The vixen smiled to herself, wondering if the other commanders of ships far off would agree its nothing too big; or if he was trying to impress her. Reguardless, it was working; then again she was impressed at Aerodynamic. "Well...I can only speak on my behalf. Octave and Arpegius get the worst ones, nothing like crying, fainting girls for a vocalist and guitarist." A light hearted chuckle escaped her lips, nodding her head diligently as she knew she'd just bring her bag then.

Looking up to Shep, she was a bit surprised that he was so quick to be a gentleman; having not even noticed that he'd gotten out of his seat in the first place. "Why...thank you, Shep." Stella felt the small temperature increase along her cheeks and motioned back inside the shop so they could grab her bag. She was thankful she didn't have much to bring since she didn't need to bring her Bass and all the associated items along with it.

"Im surprised you don't have your own base of swooning ladies at such chordial behaviour..."

"I imagine." He nodded at the comment about the girls. "I see them on the TV. They go nuts for them. I imagine they must be on high alert all the time to avoid the crowds of them." He lightly chuckled at the thought.

He noticed he seemed to startle her lightly. He must have had too must of a personality change or something. His eyes widened a bit at the comment she made, taking him at surprise. "Oh... Hahaha. No. I don't do well with girls. I'm stuck on a ship most of my life..." And he had an unhealthy crush (boarding on obsession) with Stella, not that he'd say it out loud. He was flattered that she thought to say so though.

"Mmm, Yes. They love it though, its the lives we decided on and it would be such a shame if any of us didn't love what we do. Despte how crazy things get..." Once more Stella chimed in a chorus of laughter, taking lead as she moved to the door of the shop and slipped inside.

"You don't? Thats surprising!" Even his earlier mannerisms were still cute; at least he hadn't been screaming in pitches no male should be able to shouting proposals. Those were a bit awkward...

Dropping the cup at the counter, she motioned a paw up the stairs to where he room was, slowly asending up the steps with a graceful glide as her feet were hidden by her tail and dress. "I never thougth about that, Shep. It sounds awfully lonely up there, yet one doesn't dwell on day to day when all they hear about is the glory..." Poor guy....she wondered if he ever had any visitors up there on the Aerodynamic from time to time.

"I am glad you guys do what you do though. There is nothing I love more then Cresendoll's music. It's my life." He smiled along with Stella, taking notes to how graceful she was. Even not off stage she never failed to appear elegant and graceful.

"No. I don't go for just any girl though. I am not much of a flirt unless I truly like the girl." He pondered that statement for a few seconds. "I don't have any records of flirting with someone before though." That is, not until he got the change to meet Stella. He was flirting like mad with her. Or at least trying, even if it was awkward.

He followed after her. "It is very lonely. I learned many tricks to fill my time though when I have no work to do. I am very thankful you'll come to visit. Aerodynamic really needs a visitor besides myself." He chuckled at that. It was true. It was just his ship. Nothing more boring then that.

"That makes two of us..." She breathed out, reaching out to grasp the handle of the door and quietly slip in to the shop. Stella wasn't sure what she would do if she hadn't been approached for the part....perhaps she would have had nothing but a normal life. It wasn't a bad thought....but then she wouldn't be able to appreciate it if she hadn't become famous.

"Really?" Taking a glance over her shoulder, a delicate smile stretched over her lips as she took the first step of the stair when she came upon it. "I guess that just makes you all the more of a catch for your destined. Yet I am both honored and greatful you'll have me for the week....even if it is to help keep you company." Flashing him a sincere smile, the vixen glided up the stairs and rounded the corner to her room.

Once she was in, the room was tidy and organized, and it really didn't take long to put the few items she left out like a notebook, her brush and other various items from their spot into her duffel bag.

Shep lost his smile for a second to get more of an awed expression, and blush of course. If he kept blushing like this it almost seemed like it would stick permanently on his face at this rate! What he said was true, about the flirting with other girls. At a young age he had sold his heart to Stella and even though many have tried to go after him he had never looked in their direction. It caused him to loose some popularity, but it was worth it.

