Kasen followed Genji as he was about to start the next lesson as he paid attention closely. He watched as Genji told him the details on how to the Kidō and demonstrated it as he had few mental notes. " Concentrate on anchor points, form reiatsu into a shield, and imagine the locations." Kasen thought to himself as he realized the difference between this Kidō and the last. The last one required him to be stationary and create the shield and keep it in place, however he was making something that needed to be stretched out and required precision of place to be created.
Kasen attempted the Bakudō as he raised his reiatsu to create the Bakudō as he raised his hands. Releasing his reiatsu above him, Kasen tried to focus his reiatsu as he closed his eyes and concentrated. A strange purple-like web appeared above him as it tried to shoot off at the trunks of the tree's to hold onto them as if an anchor were docking them. It wrapped around three tree trunks, however the other two miscalculated and missed the tree's completely as they hung downward as they fell as they dissipated before hitting the two below. "This is going to be tough."

Kasen sighed as he tried to try again with the Bakudō as he raised his hands and released his purple reiatsu out. Trying once more, Kasen began chanting the Bakudō's name and tried to form it. "Bakudō #37, Tsuriboshi!" The reiatsu became solid as it began spinning itself as Kasen began weaving itself into a net so it could latch onto the trees. One-by-one, the net formed itself and tried to anchor itself at the trees as it fired on end to latch itself to create the Bakudō. The first wrapped itself around the trunk of the tree successfully. The Bakudō then tried to wrap itself around the second tree as the net stretched outward to grab the trunk. Successfully, it wrapped around the second tree and was now searching for the third three. Kasen focused upon the third tree as the Bakudō looked for the next anchor point which was the third tree that was across the first tree. "Focus..." Kasen thought to himself as he needed to guide the Kidō.
The Bakudō stretched its net out as it sought out the next anchor point otherwise Kasen wouldn't be able to complete the Bakudō. "There!" Kasen thought as he tried to send it against the tree trunk to wrap itself around it. The tree had a small thud sound as the Bakudō was wrapped around the third tree trunk now giving an almost secure net. The fourth and fifth points were the final and last two who needed to wrap around the last two tree trunks. "Focus..." Kasen thought to himself as he needed to get the last two anchor points. The Bakudō was searching for the last points as it was searching for the fourth tree and went around the tree's trunk as it was now wrapped around it. The last part of the net sort of was thrown off as it struck the trunk and didn't wrap itself safely, making the last anchor point insecure.

Genji looked at the anchor points, smiling at four out of five of them. One was insecure. "Not perfect but it is still pretty good for a start. You need practice. This spell is literally a safety net, so if it falls through... Well, that isn't good. If you keep practicing concentrating on the anchor points faster and more accurately, you will nail that Bakudo. I highly doubt that you will have any trouble with these next two spells," said Genji confidently. "I've seen you in action, and you have impressed me quite a bit. Next, we will focus on projectile Hado, a contrast from the Bakudo I have been teaching you today. Remember the procedure used for Hado #4. The execution is very similar, but instead of channeling reiatsu into your fingers, you most send it into your palm. That causes problems for some people since it is easier to control the reiatsu through the finer tips of the fingers, but it won't cause problems for you. Watch me do it."
Genji eyed one of the targets. His shining emerald reiatsu radiated around him. He forced his right arm out and held it steady at the elbow with his left hand, almost like aiming a gun. "Hado #31 Shakkaho!" A bright ball of vermillion energy appeared in Genji's palm and grew larger as it left his hand. The ball smashed into the target and created an explosion. Genji turned to Kasen and smiled. "Now it's your turn."

Kasen looked at the last anchor point as he began taking in air once more as the concentration dropped on the final point. Honestly, Kasen was tired as three Bakudō in a row was tough, but he listened to Genji and his eyes sparked for a moment as Genji told him they were now on the Hadō spells. Kasen watched Genji as he demonstrated the Kidō with eyes that studied as Kasen watched Genji fired the Kidō out of his hand and destroy the target and watched the explosion.
Kasen grinned as this was his area of true expertise as his zanpakuto and its techniques were exactly like this Hadō, only difference was that it came out as a different product. Kasen raised his hand as he held the palm out and began storing reiatsu into his right arm as it glowed crimson. Kasen felt his arm storing the reiatsu as he began chanting. "Hadō #31, Shakkahō!" Kasen released an crimson ball of reiatsu that left his hand and sought to seek out its target and explode. However, it suddenly diminished into nothing as Kasen looked at it strangely as it disappeared.

