Hearing Mark forgive her helped the sick feeling of anxiety that had been building since they bike ride made conversation difficult. Eolande felt a red heat in her face, though it was hardly from embarrassment. She felt a tightness around her chest release and a small nod of her head came. She couldn't bring herself to tell Mark the source of her burst of apologies. Not right now. She didn't want her new friend to think she was such a loser or stupid.

Eolande gave no resistance to the guiding tug of Mark's hand. Now that her fear of having angered Mark was abating, she was able to actually take a look at the house itself. She only got a brief glance really, but all the same it was impressive. It looked far more interesting then her own little house at the very least. The promise of being able to pick out Mark's outfit brought a faint smile to both Eolande's lips and eyes. "Are you sure you want to let me pick? I'll try to make our outfits match." She warned as she was pulled into the room. Somehow she felt as if she were gaining a peek into Mark that was a bit more intimate then anything else she'd learned thus far. Eolande's eyes moved to the walls and furniture as she lingered near the door.

"Oh...oh no. That's not necessary." Eolande replied while holding her hands up and waving them, as if to ward off there idea that had been brought up. Julia was very attractive but..well..Eolande was not about to go into all the reasons why a boy would never be interested or happy with her for that matter. Far too much luggage and Mark was too new a friend to share any of it with. "Alright. I'll wait here." She replied with moderate relief.

While Mark tended to her redressing, Eolande wandered a few steps into the room so she could admire it. There was just so much...girl here. She could tell Mark was happy, just looking around the room filled her with a warmth. She was willing to bet that if she laid down in the sheets of that tossed bed she'd feel more comfortable then she ever had in any other bed. Eolande glanced about and carefully lowered herself down on the edge of the bed. Sitting perched there, she dug into her pants pocket and pulled out the little pink box. How weird that it would look like it totally belonged in this room! For a moment Eolande played with the little yellow ribbon. She could just leave the box on the bed for Mark to find later when she went to sleep. That would save her the potential embarrassment of Mark not liking her present. She was hopeful that she would though... It was really...well...girly. A small gold link charm bracelet with a little dangling ruby heart on it. She had one of her own to tell the truth. When Eolande had seen them on her little theft spree, sitting side by side in the glass case...she just knew that they had been put there for her and Mark. Just like she had known that Marlon would like the ipod she had snatched for him. After a few more seconds of frustrated uncertainty, Eolande pushed the box into the middle of the bed and shifted off it. She didn't want to see if Mark didn't like the present. It would be a shameful moment and she'd know she'd feel sad for days afterwords. She'd rather not know..and give Mark the chance to bring it up later. yeah...that would be much easier.

When mark came out of the bathroom in only a closet...Eolande felt her face grow extremely hot. Her blue eyes widened and she found herself just...sort of...staring. She hardly even heard the question of clothing. Batting her eyes rapidly, Eolande jerked her sight to the closet and moved quickly to start flicking through the contents. "I..I..ah..n-no I did not. I..I'm sorry. I should have...just a moment...." She stammered. Oh god! Why wouldn't her cheeks stop burning!? Why did she feel so weird? Just because Mark felt comfortable enough to walk around her in a towl!

Hearing that teasing remark, Eolande glanced over at Mark...and felt her blush spread all the way to the tips of her ears. If her hair was not already streaked with red she was certain it would have started to change color too! "I..ah....hid something under your pillow!" She blurted out in an attempt to recover from her stammering.

Eolande was not aware of it...but she had stopped breathing. Her eyes were just...locked on Mark as she showed such excitement...and flashed her in a way that only midnight movies on the higher channels had when she had been unable to sleep due to a thunderstorm. With a force of will she did not know she possessed, Eolande pulled her eyes away from Mark and looked without seeing into the closet. This was wrong of her. She should not be looking at her friend like that. It was absolutely horrible of her.
Y-yes." She stammered and reached out to paw through some of the cloths in Mark's closet."

"I...I am so glad you like it." Eolande found herself saying as she pulled out a red top from the closet. Perhaps if she chose something with the same colors she was wearing... Eolande was successfully focusing on the cloths, when mark's tackle took her by surprise. Eolande toppled to the floor under the tackle, Mark's affectionate nuzzle served to keep her from crying out in shock though.

Oh...she could tell she was going to have a bruise from the fall...but having a towel clad mark holding her and squeezing her...it completely drove her worry from her mind about such aches and pains. "I..I...I..." She stammered. Her hands fluttering a bit around Mark. She was afraid to touch her, lest she touch bare skin! " I...h-happy..I got...match..." She stumbled in an attempt to reply.

"Y-yeah." Eolande managed to reply. The shock of being tackled by the towel wearing Mark was quickly ebbing. Perhaps it was because she'd been around her so much already? She was getting used to Mark's quirks. That had to be it. When Mark proclaimed she was shy, Eolande could not stop her eyes from dropping down towards her toes. "Your very....powerful in presence. I've never had a friend like you before." She answered softly. Eolande turned and tugged on a white and red sundress she had seen in the closet. "I thought this would look nice on you...since I'm wearing a red skirt and white top...and your bracelet would match too." As Eolande spoke, she lifted her hand and lightly tugged the elastic cuff open, so she could finger out her matching bracelet. Since Mark had her gift now, it made some sense to show her that she really did have a match.

"You have a lot of really cute cloths Mark. Have you actually worn all of them?"

It felt good to be reassured by Mark. Eolande's slightly stressed features smoothed away as a smile took a true place on her face. Mark liked her as she was? Hearing that...it felt better then when she was transformed. Knowing that Mark liked her...yes. It was much better then any of the powers she had received this far. Eolande rubbed her fingers over her wrist for a moment and toyed with the gold chain about it.

She allowed her inner thoughts to keep herself distracted as Mark got herself dressed up properly. She could not help but glance over her, as she would tease her so. Why did Mark make her blush like this? She couldn't recall any other person who made her cheeks turn so pink so often. "That actually sounds kinda fun." She spoke softly. Dressing up with her friend...she had never thought of doing something like that with anyone before. "You know Mark...maybe someday we could...I dunno...have a sleep over? Then we could try on cute things and watch tv or something?"

Eolande found herself squeezing that arm. A bit more tightly then she probably should have. Still even with that little thought niggling thought whispering at her, Eolande did not let got of her arm. Smiling faintly, Eolande tilted her head and rested it against Mark's shoulder. "I am sorry if you think I'm being reserved. It's just my nature I guess. I would love having a sleep over with you. Maybe tomorrow? If..that's not too soon or anything." Eolande lifted her head up a bit to peek at Mark, her blue eyes glittering with amusement as Mark brought the conversation back around to the park.

"Yes. Let's head to the park. Then we can have dessert and plan the sleep over?" Eolande glanced to the red cooler and reached a hand out to pick it back up. "Did I tell you what I brought you yet?" She asked as she tugged on her bow to double check and make certain it was still firmly in place.