His whole life seemed to just be for this moment. He was very thankful he was the captain of the Aerodynamic or else she would have run off a while ago. He sat down next to her bag to wait for her to finish packing so he could carry it for her. He stared at things on the wall to avoid seeming rude and pressuring her. He would never want that!

"Tell me, Stella. What are you like? You always seem to have this air of mystery about you. What sort of things do you like doing or seeing?" He looked at her curiously, the excited smile back on his face. And it was very true too. She always has this wall almost. Perhaps it was because he was a fan, but he wanted to get to know her. He wanted to know what she liked so he can spoil her. (that is, if he gets a chance to)

Taking up her final belonging from the drawers, a picture of the band she took everywhere; she was thankful her back was to Shep as his question caught her completely off guard. Reaching for the fabric over her heart she looked down at the picture, feeling an ache she hadn't felt in such a long long time. The vixen remained silent for a moment or two before finally pushing some of her hair out from her face and turning; any faltering of her expression pushed back behind the curtain.

"There isn't much about me from what you see through the camera, Shep." She stated, walking over and setting the picture delicately in the bag and zipped it up. "I do enjoy seeing the sights, I learned how to dance when I was younger...and I love keeping a garden." Stella smiled calmly, and reached to pick up her own bag since it wasn't heavy. "Otherwise I spend my time taking care of my band mates, a mother figure, if you would."

She could only hope that was a satisfying enough of an answer, since she had almost completely avoided the subject of her own mystery....ones she hoped to keep under wraps. "I am all done, shall we go?"

Shep frowned, he must have hit a sensitive topic. He felt that there was much more to her then what he saw on the TV. He wanted to press it further but something told him it would be a bad idea so he dropped the topic. Perhaps he'd get the information out of her later on.

"I see. They must all adore you then." He lightly smiled, trying to figure out a safe topic to talk about until she announced she was ready. "Ah! Excellent! The transport ship is outside." He picked up her bag and went down the stairs to go outside. The transport ship was very unimpressive, but it did the job. All it needed to do was bring himself and 3 other passengers to the main ship. He opened the main hood and put her stuff carefully in the corner and snapped it in so it wouldn't move around.

He hopped back down and grinned at her. "There is a trick to getting in this. Although it looks small the steps are high up. Grab onto the rail there and you sort of need to jump a bit to get the first step. Then its easy to walk up." He nodded and waited next to her in case she needed help getting up.

Nodding her head slowly, she was thankful he didn't didn't press any further even if she hadn't realized he caught onto the shift in her mood momentarily. "Is it really?" She said with a beaming smile, not having even seen it in her walking around today. When he'd snatched the bag before she could grab it she was about to protest, but somehow had the feeling she wouldn't win that argument from his helping hand earlier. Smiling to herself she followed along behind the male diligently till they were outside.

"For such a ship I am amazed it has its own tricks..." She mused, but listened carefully as he explained a safe way for her to get up. Nodding her head she muttered a quick 'Pardon me..' as she held onto the rail as well as reaching up to use his shoulders to elegantly hop up to the first step as he instructed and made it quite effortlessly up the rest of the stairs till she was inside.

Standing away from the door to allow the captain to enter himself, she busied herself to looking around with a smile. It wasn't as lavished and extravagant as some of the cruiser ships she'd been in; but it had its own humble charm.
PostPosted: Tue Jun 22, 2010 6:40 pm

He was amazed at how easily she got into the ship. He had seen some of the new recruits even have a tough time. One in particular had missed the first step and fallen flat on his face. That was the only good part about training new recruits. He watched her get inside and followed right after her.

"I wish I had a larger ship. This thing is old, but at least it gets the job done. You can take whichever chair you want." He swiftly sat down in the captain's chair and started pressing some buttons. He glanced over to see if she picked a chair and pressed a few more buttons to lock the top lid. Grinning he turned to look at her.

"Ready Stella? This girl may be old, but she has a kick to her." He didn't turn away and put on his helmet. He picked up a spare helmet for her and handed it over.