Kasen looked at his palm slightly as he realized he didn't give the Kidō enough concentration and volume of reiatsu to stay long enough to hurt anything. Kasen began storing reiatsu into his body as reiryoku became reiatsu in his right arm as Kasen used his left hand to hold up the right palm. A red crimson circle appeared on Kasen's palm as Kasen chanted the Kidō's name. "Hadō #31, Shakkahō!" The crimson circle transformed into a small crimson sphere of red energy as it was being created. Kasen focused on the target as he poured reiatsu into Shakkahō until finally, Kasen fired the Kidō at the dummy which exploded and incinerated as Kasen's palm was burned slightly as this was the apparent side-effect to this Kidō until Kasen could practice it later.

Genji smiled boardly and clapped. "Good work, Kasen-kun!" he cheered. "You did start off a bit rock, but fortunately, it didn't blow up in your face." Genji then waved his hands up in front of him and grew awkward. "I'm not saying that you would have or that I was expecting it. You learned it well and quikcly. Well done. Well then!" Genji clap his hands together and rubbed them together as he spied around for another target. "The next spell, when compared to Hado #31, isn't too complicated in understanding form and reiatsu flow. However, it is far more powerful and does require a significant increase in reiatsu charged for proper execution. After seeing your last performance, I doubt that there will have any issues. Hado #31, in my goofy analogy, is the younger brother of the two. He is not as strong as the older brother, Hado #33. The older brother is stronger and more difficult to over come in battle; Hado #33 is harder to control, and accuracy is harder to sustain. Furthermore, you will need to use more reiatsu to do it. It won't be easy..." Genji looked stern, but a smile broke that, "but I'm sure that you can handle it. Watch me."
Genji reenacted the pose he did for Hado #31. This time, however, his reiatsu was more intense. A gust of wind slowly started to come to life around his feet and raise about his body. The trees breathed in with apprehension.
"Hado #33 Soukatsui!"
From his palm, a glorious blast of pearl and cerulean rushed out with fury. The trees shook and applauded the power as the wind from the spells formation whipped them. The energy blasted the target into nothingness and left a far larger crater.
"I don't expect it to come easily, but you will get it." Genji smiled at him. "Have faith in yourself, Kasen-kun. If you ask me, that is more important than any kido."

Kasen listened to Genji as he tried to explain the next Hadō as he remembered seeing it once before but never got a chance to fully see one. He listened on as Genji made his analogy and perform the Hadō which surprised him a bit as Genji destroyed the target completely and left such a large mark. Before Kasen gathered his reiatsu to attempt, he looked at Genji. "I know this is a little late, but after this could you teach me the 32nd Hadō as well, can't have the little and older brother without the middle." Kasen said with his own smirk as he raised his palm and relaxed his body as his body glowed an indigo color as he focused his reiatsu in his right arm, taking in more than last time to prepare for this Kidō.
Kasen chanted the Kidō's name as he attempted the Hadō. "Hadō #33 Sōkatsui!" Kasen shouted as he attempted to release the larger and wider blue sphere to strike a target, however as it was releasing itself and forming, it suddenly exploded as Kasen was sent back a few feet as Kasen fell to the ground as the Kidō failed to be executed completely.

Kasen lied on the ground groaning a bit from the explosion as he tried to stand up and tried to figure out what happen. He thought he had the Kidō ready, but maybe he miscalculated on the output of reiatsu to fire the Hadō. "I underestimated this one..." Kasen told himself as he tried once more as he relaxed his body's flow of reiatsu as he focused upon the target and building up the needed source of energy to destroy it. His palm released a cyan burst of reiatsu as it was formed a wide sphere as Kasen tried to focus and concentrate on the Kidō.
"Hado #34, Sōkatsui!" Kasen shouted as he held the right wrist with his left hand to stabilize his arm's control as he fired the cyan sphere. The blast released itself from Kasen's palm as it didn't explode as it left, striving towards its target as it was closing in on the dummy. Within a moment, the blast exploded and destroyed the dummy as a small layer of smoke hid the blade. However, Kasen looked at the area where he sent the Hadō and opened his eyes in surprise as the crater was formed from the impact of the Kidō and target. The explosion radius was caused by the Kidō exploding just a moment before touching the target as the crater wasn't equally centered, but grew larger and as it came outward as if it was a different attack. "It didn't explode till before it struck..." Kasen muttered to himself as he looked at Genji a bit.

