Dari turned around and skittered to Midnight on her wings like a spider, then loweing herself face to face to her. Her Personae were close enough to see their true forms, and faintly hear them. "She seems to be sincere, and i have not observed any sign of aggression. She also pursued you as you tried to leave." said Kai. "I think we should at least engage in verbal communication, but do not reveal too much about yourself." added Sai. Dari look Midnight in the eyes. "You can call me Dari, and i come from above the clouds, though where i cannot reveal." She said. "i've never heard of a Vampire before, and i was not aware of any humans living on the Surface." She pulled back a bit and crossed her arms. "She said she was with the mortals, which would infer that she is immortal." Kai observed.

Midnight chuckled. "Yes vampires aren't as bad as they seem to be.. Well they can be bad depeneding on the side they take." She smiled showing her fangs. "What a cute pair of.. Whatever those things are." She said refering to Kai and Sai.
The enemy drew closer and Drake soon realized there was no way he could take them all on himself. Not caring about what was going to happen to him he unsheathed his sword ready to fight.

"She can see our normal form!?" exclaimed Kai. Sai rolled her eyes. "Of course dummy, we are visible at a range of 1 foot." Dari ignored the comment, keeping a straight face and observing Midnight's fangs. she leaned closer and took a good look at them. "How do you differ from a Human...being a vampire?" she stated. Kai flew over in front of Midnight's face and smiled widely while waving furiously before Sai pulled her back to their master's shoulder.

"Vampires need blood to survive but at the same time they don't have to breath and they have no need for food. Or other pointless things." Midnight looked at Dari in the eyes no emotion showing. She waved back to Kai then chuckled not beliving that she just did that.

"blood... wait, she's a Vanah Amuscalas!" whispered Sai harshly. Dari's eyes widened and an expression of anger flashed across her face, she quickly drew her "blessed" battle claws and pressed them both across Midnight's neck. "Death to you, foul creature of the dark!" she shouted. "No, Wait!" exclaimed Kai. "She's not a Vanah demon, she can't be. Vanahs can't survive in the light!" Dari hesitated and looked Midnight in the eyes, searching for confirmation.

Midnight's eyes where filled with fear and pain as her skin started to burn. "Hey mind taking your holy claws off me?" She asked her voice filled with pain. "I may be a blood sucker but I wont hurt you. Now you're going to leave a scar." She said.

Seeing the fear in Midnight's eyes, Dari withdrew her claws. "See? Even though she burns from our weapons, she feels fear." stated Kai. "Right, sorry." replied Dari, giving Sai a scolding look. "My Persona jumped to conclusions, be thankful the other has a keen eye. Your kin ravage my homeland when it is shrouded by storm clouds, i hope you understand."

Midnight gasped for air and placed her hand on her new scar. "Yeah I understand just be more careful would ya? Don't want to lose my skin." She snickered.

Dari nodded her head lowered herself to the ground, sitting. She examined her hip engines and pulled out a small tool case and proceeded to tinker with the jets. "Turbine, Fuel Injector, Oxidizer... all burned to a crisp." she threw various mechanical parts to the side, landing near Midnight. "we'll need to find replacements if we are ever going to get airborne" noted Kai. "We are stranded on the surface, there's no way we can find anything usable." Dari replied, turning to Midnight. "i guess there's no other choice but for me to accompany you, i believe you know this place better than i." She hoisted herself up and stood on her feet, folding her mechanical wings behind her back.

Vladmir, perching atop the highest nearby tree, replaces his scythe across his back. He had relished in the slaughter that he had just dealt to the humans. He licked the blood from his hands- yet he thirsted for more. The unwavering bloodlust grasping his very bones. He stared over the below situation- taking in every last detail, even seeing those dwelling in the shadows.
"I will wait....see what unfolds here..." he chuckled to himself, hoping that a bloody battle ensues. His eyes fell upon Dari. "What an interesting looking....human..." With blood running down his face, he remained motionless, watching and waiting- his eyes filled with malice and evil, and a smile that would make even the devil himself cringe- fangs glistening from the crimson liquid he had drank not an hour before.

Midnight nodded. "Yes I do. You should do good to stay close unless you can defend yourself." She told Dari. "You may be in trouble if you wander off by yourself." She explained.
People and vampires alike came forth in a wave that seemed to never end. Drake jumped up out of sight knowing he couldn't take them all. He watched as they passed by him. He moved farther away from them creeping along so they couldn't see him.
