even if the person is a new member. But I don't see a problem in advertising with them personally, we aren't wanting to adapt their guild processes, just a few members, if they don't like how this guild is run compared to that one, oh well.
A new recruitment thread? Why did the last one get shot down?

I browsed through their forums a bit. The members are either semi-literate or literate, so their RP skills are alright. But yes, the systems are... well... questionable. But like I said, this'll only be for advertising purposes anyway.
I have no idea really. The mods said that a recruitment thread for that guild was already present, but I browsed through them and never found it. So it's probably in the nether regions of the forum threads, which is a pain to find.

I could suggest a few guilds that may affiliate with us. They did so when I had Coral Star Shinigami up, they aren't bad guilds, not amazing, but they are good. I new thread in the guilds would be good, if the old one is under the name Bleach 12 then making a new one with Bleach: White Chapters should be fine. If that doesn't work ask them to direct you to the old thread or ask them to delete it? I had the same problem with mine and after doing so things worked out.

I also think it would be wise to ask the members when they are sending in their join requests to include where they heard of us, that way, we can calculate the best way of advertising.
