" I see~" he murmured~ " i am glad you enjoy the things you can then..." he smiled crookedly " ahh~ fam...ily..." he sounded out~ for it was a most unfamiliar word to him. " you are right...haha...yes" he felt strange laughing, even though the sound was like glass cracking it felt good to laugh...
He nodded as she spoke of leaving those who had wronged her, and he sighed " i hope...you are free of those sooner than later miss Niobe...Do see the world, and what it holds...someday you will walk free of the past that.......haunts you..." his eyes burned bright green from under his helm...raw emotion...
He blinked slowly and eyed her delicate wings, they were indeed like those of a butterfly...the same movements, the same stained glass beauty..." debt...perish the thought...you are a friend now Niobe...i do whatever i can...to help" he smiled genuinely, scuffing a skeletal hoof. " And i hope for it to last...for a looong time~"

"Please just call me Niobe, miss makes me feel like Im on the formal grounds with a stranger. Which, I am not." She chided him softly. "Yes, someday it will be just what it should be, my past, not clinging to my future but merely a lesson learned." she nodded her head with a faint sigh before she glanced around.
"I do not hold friendship lightly, if I call you friend..I will until my final breath passes." She said with another nod of her head, "How about we take a stroll through the trees? To enjoy all the flowers, and to put the past where it should be..behind us."

Nightmare smiled, taking a step forward as to start, his eyes glowing a merry lime green, a sign of happiness. " haha~~~~i will do...to remember that, Niobe~"
A shiver went down his flanks, making the armor groan, the only other sound in the deep flower graced night. " And i will honor that friendship, my honor is my life...believe it or not~" He eyed his hooves skeptically " or...unlife...as it may be..." he chuckled a little, the sound a little less hair raising. " Yes, let us walk and see the night...for it's beauty and it's secrets~" He took another step, the coldfire flaring, lighting up the area with a flickering emerald glow..." to light the way...where the moon cannot reach~" he murmured " shall we?"

"Your so very fascinating Nightmare.." She said as she came up to his side, joining him, but ever careful to keep away from the lick of his eerie flames, she wasnt sure what they could, or would do to her, not that she was scared mind you.
"And yes, we shall.." She smiled, nodding her head, jagged bangs hung over her eyes for a moment before she shook them again, a gift it seems, she had passed onto her niece as well.

Nightmare blinked at her, his lime green eyes widening in amusement " fasc-ina-ting?" he sounded out the word as if it were new to him " i will guess...that is a good thing" he smiled at her, curbing his fine levels of eerie. " I am pleased you find me so..." he hissed gently, Watching as the flames of his hooves cast strange flickering light over her small form.
He continued to walk, with her at his side, looking up at all the trees, bathed in the moonlight and crowned with stars. He stole another glance at Niobe, a joyful feeling springing in his creepy heart. A friend~ it was nice, very nice.