Genji stroked his chin and hummed. "You need practice, but don't be ashamed. You still did a good job. When I learned that spell, I had trouble too. Believe it or not, I almost blew my arm off." Genji let out hard laugh and smiled. "You will do fine Kasen-kun." He stoled over to his student and put his hand on Kasen's shoulder and, of course, with a smile he said, "Never give up.
"Now... I remember you said that you wanted to learn Hado #32 in addition. That is no trouble at all. I just hope we have enough target dummies for this one. If we don't, it doesn't matter, for this spell, unlike the first two, does rely on accuracy nearly as much. It is much more of spray...ish. Kind of like a shotgun blast... but not really..." It was hard to figure out the right words to use to describe the move. "I think showing you will be better."
Genji walked a little way from Kasen for safety. "This one carries a lot of punch like Hado 33 but requires much less concentration on aim. Instead, focus that attention to spreading the reiatsu out from your hand in a wide range. If you have Hado #31 and #33 under your belt, this one won't be hard. For practicing, get in the same position you did for the other two spells with your free arm holding the firing arm steady." Genji did just that. "Hado #32 Ōkasen!" A wide arc of pure, golden energy was released from Genji's hand with no real target but with the purpose to shine and dazzle all with its intense brilliance. All the blades of grass in the field ducked and covered. When the spell was over, Genji turned to Kasen with a last bit of advice. "I like this spell a little more than the other two because it also works very well as a shield. You can fire it to intercept an enemy attack, protecting yourself and or others. Now it is your turn."

Kasen smiled a bit as Genji tried to comfort him a bit after his strange Sōkatsui exploded. Kasen watched Genji release the brilliant gold energy as it just released itself into the open field as as it struck something at the end of the vast field. "I'll try." Kasen said as he looked at his slightly charred arm that was the results of attempting the last Hadō, however he couldn't learn if he didn't try. Focusing his reiatsu into his right arm once more as Kasen held the wrist to keep it straight, Kasen chanted. "Hadō #32, Ōkasen!" A glow of yellow light glimmered from his hand as he tried to use the Kidō, however the light dispersed as the Kidō didn't form completely and simply collapsed upon itself. Kasen chuckled to himself as he realized, he's completely tired and didn't have enough energy for one more Kidō as he needed to rest for a moment.
As he rested to restore energy, Kasen pulled out a small playing card that looked normal. Suddenly, both Kasen and the card glowed a dark shade of black and violet as the card was becoming dimmer and dimmer while Kasen's own reiatsu grew a bit as Kasen was siphoning energy from the card which he created which contained his abilities. Kasen sighed a bit as both he and the card stopped glowing as Kasen now had enough energy for the Kidō. Holding his arm up once more, Kasen chanted once more as he gathered reiatsu into his palm. "Hadō #32, Ōkasen!" Kasen shouted as the wide, brightly, golden energy fired itself at a half-destroyed target which was destroyed upon contact as Kasen breathed heavily for a moment before his breathing returned to normal.

Genji was very impressed by how quickly Kasen took to that spell. When he remembered learning it not too long ago from his captain, the memory of his quick grasp of it flashed up into few and assured him that Kasen would do just fine with this Kido. That was enough for him. "Well..." Genji said happily. "I believe that that is all for today. I do hope you enjoyed yourself, and I am terribly sorry if I pushed a bit hard, though I don't think I did. Either way, you did get the Kido you wanted. If you need any more, know that you are always welcome here, Kasen-kun. I find that passage of knowledge from one to another is a sign of friendship, so don't be a stranger. I won't see you as such; I'll see you as a friend."

Kasen smiled a bit as he looked at Genji and remembered their old promise. "Remember, I will always treat you a friend, and if you stop by the Tenth Divison, I'll be happy to have a chat or get a bite with you." Kasen said as he gave Genji the invitation to see him at his squad which was true kindness to let someone come to your squad with no worries. "I will take my leave now, I hope you have a wonderful future ahead of you... Farewell, Genji-san." Kasen said as he began his leave from the area and walked to his squad with his newly taught Kidō in his mind and body ready for the occasion.