Better to play it safe after all. That helmet was who-knows-how-old, but its better then nothing. And she had no idea, this transport ship had a lot more then just the stairs. There were a lot of fun little parts of it if found. Of course he planned on showing her that, the ride was 20 minutes sure, with the autopilot abused, but he wanted to show her a bit of what he had. He glanced over at a small cabinet which contained a deck of cards.

"It's lovely, Shep. It really is." Besides, she convinced herself who needs extravagance when you have a ship like the Aerodynamic as well? Nodding her head slowly the vixen took her seat close to the captains and watched him work, amazed he didn't even miss a beat starting the ship up as if it was as natural as breathing. She admired it so, but looked up quickly when he turned around and put on a beaming smile.

"I am ready when you are!" Excitement tinted her voice as she slipped the helmet over her head without a second thought, securing it tight and fastening her seat's harness. She knew his warning to be truthful and didn't want to take a chance either that something could happen and leave her unable to perform; for it would be most tragic.

Folding her paws on her lap, she sat and waited, taking a few moments to look around the ship as she did feel curiosity pull her to ask; but they did have to take off first!

"This is the easy part." He returned to pressing buttons and holding his paw above one button he laughs. "Hold on tight!" He pressed the button and the ship lurched straight up pulling them tight against the seats. Thankfully at the rate his ship goes it didn't last very long and soon they were out of the atmosphere. Laughing he pressed some buttons, turned his chair so it was facing her and got out of his seat.

"Want to explore? There isn't much here but I have a few games and whatnot." It was tiny. Just one little room. But hey, it had a ton of cabinets and all sorts of little nooks and crannies. And after a quick glance, he had to admit, even that old helmet looked amazing on her.

"Autopilot will save your life when there is nothing going on!" He went to a small box behind the last chair and started rummaging in it for a few seconds. "Hm..." Frowning he goes into another box to dig for what he was looking for.

"Easy...?" Stella echoed before the force of take off pushed her body uncomfortably into her seat. No matter how many times she went into orbit and beyond she was aware it wasn't getting any easier, especially with the kick this little transport shuttle had. None the less she held on until the pressure slacked and there were beyond the atmosphere.

Once Shep had turned around and had initiated autopilot, she nodded her head eagerly. "Sure." The vixen unbuckled herself from the seat and stood, ready to follow until she took a glance out the window to see the entirety of space. Awe struck she silently moved over to it as she could hear Shep rummaging around for something in the boxes; placing her paw on the cold glass as her reflection gave way to her inspired expression. With eyes warm with wonder, her tail swayed slowly at the beautiful colours of the vast world just beyond the glass.

"Beautiful..." She whispered, eyes closing half lidded as she get out a slow sigh of breath.
PostPosted: Thu Jun 24, 2010 10:08 pm

Shep stopped rummaging for a few seconds to glance back at her with a light smile. He wanted to argue with her that she was much more beautiful then space was... But he didn't want to frighten her away. He just smiles brighter and returns to look for the object. "Just so you know, this space craft is small so in a short while we will start floating. Aerodynamic is large enough that it generates its own gravity. Ah! Here it is!"

Shep smirked and pulled out a shoebox. Not sure if she is interested, but at least this was a way to pass the time for at least the few minutes before they end up floating around and this becomes pointless. "If you are interested, I have a photo album. You'll get to see some great images of Aerodynamic when it was younger." And himself too. But he was certain she didn't care for that.

"Floating?" Stella blinked and turned her head to Shep as he continued to rummage around. "I don't think i've ever been on a ship that doesn't create its own gravity..." It was true, all the luxurious transport ships she'd been on all had a stable gravity generator...she couldn't remember a time that she ever lost gravity.

Breaking away from the window, her dainty paws carried her over to the male as she leaned over his shoulder for a moment to look at the photo album. "I'd love to see...she was, and is such an impressive ship. I can still so vividly remember that maiden voyage." Smiling brightly she settled down on the floor beside him and curled her tail around her hips. "We best hurry, it might be harder to appreciate them while upside down..." Gently a giggle roused from her throat, flashing him a playful smile.
