Riley looks at Drak and smiles.
"Excuse me for a second."
She looks at Ryu and waves him over. "Come over here."
"No, no, wait, Riley- MAAAAA!!!!" He runs over to her side quickly and stops.
"Ri....Ril..." He tries to whisper.
"Tired?" She punches him in the face and he falls over. "I told you to stay at home!!!!"
"Maaa, well you were the one that called me here! You know I can't walk on my own!!"
"Eh...." She pauses to think, and then blushes. "...Sorry."
Riley turns to Drak and gestures toward Ryu. "He's my best illusion. Can't turn to dust, or fade."

"Nnn?" Joe's ears perked up and he opened one eye with all the voices calling out down below. 'Aww, man. Naptime's done.'
Joe rolled over, falling off of the branch he'd been laying on. He lay sprawled out on a bush near Drak, Riley and Katty.
"Whoa, hey there little dudes. There some sorta party going on out here?"

"The name's Joe." he said, holding a hand up. His face was still half-buried in bush. He started to rock from side to side until he fell out of it. Brushing himself off as he stood up, he said, "Nice to meetcha."
Looking around, he saw the peaks of the main school campus between the trees. "It's funny, don't catch a whole lotta freshmen wandering around on the first day. So if you guys are like having some sort of get-together, I'm totally in."

Joe's expression drooped a little. "Aww, so no party? Bummer. I was looking forward to a barbeque."
'Oh yeah, I'd better get that...'
Joe looked back up into the branches, and spotted something. He wrapped his arms around the tree he'd been in, and shimmied his way up the oak until he got to the foliage. He dropped down again holding a mop and bucket in his hands.
The bucket was full of leaves, and a bird's nest was stuck in the strands of mop.

"All right peeps, well if there's no party here I gotta slide. Your mission if you choose to accept it," he said, performing a kung-fu mantra, one leg raised and both arms flexed mantis-style, "...observe the secret of the wandering janitor!"
He did an awkward jump kick, and the nest fell out of mop. "Do you, like, accept?"

((This is just an idea for something interesting to write about in the Forest. I'm not actually playing the monster, so feel free to do whatever you want with the idea. biggrin )
Up in the treetops, the monster snarled. Its meal had just woke up from where it'd been sleeping in the tree and had rolled off all of a sudden. It couldn't go after the man without exposing itself, there were suddenly children all over the forest and the beast hadn't noticed. The thing knew it was dangerous to expose itself to humans unless it was sure it could kill them.
Its stomach growled, and it bared its fangs. It wanted MEAT. The monster watched from above as the girl Minnie started to trot away from the others, and it smiled. Prey wandering alone was prey easily caught... it slunk silently in the canopy above, following Minnie until it found an opportunity to catch her...
